There's a lot to say about this wand, but I'll start by talking about its design.
I don't really like it when wands are too clunky or too hard to hold. It's a hot take, but most wands aren't easy to hold. The stick part of it is too straight or it just feels like it's unbalanced. I don't feel any of that with the DOXY Die Cast R. Not to say that it's the easiest thing to hold in the world, because it's not. It feels heavy after some use. The trade-off is that this thing's incredibly powerful, so I think it's worth it.
The handle on this wand is shaped nicely. It contours to your hand. You can see how the stick fattens up as it approaches the tip, and I really like that.
The buttons are so fucking big, too. It's hard to miss them during play. It's easy to adjust the intensity of the vibrations on the fly.
The actual tip itself is just the right size. Not too big, not too small. You can really get that pinpointed pleasure if you only use the tippy tip of the toy. But if you want more broad, shockwave-y stimulation, then just press the whole thing on yourself.
You can barely see it in photos, but there's also a nice glittery look to the whole thing, which is so cute! It makes me smile.
And the toy's design is definitely passable for a back massager. Not that you have to be ashamed about owning sex toys, but you can leave this out on your bedside drawer and nobody will bat an eye at it.
This thing is strong. Like really strong. I got a ton of good vibrations from the toy's tip. It was easy to just hold it down there and let it do its thing.
Like I said, the toy is really strong. I just wish that there were some more lowkey settings for partnered play or use during foreplay. I put the toy at its lowest setting in this video and it's still going off like a jackhammer.
But when I do want to get jackhammered like there's no tomorrow? Then I'm reaching for this toy.
I know a lot of girls hate when they get buzzes instead of vibrations, but I didn't get any of that here. I just got nice, deep vibrations that really made me feel good.
And it was so nice to not have to use a cord during play. I was able to try out different positions and angles on myself with the wand.
My orgasms were really intense with this toy, too.
Oh–and this makes for a killer back massager.

For a toy at this price (we'll get to that later), I was expecting a wand of the highest-quality. I'm glad to have received that!
I see people online complaining about the wand's durability but I really see no problem with it.
The toy is surviving and thriving with me.
This baby retails for $249.99–Crazy, I know.
Is it worth it?
Yes... and no.
If you're looking for luxury, then yes. If you just want to orgasm a bunch of times, then there are cheaper options. But, wow, this thing is a really fun time. I would probably buy it personally because of how expansive my collection already is and how different this toy is from every other one.

This toy performed great! I never had any problems with charging, vibrating, or anything else.

Upon arrival, you're greeted with a pretty minimalist box. There's not much going on here. For the price, I kinda wish that some cleaning cloth was included or like some stickers, I don't know.

The tip of the toy collects dust like a dust bunny trying to get bigger. Just make sure to wipe it down before/after every use and you'll be fine, though.
