Packaging
Sturdy, protective, thoughtful!
Lovense really does have their packaging down; they know what they're doing, and they're doing it well. This is now the third Lovense toy I've had the pleasure of unboxing and getting to play with, and every time I'm impressed by how sturdy and protective the packaging is. The cardboard material is thick and heavy, and the form-fitting foam on the inside makes sure the toy isn't just rattling around in there. It's also unmistakably a Lovense toy.
Inside, you get the toy, a charger, the user manual, a storage bag, and an extra magnet clip! I love love love when toys come with storage bags, and the extra magnet clip is extremely thoughtful. It's pretty small and despite the fact the magnet is very strong, I can see it easily getting lost.

Design
Lovense's smooth silicone
I commend whoever did the design for this toy, because it is the perfect size to nestle right against you and stay put. I have a little bit of a unique situation being transmasc and having bottom growth, but I'm happy to report that the toy played quite nicely with my situation. I was a little afraid it wouldn't given the convex shape of the contact side of the toy. It also feels amazing; it's that classic Lovense silicone, and there aren't any harsh edges or annoying seams in the assembly that make long-term wear uncomfortable.

Normally I would mention that the Ferri only has three levels of intensity with the manual control before it cycles through vibration patterns as a negative. However, in this case, I don't think it really matters. Most users are going to be using it with the app in the first place and may not even ever use the manual controls. Also, the magnetic charger is one that's going to stay put even if you accidentally bump it, which I appreciate. There's nothing worse than thinking you're charging your toy only for you to come back and find it disconnected.
Quality
Solid, sturdy, lightweight!
Normally I like it when a toy feels a little heavy for its size. For me, that's an indicator it's solid and well-designed. While the Ferri does still feel solid and well-designed, it is lightweight, which is a good thing. Many people aren't going to have anything more than panties holding it up, and if it was too heavy, it might just slip out of place and make the wearing experience uncomfortable. Additionally, the magnet clip is very strong, and isn't going to budge. On that note: I would be mindful of what material you use this on. I can see the magnet doing damage to lace or particularly thin material if you're not careful with it. Nonetheless, it's built to last and be worn out and about for many sessions, as I've come to expect from Lovense.
It's also very quiet, though it's important to note it isn't silent. It is definitely designed to be worn discreetly, but it is still a vibrator. Sound is vibration, so there's not much getting around that. Granted, if you're wearing this out in public where there's some noise, and you're not sitting with the toy against a hard surface, you'll be just fine. My only criticism here is that the battery life is only about 2.5 hours, which is a bit surprising for a toy that is marketed as something you can wear out to parties and clubs. If you're planning on a long night out, you may need to ration out the battery life, or bring the charger with you.

Materials and care
Waterproof, body-safe silicone!
I love the texture of this silicone. It's smooth and feels good against the skin without being tacky, even without lube. Thankfully Ferri is IPX7 waterproof, so it's a dream to take care of. Just clean with mild soap or toy cleaner, and you're good to go. No need to worry about water getting in the wrong places. There are some ridges in the silicone on the contact side, but they aren't very deep and don't easily get gunk stuck in them; anything should rinse off with a normal wash. Just be sure to dry off the magnet area before putting the magnet clip back on so you don't trap any moisture in there by accident.
Performance
Lovense vibrations, but make it a tease!
Lovense has some sort of witch or sorcerer giving them access to a kind of vibration that no one else seems to be able to duplicate. It's the perfect balance between buzzy and rumbly. The Ferri also has these vibrations, but... in this particular size and shape, it's just not quite strong enough to get me over the edge into an orgasm. That said, it's an excellent tease; I will be using this for foreplay and some other kinky stuff regularly. But, if you, like me, tend to need strong, direct stimulation to get to an O, this might not be the toy for you. If you're looking for something to enhance your foreplay, use as a tease with a partner, or feel that rush of exhibition and you're okay with not quite reaching that peak, however, I can't recommend this enough.

Experience
Fun, sexy, and cheeky!
I think we all like the feeling of doing something innocuous that we technically shouldn't be doing. Eating ice cream straight out of the carton, buying yourself a little treat, that kind of thing. Ferri gives you that feeling wearing it out in public. No one but you (and maybe your partner) knows what you're up to, and it's exciting! Frankly, this is part of why I think the fact this toy isn't quite enough to get me to an orgasm is a good thing--it'd sort of defeat the purpose if it was enough you couldn't contain yourself while you were at the grocery store or something. As always, the Lovense app is easy as pie to use, and there aren't any weird things you have to do to connect the toy to Bluetooth. It was a blast to experiment with, and I'll definitely be doing it again.

Price
A fun splurge!
The Ferri usually retails for $99 through Lovense's website. While I was sent this toy from the lovely people here at ToyChats, knowing what I know now, I personally might first reach for a different Lovense toy in the same price range, like the Nora or Domi. However, like I said earlier, if you're looking for a toy to enhance your foreplay or act as a tease on date night, this is absolutely worth the splurge. It's high quality, easy and fun to use, and has long-distance app control. There are plenty of possibilities in this small package!
