My verdict

I've tried a TON of automatic male masturbators. Probably more than 15. Weird flex, I know. But I'm saying that to let you know that I REALLY love the Chalovelo MOTOX1. Does it have fancy app features? No. Does it look like the smoothest piece of sex tech? Not really. But that's what I love about it. It's a piece of sex tech that feels like so much effort was put into it. And really nails what matters most: It's going to jerk you off and give you explosive orgasms like never before. Everything comes together to put your pleasure first. The stroking, vibrations, heating, and tightening entrance all work in tandem to bring you to the future of sex tech. And all of it is controlled by motorcycle handles. Get this toy now if you're ready to rev up your dick.

Pros

Probably the coolest/weirdest design for an automatic stroker.
The thrusting feels amazing.
You'll be impressed with how intuitive the controls are.
Vibration and heating functions are such a nice touch.
The adjustable entrance lets you really experiment with what you're feeling.
So damn easy to clean.

Cons

Inconsistent branding could be a little bothersome, but really, who cares?
Some lube would have been nice.

Just getting this out of the way now: Out of all the automatic masturbators I've tried, this one is my favorite. This toy is just so unique that I haven't seen its features anywhere else. And once I got a taste of what this toy has to offer, I wasn't sure if I wanted to use any other automatic stroker. Let me explain why Chalovelo's MOTOX1 is a toy that deserves your attention.

Design: What the Actual F#*k?

You saw the main photo at the top of this page. I'm sure you were just as confused as I was when I saw this toy for the first time online. It is a big machine with motorcycle handles. How is this supposed to be a male stroker?

But the handle is more than a gimmick. It's how you can control the toy. And surprisingly, it's also a pretty good way of keeping the toy in place during play.

Controls

The controls might seem intimidating at first, just because of the motorcycle handle, but it's actually pretty simple. The LED screen shows you the three main functions: stroking, heating, and vibrations. You'll see a little icon light up when you're "hovering" over a certain function, and the handle just tweaks that experience. So if you see the little stroking icon, then the handle is adjusting the stroking pattern.

Something to note is that the right handle is the only one that can adjust the settings. The left handle is there for balance and ergonomics.

The controls are actually one of my favorite aspects of this stroker. It's so easy to just tweak something on the fly.

But, the handle isn't the only way to control this toy. You can just press the button on the front console and it'll tweak each setting by 1. There are 9 settings for thrusting/vibration and 2 settings for heating. And for each function, you can just leave it at 0 to turn it off entirely. Each function works independently, so you can try out different combinations to see what you like most.

The Look of it All

I'll admit, there are some sex toys out there that look more like futuristic pieces of technology. Other toys may be sleeker or smoother, but in my opinion, the MOTOX1 just has so much personality.

It's a BULKY piece of tech with gritty motorcycle handles. The screen is bright, the red coloring adds some edge, and the lines around the toy are unapologetically loud. There's so much going on and it's amazing.

Ergonomics

I was a little concerned at how this toy would be handled during play. It looks too big and bulky to hold comfortably. Thankfully, my worries went away almost immediately.

You can hold this toy at the base and it'll work just fine. But I found that I really enjoyed holding it by its handles. It kinda feels funny at first, because if you're sitting down, then your arms are in front of you holding the handles and it feels really similar to riding a bike. But using the toy in this position allows you to make adjustments during play and get a good grip on the toy. You can make micro adjustments with positioning as well. If you find a certain spot that feels good, then it's easy to position the toy to that spot.

Unboxing

I usually do an entire unboxing section in my reviews, but there's not really much to write much about here.

What you see is what you get. An automatic male stroker and its charger (USB-C). Plus an instruction manual. Or rather, an instruction piece of paper. I would have really appreciated some Chalovelo lube. But honestly, it's not a big deal. You're definitely going to need a bottle of lube anyway, so might as well invest in one before you buy this toy.

Experience: Put It Into Speed Drive

I already talked about the controls and ergonomics of this toy, so I'm going to dive into how it actually feels. That's the most important part of any sex toy. And wow, this toy feels amazing. Every session I had with this toy was mind-blowingly good.

Let's look at the texture. It starts off with some spiraled ridges. Once you push in deeper, you'll feel a big vibrating bead that presses itself into your cock. It feels amazing. All of this is happening while your cock is being warmed and thrusted upon.

And this part is pretty sweet, too. You can make the toy's entrance tighter. Tighten it up all the way and it starts to feel like a real pussy. Playing with this part of the toy along with the rest of its functions really gives you freedom to experience it in different ways. It's like a new experience every time you turn this thing on.

I found that I got the most intense orgasms with the vibration settings up high and the stroking pattern in the 4-6 range. Absolute heaven.

The variety of settings let you come up with your own fantasies, too. Do you want to feel like a girl is bouncing on your dick as fast as possible? Crank up the thrust. Wanna feel like you're getting the best head of your life from your fav pornstar? Turn down the thrusting and let that vibration/heat take over. And going from one fantasy to another is so damn easy with the handle that you're already holding.

If you get this toy and it isn't your favorite, then at least it'll be the most unique one in your collection.

Cleaning: Smooth and Breezy

Cleaning is SO easy. The toy isn't exactly prone to fingertip stains. If you get some lube on it, you can just wipe it off with a paper towel. I don't believe the toy is waterproof, so don't go throwing it in the tub.

However, the removable sleeve IS waterproof. It just might be a little tricky to take it out. I've used sex toys like this before, where you had to take out the sleeve from the console, and it was a little hard to understand that I really had to yank it out. Here's what I mean:

The sleeve is held in place by a magnet. You're supposed to pull this sleeve out to clean it. You really have to PULL, though. And there's no indication of this in the manual or marketing. Good thing you're reading this review though, right? ;p

Once the sleeve is taken out, it's super easy to clean. Just rinse it, apply some soapy water occasionally, and let it air dry.

Price: Is It Worth It?

It's no secret that I do love this toy. I will say that it's quite an investment. At the time of writing this, the toy retails for around $150. It isn't the cheapest toy on the market. Not even the cheapest automatic stroker on the market. It's significantly more affordable than other premium male strokers, though.

And that's the thing, this is a premium toy. You're paying the premium price tag for a premium experience. You can spend $50 or $100 more on the other big brand strokers, but you're not really getting more value. At least in my opinion.

Honestly, if you're excited about letting someone control your machine from another location, (if you're in a long-distance relationship or you're down to mess around with strangers) then you might want to get an automatic stroker with those features. But if you just want to have really good orgasms, then go for the MOTOX1.

I would actually recommend this toy to both beginners and sex toy vets.

Beginners, you guys are going to appreciate the affordable price point. Again, it's not cheap, but it's not absurdly expensive. It's more than fair for the premium experience you're getting, and it's actually cheaper than the famous masturbators online.

To my sex toy vets out there, you're going to appreciate the novelty of it all. That's what definitely piqued my interest at first. But past the novelty and weird design is an experience that you've never felt before. I've tried every other big name stroker out there and none of them feel like this one. Even if this doesn't end up being your favorite toy, it will be a different flavor of sex toy that you haven't tried yet. And to me, that makes it worth the investment.

What do you think? Are you gonna check this one out? Let me know in the comments and we'll talk about it!
