My verdict
The Cake Stroker is perfect for those looking to step up their masturbation game. If you want a great manual stroker, then this could be the one for you. The best part is that you can buy this toy at local stores, like CVS. I loved the bulbous design and the internal texture. There are well-placed ridges and bumps that are extremely pronounced. You're going to feel each part of the texture against your shaft while you're inserting yourself into the toy. My favorite part was reaching the other side of the open-ended
Pros
- Open-ended design feels great.
- Shaft glides right through this toy.
- Ridges are extremely pronounced and noticeable.
- Top of the toy nicely constricts on head and shaft.
Cons
- Could be a bit easier to hold.
- Some more weight would make this toy absolutely perfect.
Design
Hello Cake designed a nifty little toy! The design is pretty attractive and discrete. The blue color pops nicely yet it doesn't scream "sex toy".
There are two bulb-shaped chambers on this toy. The larger one on the bottom features tons of ridges, and the top one features bumps to stimulate your shaft.
The Hello Cake logo is featured on the toy's "front", but you can really use this toy in any way you'd like. The open-ended design encourages creative play when stroking.
Experience
This toy feels amazing! I'm a fan of simplistic toys, (search for my maude dome review) so this toy makes for a great addition to my collection. When I first tried this thing out, I grabbed some lube and jumped in bed. I squeezed some lube out of the bottle and into the toy.
Right away, I noticed how relaxed the toy felt. I ran my lubed up fingers through the toy once or twice and it felt ready to go. After preparing myself, I inserted my shaft into the bottom of the toy (the bigger bulb).
I was shocked at how pronounced the ridges felt! I get annoyed at the fancier strokers when I can't exactly feel every bump and crevice. This happens often when toys try to do too much, or their material is too soft and everything moves out of the way.
With this toy's texture, I was able to notice every single ridge.
The next chamber was my favorite, though. Tons of bumps surrounded my shaft and constricted it. The tunnel slightly tightened. Very slightly, but it was just enough for me to notice.
My favorite part of the toy was when I had the whole toy on my shaft. The bumps surrounded my tip and stimulated it so well.
Quality
This product felt very high-quality. I'm surprised because of the low price-point and how good it felt. Something to note is that this toy kinda smelled like a Fleshlight upon opening. Which is a good thing, because Fleshlight has pretty good quality control on their hands.
Not sure why this happened, but I'm sure it has something to do with the toy's coating or protective layers. It was great, though!
Price
This toy retails for around $20. It's a huge bargain. I would recommend this toy to everyone even if you're slightly interested in it. Worst-case scenario, you're out twenty bucks.
You might not even have to pay for shipping. The toy is widely available in CVS stores across the nation. BTW, I'm a huge fan of that. We need to end the stigma around male sex toys, and this is a great step towards that.
Hello Cake delivered a high-quality toy and a very affordable price.
Packaging
The presentation was minimal but just enough. The toy came in a plastic mold, which is great! Zero damage to the toy during shipping. Included was the toy itself and a manual. Simple and to the point. I'm assuming that the lack of lube or anything else is a cost-saving measure, which I'm completely fine with.
