Rantings of a Mad Woman!
♪ I've got gadgets and gizmos a-plenty. I've got whozits and whatzits galore. You want thingamabobs? I got twenty! But who cares? No big deal I want moooooore! ♪
In this case, I want better, not more. I haven't even taken Ariel into the bedroom yet and I'm already annoyed with her and sadly it's for the pettiest of reasons ><". I'll take brushing her hair with a fork any day over the petty bullshit I'm upset over lol.
Love: Remote battery is provided (CR2032).
Petty: Toy batteries are NOT (2 AAAs). Box claims remote battery is an LR44, it's NOT and I dislike misinformation.
Love: There's a band that can be used to fish her out if she travels too far into the caverns.
Petty: That it feels like a flimsy wire that's could snap/break if bent too much or pulled a little too hard.
Love: That an IPX rating is provided at all, even if it's low, as then I know how to treat the device when cleaning or using it.
Hate: That IPX4 is labeled as "waterproof" when it's actually "splash proof". It canNOT be taken into a shower or bath and cleaning should be done with a towel or cloth.
Love: She's built kind of thick and that can sometime be preferable.
Petty: The ratio of length to girth is unpleasant aesthetically in this case, and probably won't bode well later.
Pettiness aside...
Mini Summary!
Ariel's got 10 tricks a-plenty up her non-existent sleeves, 2 single vibration intensities and 8 patterns. She's very easy to manipulate, having only a single button on her waist: simply hold the button to power the device on/off (indicated by a red flashing light) and press it to continuously cycle through the settings. If that doesn't tickle your fancy or she manages to travel too far, she has a two button remote, one for power and one to cycle through the settings. She's not sun powered or one that likes to juice up, instead she uses 2 AAAs to get through her 120min working girl session, while her remote runs on a CR2032 for an undisclosed time. Regardless of all that, charge time is negligible so long as spares are on standby. Unfortunately, she's now land bound and no longer capable of going Under the Sea as she's IPX4 rated. She can handle a light splash now and then but can't even dip her newfound toes back in the water or take a proper shower!
Unlike her other CamToyz friends she's not found on mypleasure.com, she's found on kamasutrasupply.com for around $34.17.
Packaging!

First things first, I like the iridescent look of it... sometimes the basic girly need for shiny sparkly things does surface lol. I still feel I have more of an affinity for gradient colors though, just feels calmer, more pleasant to look at long term and a bit more elegant and simplistic. The overall information and nature is similar to what CamToyz did for their Majestic line: a pic on the front, some feature info on one side, a name on the other and some Spanglish on the back... A major difference being that they skipped the measurements on the back with this one.
Similar to Tifany's box, it's missing the hanger tab and it shares a run time on the side, both of which are awesome things that are high on the list of things I like about it. The irritation with the IPX rating rears its ugly head once again... more so than the irritation regarding the botchery on Tifany's box... On this one they claim that IPX4 is "waterproof"... it's NOT... but I digress as it's becoming a moot point.
I find that with the Lolly collection box design I have the same indifference of sexual comfort and could find myself walking up to the counter with it either on purpose or due to distracted reading. This one in particular though I'd shove right back on the shelf out of pettiness and the lacking desire for a bullet like it when I have seemingly better ones in my collection already.
What's in the Box?!

Inside the package: The toy itself, a remote, a remote battery (CR2032), an a manual.
Love when a company provides a battery for something, but they only did it half way here so make sure to have AAAs on hand so the product can be used almost immediately (after washing of course). Usual disappointment is felt in the lack of a storage/travel pouch, one day I'll get over that, but it's not likely to be soon lol. Appreciate that there is some helpful information provided on the box itself and on the single sheet manual.
Battery Change (Remote)

To change the battery on the remote simply slide the golden cover towards the edge of the device and pop it off.
Battery Change (Device)

To change the battery of the device screw the golden base to the left and lift off, place the batteries in with the depicted signs' end face up and replace the cap.
How Did It Do?!

Information and Operation: To access Ariel's 10 settings simply hold the button to power her on/off and then press it to continuously cycle through the settings. If fully inserted into the desired area, use the included remote! To do so hold the power button on the remote to sync the two up and use the ~ button to cycle through the settings.
How Did It Feel?!: Had to pop batteries out of mouse to use, and using while typing. Though I don't mind it on an actual male, I find the short and overly girthy nature of this bullet kind of putting. I feel it has a higher chance of escaping than a thinner one than one sit and fit more comfortably. In fact, if the gold part is left hanging out and the device is not being held in place it actually vibrates itself right on out, where thinner bullets stay in. Already super grateful for the remote feature since the buttons are gone lol. The initial intensity sounds loud and is quite buzzy, but doesn't have a feel that matches. The second vibration isn't much to write home about either, and is a rather small step up from the first. I find it very weird that it only has two single vibrations and 8 patterns. Being a huge hater of patterns, I'm not a fan lol. None of the patterns when I cycled through caught my attention enough to linger and the vibrations weren't enough to keep me interested either.
Opinion: Just like the toy itself, my interest in it is short. Nothing about this toy outside of the remote feature is enticing to me in any sense. The name is weird, the look is more off-putting than inviting, the design seems eh, the patterns all suck and the vibrations are a weak buzzy feel that would do better for external stimulation than internal but I don't care enough to come back to it for that when I have waaaay better options. Won't be coming back to this one at all.
