The CalExotics Silicone Double Rider is a striking accessory, specifically designed for double penetration. This is a rather niche area of the sex toy market – on the website of any large online sex toy retailer, you will find a multitude of product categories for dildos, vibrators and cock rings, but rarely a section dedicated solely to toys of this kind. Customers looking for this type of accessory must specifically search it out.

It is a beautifully sculpted piece. As you work your way up from the round 1.5 inch circular base, the dildo gradually slims in width, its 5.5 inch length topped off with small, almost pointed cock head design. Vein patterns run along the slightly conical shaft.

The Double Rider comes in two colours, black or bright pink. We chose the pink and found that the visually striking colour perfectly matches with the toys' cheeky design. When I first revealed it to Annie, her eyes lit up with surprise. It is an aesthetically beautiful and visually striking accessory that begs to be handled and inserted.

The Double Rider is made from quality silicone that allows some flexibility whilst retaining the rigid form needed to provide pleasure to her during intercourse, and which allows for easy cleaning after use.

The silicone used for the product allow the cock and ball rings to feel sturdy and durable. It does not however allow this part of the toy to have the flexibility and stretchability needed for it to adapt to guys with different body shapes. The cock ring has a normal girth of 3" and 5" extended. The ball ring's normal girth measures in at 4.5" and 8" extended. By comparison, the cock ring of the Dorcel Double Penetration Strap on Dildo Vibrator has a 3.7" girth, 7.4" extended, and its ball ring a 6.2" girth. 9.3" extended. Most importantly, the Dorcel's rings are flexible and stretchy enough to allow users to double up the loop for smaller, tighter fits, thus making it adaptable to a far wider range of body shapes than the Double Rider. In my case, the Double Rider's cock ring fitted perfectly however the ball ring was too large and hung a bit loosely, not giving me the tight, close fit desired.

The DP Test – does the Double Rider fulfil its potential?

The Silicone Double Rider was a fun toy to experiment with. We first used it as a stand alone dildo for foreplay purposes before I got strapped in to give it a real test. We maneuvered into a variety of DP positions – missionary and doggy-style double vaginal, missionary (cock in pussy, toy in anus), doggy-style (cock in anus, toy in pussy), before finishing with a rather adventurous cowgirl DP. The Double Rider allowed to work into these positions without too much difficulty and then to be able to sustain for as long as we wanted.

Annie reports enjoying the feeling of the slightly conical, veiny toy inside her. She preferred the feeling of it in her behind as there was some burning feeling when used in her pussy (despite us using a lot of lubricant), although this is a common problem for her when using silicone toys. She found the 5.5 inch length perfect for these needs – long enough to provide the deep sensations desired but not so long that the positions (which already lead to a lot of stretching..) became painful or difficult.

As discussed above, the cock and ball rings are not very extendable. The ball ring was too large for my shape and I could not twist it into a shape that would have provided a tight close fit to my genitals. It felt much too loose around the balls. Although I enjoyed using the toy and it gave us an great DP experience, I am convinced that a tighter fitting around the ball would have considerably improved and enhanced this experience.

The Double Rider was easy to wipe down and dry after use.

The toy came in at under $50 CA, which is a comparable price for products such as these.

Would we recommend it to others?

The Double Rider is a beautifully designed toy and allowed us to enjoy a great DP experience. The size and the moulding have been designed with this specific purpose in mind and it is a reasonably priced. The limited stretchability of the cock and ball ring means that many men will not be able to attach it as tightly and closely as they wish however. In this sense, the Double Rider cannot fully live up to its potential. We would recommend it but advise guys with larger or smaller dimensions down below to look at other models, whose cock and ball rings provide for a greater range of body shapes.
