Lelo F2S: Vibrating Stroker and Stamina Trainer

Design

The LELO F2S is a fairly simple device but I think that really works in it's favor. The outer shell is black aluminum and the silicon color I got is a bright, almost neon, red. There is also a blue/teal version if that's more your speed. The aluminum is one piece, but instead of being rounded, it has bends to add some extra grip during use. There is also a control panel built into the side which has the increase/decrease speed and connect and change pattern buttons. It's unfortunately a little difficult to see these buttons in the picture below due to the bright red color, but they are raised slightly for a tactile feel and quite clicky. On one end there is also a tiny flap that covers the DC pin charging port. The interior of the device is all silicone with vertical wavy "ribs", and the side with the control panel is thinner than the opposite side which contains the actual vibration motors. The whole device is actually pretty short, at just a little over 4 inches long, and it has a diameter of a little over 3 inches. The insertable dimensions listed by LELO are 1.33 in x 1.78 in. Overall it's a very nicely designed toy, and between the aluminum and silicone it feels very high quality.

Experience

I'll start of this section by saying that this is a very different toy than something like a Fleshlight. It doesn't have anywhere near that level of texture, and if you just want a basic vibrating stroker there are other options that will do that for cheaper. That doesn't detract from this being a great stroker in it's own right however! The silicone used is extremely soft and actually feels very nice, and with the vibrations it makes for a great experience. The silicone is sort of suspended internally so that it can stretch to accommodate at least a small range of different sizes. The thicker side I mentioned before can also be pushed into the device which will increase the pressure/contact of the vibration motors. You definitely need a decent amount of lube to even slide into the device, and as someone on the more girthy side it is a little tight but not uncomfortable with enough lube. Keep in mind that because this is an open ended device you'll end up needing a bit extra lube than usual because it will dry out with air exposure. You might think that the small size means the stimulation is limited, but I honestly didn't feel like it detracted from the experience at all. The lightweight and compact design makes it easier to use for a longer time or even to travel with.

Comparing this to something like the Lovense Gush, there are pros and cons. I generally like it better because it actually works as a stroker and the size worked well for me, but you absolutely need lube for it to work. The Gush on the other hand has flaps that allow you to wrap it around your penis without need lube and its even smaller, so it works better for hands off edging play.

Performance

Now onto the actual vibrations! There are two vibration motors spaced equally on the interior of the device and you can feel the round contact plates under the silicone easily with your fingers. My initial impression was that the motors were a little weak, but as you ramp up the speed they can actually get pretty intense. You can switch patterns with the button on the device itself, but the app functionality is where you can customize things a lot more. The app doesn't have nearly as much customizability as other toy maker's offerings, but it's still decent and there are some very unique features instead. You can independently control both motors patterns and speed/strength, or have them paired and use the pre-made combo patterns. The best feature for me was actually the AI mode where the sensor data from the toy is (securely) sent back to the app and it can actually respond to your movements, whether that is stroking or kegels. It dynamically changes the vibration strength and speed in response which makes for a very interesting experience. I also found that this ramped up the vibration intensity compared to other patterns and really increased stimulation. Personally that was my favorite feature.

It also includes both a stamina trainer and basic kegel training mode. The kegel exercises don't really require the device to do, but you do need the device connected to get into that part of the app. The stamina training is more interesting, its self guided but has 9 levels of intensity and a stopwatch that lets you keep track of how long and how many levels you last through each time. For people that want to last longer with a partner (or for solo play) this is a unique feature that I haven't seen in any other smart toy.

Materials and care

As I've mentioned before the exterior of this device is just aluminum and silicone, which makes it sturdy and very easy to clean. You do have to be careful with lube choices though, because it is only compatible with water-based options. Silicone and hybrid lubes will very likely cause damage. As this is an open ended toy, it's very easy to rinse off after use with a gentle antibacterial soap or toy cleaner. You should dry it thoroughly after with a soft towel and let it air dry for a little while to make sure that no extra moisture is retained in the grooves or silicone ribs on the inside. I generally found it MUCH easier to clean than TPE toys like a Fleshlight. It unfortunately doesn't come with a storage pouch, something I really would have liked to see at this price point, especially because they recommend keeping it out of direct sunlight. The box it comes in is fairly compact, so while it doesn't come with a carrying pouch you could easily just store it back in the box.

Packaging

The unboxing experience was simple but high quality. The actual box was covered in a dark black paper/cloth bag that obscured anything illicit, and once that was off it reveals a simple black box with a nice plastic window on the front showing off the toy. Opening that up revealed the toy, a charging cable with a pin, a couple lube packets which are very appreciated, and some paperwork. It's not the most premium packaging or reveal, but the toy itself is so durable and simple that I think it fits.

Price

I have to say, the retail price of $199 is really pushing it for a toy like this, though it's frequently on sale for closer to $170 on the LELO website and elsewhere online. While I really like it, I think a little cheaper would make it easier to recommend.
