Unboxing is simple and beginner-friendly—just remove the plastic wrap and pull the tab to open the sturdy plastic door. It’s an intuitive and well-thought-out presentation that adds to the overall experience. Inside the box, you’ll find your new Snug Plug 3, a small guidebook on anal play, a user manual, and a travel/storage bag. The guidebook, though it feels more like a basic manual, covers in detail the essentials of anal play, such as hygiene and safety—definitely a thoughtful inclusion for beginners. The user manual, printed on nice glossy paper, provides clear instructions on how to clean, apply lube, and properly insert your new plug, making it a valuable resource. The travel/storage bag is a nice touch, though it does feel a bit on the cheaper side. While it’s functional, it doesn’t quite match the premium quality of the plug itself.
As someone with a lot of experience using backdoor toys and a preference for larger sizes, the Snug Plug 3 ultimately felt too small for me to fully enjoy. It’s incredibly comfortable for long-term wear and far superior to the cheaper toys in my collection. In fact, I probably would’ve forgotten I was even wearing it if it weren’t for the grip handle. While it does a great job of keeping the toy secure and preventing it from getting lost, I found it a bit too wide, which caused some very slight discomfort after extended use. I used it with coconut oil, which tends to dry out fairly quickly, but I experienced no chafing or irritation, thanks to the silky-smooth silicone. It’s a noticeable upgrade compared to my other plugs. Wearing this long-term—or even sleeping with it—should be a breeze for most users. Honestly, if the grip handle were more comfortable, I’d probably forget I was even wearing it.
At $59.99, the price might seem a bit high at first glance, but it’s well worth it. Having bought cheaper toys in the past, I can confidently say they often don’t last long and are made from subpar or even questionable materials. In contrast, the Snug Plug 3 feels like it’s built to last. The premium silicone not only feels amazing but also adds to its durability. In the end, you truly get what you pay for with this product.
