Design
My excitement was fully piqued when I opened this toy, as its luxury presentation pulled me in immediately. The color, branding, and unboxing immediately suggested I had a luxe product on my hands. Unfortunately, the first-class experience ended here. I can’t begin to tell you what an absolute bummer it was to find something with a fantastic design that just… didn’t work.
Deia’s The Couple two-in-one bullet and G-spot massager takes two basic toys and morphs them into one unreliable and fully unnecessary option. Ultimately, the thing you want the most from a sex toy is for it to work properly, so I can’t really recommend the design of this vibe at all.

Quality
The unboxing experience made me immediately think the product would be quality, but I immediately noticed a couple of red flags. For one, the product doesn’t smell great, which is always a problem with low-quality silicone toys. In addition, the vibe is loud, takes forever to charge, and doesn’t feel full in your hands (probably due to the hollow G-spot massager inside which the bullet fits). It also doesn’t work properly. But more on its performance later.

Experience
The vibration was strong… as long as I was able to keep it working. Sadly, after charging, whenever I removed the G-spot covering, the bullet ceased to vibrate. What’s more, the button at the bottom of the vibe wouldn’t turn the product off after my original use, so I had to just leave it on until it eventually died. Not great. 😒
When I tried to use it again, it was finicky at best about turning on, off, and continuing to vibrate (despite clear instructions on how to use it). Call me old fashioned, but I like a vibrator that does what I tell it to. And this product was just all over the place.

Performance
There isn’t much more to be said for the performance of a toy that offers a two-in-one experience and can’t get either one right. The strong smell made me hesitant to use the G-spot massager internally, and the bullet didn’t work reliably unless the massager was locked on. I was pretty disappointed, given the fact that this company obviously spent a good deal of money on the look and design of the product’s packaging but not on the product itself.

Materials and care
Here’s about the best thing I can say for the Deia Couple: I loved the idea that it came with its own charging stand. Often, magnetic chargers are difficult to keep on track with the toy itself, making it hard to charge your product and walk away. Putting it on the charging stand made the vibe look pretty and charged it easily. But maybe this tech isn’t quite ready (at least for Deia) because the charge was super unreliable.
As far as vibrators go, it was easy to clean, but washing with antibacterial soap didn’t take away the strong scent I noticed upon unboxing, which I really hated. The instructions give a non-committal description of its “body-safe silicone,” which basically told me nothing in terms of what materials were used so I wound up feeling unsure of the safety of this product.

Packaging
The unboxing experience definitely made the product feel more luxurious than it was. Everything was branded and covered in that same gorgeous navy color of the vibrator itself. However, this doesn’t make up for the product not working well (naturally).
At first, I was impressed by the instruction material, which was longer than some booklets I tend to see and focused on the specific product in question. However, upon closer inspection, I noticed it was very heteronormative and focused on couple play only. It featured only masculine-looking people controlling the vibe and using it on feminine-looking people in a way that felt almost pointed. But maybe it was just me…

Price
I probably feel strongest about this portion of the review: Deia’s The Couple is certainly NOT worth the price! It retails for $165 in stores, and while you may be able to find it for less online, it’s going to be a much better deal to get a G-spot vibe and a bullet that both work properly, rather than going for this flashy option that doesn’t offer anything special.
