Design
This wand is an Amazon purchase and is NOT marketed as a sex toy, but it is used as one by many, if not most, purchasers. It's listed as a "high frequency facial wand," although I have no idea what that means. In line with its marketing, it is designed like a medical device.
This product kind of looks like a weird electric toothbrush. Given how inexpensive it was, I definitely wasn't expecting anything fancy. I wouldn't call it sexy by any stretch of the imagination. It's a no-nonsense tool.

Quality
I wouldn't say it felt cheap, but it's not top notch quality either. It's somewhere in the middle. It's light and easy to grip, and as long as you aren't putting it through a ton of abuse it seems sturdy enough. It's plastic with conductive glass attachments. The glass feels kind of nice to touch, although would easily break if dropped - it's not Pyrex or anything.

Experience
I bought this after attending an electroplay workshop. I initially looked at violet wands, but they're really expensive for someone who just wants to try out electroplay. This seemed like a good way to experiment without dropping a ton of cash.
The actual shocks are very light. They make a good amount of noise, which gives a bit of fear or shock value. It buzzes when it's on, which makes for a feeling of anticipation. Even on high, it's just a little bit stingy. It's pretty cool to play with in the dark, because when the lights are out it glows purple and you can see the tiny shocks!
It was also great for use when blindfolded. The buzzing creates anticipation, but since the subject can't see where it is, the shock comes as a total surprise. It can be a really good way to "threaten" them by placing it near their ear without touching them.
This tool could also be a really good option for a person who can't use a stronger electroplay item due to medical conditions. Obviously, talk to a medical professional before using anything like this if you have a condition, but it's definitely safer than some of the more intense stuff out there.

Performance
Honestly, I was kind of hoping the shocks would be more powerful - maybe not quite as strong as a violet wand, but a little stingier would have been nice. At the same time, for $30, I can't exactly be upset with what I got. For an electroplay intro toy, it definitely delivered. Being able to test out a kink before investing a lot of money into the equipment is really nice. That way, if you like it, you can buy yourself a better product, and if you didn't care for it, you're only out $30 rather than $200 or more.
The other downside is that it plugs in, and the plug is quite short. Of course, you could use an extension cord, but it still limits your range of motion. If you have the person being shocked restrained, that's easy enough, but if you live in an old house like me your plugs are probably in weird places which will restrict where you can use it!
Materials and care
You don't really have to clean it since it's meant to be used on the skin only. If you do choose to use it on the genitals, which I can't personally recommend since that's not its intended purpose, you would have to clean the glass conductor parts carefully. It comes with a box for easy storage, which keeps it nice and clean between uses.
The glass tips are kind of fragile, so you'll have to be quite careful with those. If you drop one, it's probably done for! The box has foam spaces for each of them to keep them safe when storing.

Packaging
The packaging is definitely boring but practical. You can tell it's an Amazon item given the strangely worded directions. It doesn't even really have a proper name - what is a "portable high frequency?" It's not going to win any beauty pageants, that's for sure. After all, it's being sold as a health product, not a sex toy.
However, the box is sturdy (not paperboard) and closes magnetically, making it ideal to use in the long term for storage. Inside the box is a block of foam with spaces cut into it for each part, keeping it safe and padded.

Price
I'd say it was worth the price. It was only $30 and it was a great way to test out my interest in electroplay safely. It's definitely not a luxury product, but it's not a luxury price either, so I can't hold that against it. I would recommend it for newbies to electroplay, and for people who want the feeling of being shocked without the pain factor. You can always graduate to a fancier toy later on!
