My verdict

Sohimi’s Double Sided Strap-On is a product that proves the theory of “Getting what you paid for.” If you are looking for a product that will get the job done with a little bit of fun, or maybe you want this cheaper alternative while you save up money for a higher quality (and more expensive) product, I’d recommend this product. Otherwise, I would advise looking elsewhere. That’s not to say the Double Sided Strap-On isn’t fun, me and my boyfriend were able to utilize all parts of this toy in many ways, but that’s more of an affect of it being a manual tool with detachable parts and us being willing to put in a little bit of elbow grease to make it work for us. If you’re or the person you’re buying it for aren’t willing to do that, start saving up. If you are, buy it now with the major discount and you’ll get some bang for your buck!

Design

In the advertising and descriptions of the Double Sided Strap On, it includes no measurement of how long the harness itself is. My partner and I found this to be a problem because even though it’s adjustable, we had to use a belt extender to even use the product. If you’re plus-sized, I’d look elsewhere for quality products made to be our size.

The 3 () are attachable to specific spots on the harness, and are unfortunately, not interchangeable with each other. The anal dildo measures at 3.94 inches, the vaginal dildo measures at 5.32 inches, and the penetration dildo measures the largest at 6.89 inches! Perfect for both your partner and your partner’s enjoyment.

This toy can not only be used for pleasuring your person of choice, but since the pieces are detachable, they’re also perfect to use independently. Not only that, but since they all have bases, they’re perfectly save to use for solo an*l play!

The silicone dildos are perfectly fine to use in any wet environment and are fine to use in your tub, though I’d make sure to properly take care of the buttons that attach to the back to make sure they don’t rust over time. The silicone also means that you can boil to clean to promote longevity!

The harness itself, though is mostly leatherette, has textile elements that need proper washing instead of a simple wipe down since it will absorb liquid. Though constant upkeep isn’t required, I’d use common sense to promote the longevity and safety of your product when considering cleaning.

The texture of the dildo’s are smooth, silky silicone, though I will say that they are more dense and less flexible than many dildos, but I suppose that’s a smart design decision that enhances longevity and how intense you can be.

The harness texture is leather like, stiff and strong. This product will not fall apart, though the strap is prone to being easily undone, but it may be because of how my partner and I had to adjust it to even properly use it. We also found that it sticks to your skin a lot, and can cause some uncomfortable chafing, especially with our body types. If you’re skinny, this product is great! If you’re not, look elsewhere.

Experience

When we first bought the product, we were aware it probably won’t fit us perfectly. Toys, and generally anything that’s to be used and bought by the public, usually isn’t meant for fat bodies. This is a problem all through out our modern day, and this toy isn’t an exception. We had low expectations, and already planned to use a belt extender. Especially at the price we bought it at, we didn’t expect much. It was a smart decision not to get our hopes up.

Though the toy works at a functional level, it is not what we consider a quality product, but rather something to get us by.

The dildos are detachable, but not interchangeable. This allows for a basic amount of personalization to the product.

The harness is adjustable, though not a substantial amount where I’d be blown away, and if you have a belly, it’ll be placed particularly low on your body, which can feel strange and stiff while you’re using it. This is especially true because of the texture of the product.

Price

The product is exactly what you pay for. We bought the toy at a discount from the original price ($65.99) at around $25.99. If you catch the product at the right time with the right discount, acknowledge the discount price meets the quality level better than the original price, I’d buy it with low expectations.

Performance

The strap has fallen apart on us many times before from the buckle, and it can be extremely loose to the point where we have lost our patience during intimate times. It’s an average product, and you have to be able to make of what you can with it.

I expect it to last a long time because of how sturdy the product it is, but when we have more money, my partner and I will be looking for better alternatives. If anything, the dil’dos are the best part of the product because of how many ways you can use the product.

Materials and care

Fabric will always be a bit tougher to clean, but a little bit of handwashing never hurt anyone. Just know that since it’s a textile, it’ll take more effort. The () are made of silicone, and are therefore super easy to clean! Since they’re just pure silicone, you can boil them to clean them completely too! It also helps that a large part of the strap is leatherette, which is just a simple matter of wiping clean.

If remote control is the main reason you would like the Vortex P, I would advice against it. Not only this, but if working on all fronts, she lasts 15 minutes at most, and dies without warning. We have had this dim a few movements, but luckily the toy’s flexibility and comfortable fit makes a good fit for a reliable dildo instead. Although it is more fit for solo play, I have found that using it on someone else as a dildo can be an endless source of fun because of how sensitive the buttons are, but I can understand how that could be a downside for others.
