My verdict

Je Joue's Amour is certainly unique in my collection not only because of its design but because of how it left me feeling when I finished testing it! >.<" It has the capability and range to satisfy beginners and power seekers with its 5 intensities. Not only can it satisfy single vibe lovers with that amount but it can super satisfy pattern lovers with the 6 other patterns and the fact that each of them can go from 1 to 5 as well! It can be used in a variety of ways, one being with a partner playfully gliding it along your body to tease you with! ;P It's a toy that's after your own heart. Keep in mind though, it may leave you feeling tingly in ways you may dislike. I'm certainly intrigued by it enough that I think I'd keep coming back! I've been ♪ Shocked through the heart and Armour's to blaame ♫! (Sorry, I had to... )

Pros

35 vibration settings - 1 single and 6 pattern vibrations with 5 intensities each!
Travel Lock feature for those that want to avoid accidents in unexpected storage/travel situations!
Beginner friendly with a range of intensity and patterns that should please experienced users too!
Box is not only aesthetically pleasing but can easily serve as storage/travel container as well!
Operation may be confusing at first but oddly makes sense after doing it right once or twice.

Cons

No Official IPX rating provided. Claims to be "100% Waterproof," please use with caution near water.
No storage/travel pouch included.
Quite a bit of a dust collector.
No manual included in the box.
Some users may dislike the tingly feelings in fingers/hands while in use.
Some users may dislike the tingly/vaguely numb feeling down below.
Some users may dislike the "aftershock" feelings.

Mini Summary!

I never knew that if a bullet had wings they would come in the shape of a heart, but here we are! Je Joue's Amour attempts to be a toy that aims to capture your heart, whether it hits the target or misses by a mile has yet to be determined by this particular user... at least at this stage of the written portion of the review. Watching its heart shaped appendage react to each setting is certainly an interesting site to behold, like watching a caffeinated manta-ray swim through the ocean >.<". I'm absolutely delighted to know if it's going to tingle things other than my fingers!

The Amour comes jam packed with 35 heart racing settings, 1 single vibration and 6 patterns that each have the ability to increase in intensity up to 5 times. To access these settings is somewhat unusual but oddly sensical: the + button is held in order to power the device on and pressed to increase the intensity; the ~ button is pressed to continuously cycle through the patterns available; and the - button is pressed to decrease the intensity and held to power the device off. This heart will beat for 1.5hrs, rest for 1hr and uses a micro USB to charge up. There is unfortunately no guarantee that it can handle oceans of tears as it has NO official IPX rating of any sort.... instead it simply claims to be "100% waterproof". I advise extreme caution near bodies of water, as this heart may not be able to full recover if drowned.

If you're interested in picking one up, it's available in two colors, Emerald Green and Pale Rosette, for $65 on Je Joue's site!

The Manual!

As promised, here is the link to the instruction manual if anyone has a need for it: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0125/2157/0363/files/Je_Joue_Amour_Manual_1.pdf?v=1675680622

Packaging!

I LOVE this packaging! The coloring, the aesthetic, the way it opens and the overall simplicity and elegance are just a wonder to behold. Though I'm still not super comfortable with the fact that the toy is on full display, I will say that it has a weird enough appeal that I could almost convince myself that it's an overly packaged, oddly shaped and slightly obnoxious pen of sorts... if "bullet vibrator" wasn't written across it in fancy lettering >.<". I still don't fully understand the feather aesthetic for a heart shaped toy, unless it's a "this will make your heart soar" kind of situation or that it feels like being tickled by feather when lightly drawn along your skin... regardless I find it to be stunning. ♥

I love how the box opens up, with its simplistic ribbon handle and its snug slide out of the outer shell. It's potentially my 2nd favorite style of box, after the magnetic book style but before the style Tracy's Dog used for Swirlii >.<". The plastic insert is a bit of a pain to get out and there's quite a lot of space for the catalog and charger to float about in the bottom. In my opinion, the overall packaging could have potentially been smaller, an insert could have been made in the plastic for the charger and the catalog could have simply laid on top.

What's in the Box?!

Inside the package: The toy itself, a micro USB charger and a catalog.

Though the packaging itself serves as an instruction manual, it would have been nice to see one of those in there over a catalog of other toys. The catalog feels almost unnecessary in regards to the users that ordered the toy from Je Joue's site to begin with, as the other toys available would have already been perused before deciding on this one. That being said, I find the folding of the catalog to be intriguing and amusing in the way that it opens since it's not like a normal page turning situation, but an unfolding pamphlet of sorts which is quite unique among the toys in my collection.

