Lovense Ambi Review: Small but Mighty Vibes

Design

Its beautiful and pink, very playful looking. The small size is great and I love the color.

Quality

It feels sturdy and you can tell it's good quality, The body safe silicone feels nice and smooth on your skin. It feels so nice with some water based lubricant, I don't suggest sing silicone lube with silicone toys because it will break down the silicone toy. It has good angles to get different amounts of stimulation from. It fits snugly in your hand. I like the shape of it although it's hard to get it to stand up in the charger to charge so I usually just make sure it's connected to the magnetic attachments and put it on its side to charge, checking the light is on so I know it's working. The rounded head of it feels great and the pointed end gets less intense vibrations if you're overly sensitive or like a weaker vibration.

Experience

Amazing strong vibrations that get stronger each time you press the button. It has a nice rumbly vibration that feels amazing. I was surlised at how strong it is for the small size of it. It has 3 vibration levels and 5 different patterns. When you use it with the Lovense app you can adjust the strengths of the vibration and make more patterns that you can save and reuse later, or whoever you give control of your toy can do that even from a long distance away. If you're a cam girl you can use it in your shows and have it respond to tips so that when viewers give you tokens it will vibrate giving your audience control of your toy. All the Lovense toys work like this.

It is small and compact and small enough to use during sex although it is a bit bigger than a bullet style vibrator it is still pretty easy to make it work. The bottom stem that sits in the charger fits comfortably in your hand allowing you to put the rounded or pointed end over your clit for use to feel the strong vibrations. The vibrations start out feeling rumble and get more buzzy with each level as you turn it up. The stem that you hold in your hand doesn't carry strong vibrations into your hand so it is comfortable to hold and use.

Performance

It was really powerful. It gets louder and the noise increases with each level that increases each time you press the button, the button is on the base of the stem that you hold, the bit that goes in the charger and its easy to use and press when you are using it. I guess its not overly noisy but I think you could hear it in the next room. Compared to some toys it is fairly quiet. It responds well to the app if someone else is controlling it or you are in a cam show although if you want to use it in a cam show I recommend getting the Bluetooth USB stick to make it easier to set up.

You can set it up with your phone but it's complicated and you need to download a Lovense browser or extension and use OBS with it. It took me 4 hours to set up and the toys didn't respond to tips as they are meant to so I will be getting the USB stick from Lovense. The battery lasts about an hour, that's my guess I didn't time it. It didn't take long to charge. When you charge it the light goes off when it's fully charged. When you use the app it tells you how much percentage of battery each toy has that's connected. It's easy to connect toys to the app they just have to be turned on and near your phone.

The Lovense Ambi does deliver on its promise and leaves me feeling satisfied.

Materials and care

The silicone feels great on my skin. Its body safe, hypoallergenic and easy to clean. I think its waterproof but to be safe I don't submerse it i just wash it under the tap and use dishwashing liquid as the soap to clean it. As I mentioned only use water based lube with this toy. Store it in a bag or drawer. I have heard you should store toys not touching but I had mind stored in a bag with other high quality silicone toys and it is fine. Do not allow any toys to touch jelly toys, but you shouldn't use them in the first place as they are not body safe and have dangerous chemicals. This toy is body safe silicone and has nine of those nasty ingredients. You can also get toy cleaning wipes or spray to give them a quick clean anywhere. This is really handy to get them clean to use in a rush. You can then use water to clean them when you have access to a sink. Or you can use toy cleaning spray with a clean wet cloth to give them a quick clean in a hurry.

Packaging

It has been a while since I saw the packaging but I remember it has a premium feel to it. It felt premium unboxing it, the packaging was a box with Lovense branding on it. Everything had its own spot and there was a pamphlet with information on it or a link to the info. Unfortunately I no longer have the box to show a photo of it.

Price

Was it worth the price?

It was about $80 Australian dollars at a sex shop on clearance at the time so I got a bargain for it. I think its usually about $60USD. I would pay that again and was happy to get mine on sale. They mark up toys a bit in Australia. But Lovense is a good brand with great features like the app and the ability to incorporate it into cam shows. That really sets Lovense apart from other toy companies. Postage to Australia from the US is expensive so it was lucky I found the toy on special near where I live. It's the cheapest toy in the Lovense range so a good toy to get started with Lovense toys and the Lovense app. I would recommend it to others and if you are on a budget it is a good option for you to try out Lovense toys as this is the cheapest one of their range of Bluetooth enabled toys.
