Heavy Hitters Premium Silicone Butt Plug Review

Design

Design-wise, you have a bullet-shaped butt plug with a T-bar base; the outer skin of the plug is body-safe silicone. This makes the overall product safe for extended use. The neck and the T base are wide enough to feel sturdy, so that I have never been worried that the plug will get lost. The bullet shape makes insertion of even the largest of the plugs easy and comfortable. The plugs come in four sizes: small, medium, large, and x-large. I own all but the small one. They are all similar in design, just larger and heavier as you go up.

The weight behind these plugs is the selling point for me. It's not enough weight to make the plug uncomfortable, or to feel like it's getting pulled out, but just enough to remind you that the plug is there and give your pelvic floor muscles a bit of a work out at the same time.

These plugs are extremely comfortable. I can sit comfortably for extended periods of time with the TX plug and not feel any discomfort. I can wear the plug under clothes and be active with it with no problems. Because of the T-bar base, no one will notice you are wearing the plug at all. The reasonably long neck puts the bulb of the plug in the right place or comfortable extended wear.

Quality

I am always a bit dubious when I see the word "premium" attached to sex toys, because usually it means cheap but expensive. This is not the case with Heavy Hitters plugs. Overall, the product has really held up. I've used the plugs frequently for over six months and not had any issues. Your main quality concern with a butt plug will be that the neck and the base remain sturdy, and so far this has been the case. I can't find any fault with the quality of these plugs at all.

Experience

The first plug that I bought was the XL. I have to admit this was a mistake because the XL was larger than I imagined, even though the measurements were available. Because of jumping into the XL size I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy the plugs. I did, however, decide to give the toys a second chance, buying the medium and the large plug.

Depending on your level of experience and how big you like to go, the medium plug at 1.5" wide and about 2" bulb length is very easy to take and a good starting point if you have used other plugs. I found the medium to be a bit small for my taste and quickly sized up to the Large plug. At 1.8" wide and about 3.5 inches for the bulb, the large plug is quite nice. Eventually, I went back to the XL, and I must say, I LOVE this plug now, it's easily my favorite butt plug ever. I do still occasionally use the other two, but the XL gets used several times a week at least. I'm actually wearing it now as I type this article.

I've worn this plug while doing pretty much everything you can imagine. Working from home, cleaning the house, relaxing, masturbating, I have even used the plug while walking on the treadmill. It's the perfect plug for extended wear and adds a little fun to everything.

Materials and care

The outside of the plug is smooth silicone. That makes it body safe, and very easy to clean. The plug washes up easily with warm water and soap. Because it's smooth clean up is a breeze. Normally, I just use soap and water; occasionally, I will give it a spray down with anti-bacterial toy spray.

Storage is likewise easy. I store it in a cupboard with my other sex toys.

Packaging

Packaging was the only area I was a little disappointed in for this product. The box is a laminated cardboard box, which makes it hard to recycle and easy to cut yourself while opening. I dislike the laminated cardboard because I once cut myself very badly opening a box. Also, the box is heavily branded as a sex toy, so trying to recycle the box is like putting a strobe light in your recycling container. I also wasn't fond of the clear plastic insert for similar reasons. (Personally, I prefer we eliminate as much plastic as possible.) The packaging was about 3 times as large as what was required. While the packaging in no way detracts from the overall product, it would be nice for companies to reduce the wasteful packaging.

Price

This plug is 100% worth the cost. I now own three of the plugs!