I really really really really.... insert a LOT more really's.... wish this would have come with a storage/travel pouch Though I am not opposed and will more than likely store this in the box when not in use, as it justifies me hoarding the exquisite art piece that it is, I am saddened at the thought of potentially packing and taking this toy anywhere else due to its fatal attraction to dust and such. I feel at this point in my collection that I may have to just start a damn business of my own selling hand crafted storage/travel bags.... A life of keeping toys in their original packaging or deciding to be cheap and use sandwich baggies can each be sad in their own ways... >.<".

How To Charge It!

The base of the toy has a cover with a missing chunk the size of a fingernail that you can dig into and pry up. The inner side of the panel has a protrusion on it that inserts into the charger hole that's intended to keep it safe from water. Please make sure this is in tight and secure before washing or using in a wet situation.

Travel Lock!

Operation: To de/activate the feature simply hold the + and - buttons at the same time until the red light above the + comes on for a moment.

Opinion: The travel lock feature is a delightful add-on to toys that utilize the "press to power on/off" method, as it has a high potential to be easily bumped in storage/travel situations. In the case of this toy... it seems to be a bit redundant. The device is powered on/off by holding the + or - button for seconds which in and of itself is a "travel lock" in most situations. Personally, I feel the overkill of this particular travel lock feature would only be useful in a situation where it was absolutely squished up against something with no possible wiggle room of any sort, as only that type of situation would have a high potential of elongated contact with any buttons. Storage will most likely be in the original packaging for the time being, but traveling situations would involve a loose enough packing that the genuine travel lock feature would be unnecessary. Granted, I could be proven wrong in future, in which case I will probably regret my current opinion and apologize into the ether in some for or another about my comments >.<".

How Did It Do?!

Information and Operation: To power the device on simply hold the + button on top until the toy begins to vibrate, then press the + to increase the intensity of the toy from 1 - 5. To continuously cycle through the available patterns (1 single vibration and 6 patterns) simple press the ~ button in the middle. To decrease the intensity from 5-1 simply press the - button on bottom, or power the device off by holding the - button until the toy quits vibrating.

How Did It Feel?!: So this one came with no charge at all it seems, so I ended up fully charging it before making any videos. The test is on whatever charge is left after fudging around with it for those, which should almost be full. Unlike the Sexy Pot which could be and was tested with underwear and shorts fully on, this one seems to need some room to do its thing... So if you're looking for toys you can start the party with while fully dressed down there keep walking.

Not going to lie, the design makes it a little confusing for my to position it at the moment for the best results. That being said, just gliding it along the thighs and close to naughtier areas is intriguingly flirtatious and enjoyable even on the lowest setting. Cupping the area provides an enjoyable sensation with the bullet being against the clit and the heart masking the opening; framing the clit with the divot in the heart is enjoyable; framing an edge of the heart between the clit lips is quite lovely; and gliding the bullet tip from the base of the opening to the divot framing the clit is enjoyable. If you find or already know more ways to enjoy it than those or flirtatious tickling, share in the comments... >.<"

  • Initial setting is best for flirtatious gliding and a nice slooow burn tease. Beginner friendly, not for power/intensity lovers. Is almost as quiet as Sexy Pot's initial setting, only louder because it's external. Essentially whisper quiet.

  • Second setting kicks things up a little bit for a spicy but still slow burn. Still not for power lovers. Around the same volume as Sexy Pot's second setting, smaller motor sound though.

  • Third setting would be my preferred starting point for revving things up quicker. Will note the way I'm holding it at the moment has some fingers feeling tingly if I leave them against it. Another note is the off putting flapping noise it makes if held a certain way while on this speed. Still not for power seekers. About the volume of a distant cicada.

  • Hello 4th setting! That's a bit of a lip biter and one I'd come back to for sure... May meet low end for power seekers. Not really any louder than the 3rd setting.

  • 5th setting is a sheet gripper that seems it would satisfy a power seeker. Only a smidge louder than 3.

In hindsight, should've probably went through the patterns an provided an insight on them but 4th and 5th intensities resulted in a game over finish >.<". Patterns aren't my cup of tea anyway, so I'll leave those for the ones that love them to explore!

Something to note: My fingers feel tingly and my nether region as well as other parts of my body are experiencing cool little aftershocks which are oddly fun, sporadic, unique and strange. Would compare it to a static shock or licking a battery without the painful electric part... just the feeling of the jolt it's so weirdly funny. It's also lightly tingly down there. >.<"

Would I use it again? Yes! It was more than capable of getting the job done in multiple ways; it seems like it would be fun to use with a partner and Pillow Talk's Racy set >.<"; and not going to lie, I kind of want to know if I can cause these little shocks again. I can't get over them!
