Packaging

Cute, glittery, solid!

This packaging is up there with the best of them. I love it when a product has a magnetic flap on the front so you can see the toy through a window rather than relying on the images on the outside.

It's also colorful, cute, and fun. I love the glitter details. Between you and me, I find the current norm of minimalism ... kind of boring. Where's your whimsy, people?! But Like A Kitten are coming in swinging. Whimsical, colorful, and an unorthodox toy shape to boot! I love an almost silly, goofy, playful approach to sex and sexuality. It's supposed to be fun!

And... OMG, the interior box is also a storage box. Absolutely brilliant stuff.

As much as I do love whimsy and glitter, sometimes it doesn't hurt to have something a little more minimalistic to hide your toys from guests and whatnot in. Contents are pretty standard: the toy, a charging cable, and the user manual. The charging cable is a good old fashioned plug. I honestly prefer these to most magnetic chargers because they stay put better. You can't really accidentally knock it loose and then come back to your bedroom very disappointed your toy didn't charge at all.

Design

Unorthodox, creative, adorable!

There is no denying that this is, indeed, a squirrel. The details on the face of it screaming are just so cute.

The tail acts as a g-spot vibrator, but it isn't big. It's perfect for a relaxing session without being a challenge. As mentioned in the pro/con list, the controls are... a little odd. You have to turn on the tail vibrations before you can turn on the mouth suction function, but at that point you can turn the vibrations off. You also can't adjust the power levels down, only up and cycle through them.

You have to turn it off if you don't want to go up and cycle. This is the case for both the vibe and the suction part. (I also think they could get somewhere with a toy that had the tail flipped around so you could use both the vibe and the air pulse part at the same time... maybe in the future!) And, since it's waterproof, you can use it anywhere. Maybe your rubber ducky needs a friend?

Also, a sidenote for my transmasc folks or anyone with bottom growth: if you are particularly blessed in that department, the opening for the air-pulse section might be too small for you. It's juuuust on the edge of it for me, but clearly, I'm still having a blast with this regardless.

Quality

Sturdy and built to last!

This toy is clearly built to last. It isn't lightweight cheap plastic; it's well designed and sturdy. It's flexible in exactly the right places, and since it's waterproof, washing it won't accidentally lead to shortening its life. The vibrations are a good frequency towards the "buzzy" side of vibrations (as opposed to "rumbly"), and the air-pulse/suction function is very strong.

Materials and care

Waterproof, body-safe silicone!

This toy is made from that lovely smooth silicone that's reminiscent of Lovense toys, which LAK says is medical-grade and phthalate-free. You love to see it! (This does mean it's only compatible with water-based lube!) It is also waterproof thanks to the self-healing charging port. Because of this, it's very easy to clean. My one teeny tiny criticism is that there are quite a few nooks and crannies in the design near the face where gunk can gather and isn't 100% completely effortless to clean. However, it's still easy and quick to clean despite this. Just get in there with a soft cloth, or in the worst case scenario, maybe a cotton swab, and you're golden.

Performance

Quiet, strong, fun!

I am a huge fan of air-pulse toys. I've gone through three (yes, THREE) Satisfyer toys in my life. So when I tell you that this air-pulse function is among the strongest I've felt, you gotta trust me. The vibrations are also great for both internal and external stimulation. As someone who doesn't get a whole lot out of most kinds of penetration alone, this toy is really kind of a swiss army knife. It's also very quiet. Not so quiet you could use it in a quiet room without anyone noticing, but you're not going to wake up your neighbors or even your roommate on the other side of the wall. Once you get the hang of the controls, it's easy and fun to use. It does only last about an hour before it needs to be charged again, so it's best for shorter sessions. Nonetheless, I highly recommend it.

Experience

Strong, just the right size!

I know I keep saying this, but it's true: the air-pulse function on this thing is strong. The vibrations are also pretty strong, and they're a lot of fun, but to me, the star of the show is the air-pulse function. The vibe is a great size to feel good without being a challenge, too. Like I said, once you get used to the controls, it's easy and fun to use. Due to how strong the air-pulse function is, there's not really much... slow build up. So if you need to get off quick, that's another bonus! The orgasm is just as intense as the air-pulse function itself, too. This toy does not quit, and it feels amazing. This toy is definitely going into my normal rotation.

Seriously, if you have $60, go get yourself one right now.

That said, I've tried to approach this as objectively as possible and really considered how I'd feel if I'd have spent my own money on this. Here's where I've landed: I've spent more on toys I didn't like nearly as much, and if I had to pay the full price to keep this toy, I would. Currently, the Screaming Squirrel is listed for $59.45 on the Like A Kitten website, and it is worth every penny in my opinion.
