Lovense Nora Review: One of the Best Rabbit Vibes Out There

Packaging

Sturdy, protective, sleek!

As always, Lovense hits the ball out of the park with their packaging. It's sleek, sturdy, and protects the item inside. It looks and feels like they care about the product and the person receiving it.

The box contains your usual host of items--the toy itself, a charger, the user manual, and a storage bag! I was a little bummed that my Domi didn't come with a storage bag, so I'm glad to see one with this. Very handy!

Design

Buttery smooth silicone, flexibility where it counts, easy controls!

While it is a standard rabbit vibrator, Nora of course has a Lovense twist. It feels hefty and solid, made to last and be used. The magnetic charger is strong enough to be easy to take off, but not easy to accidentally knock loose. It's a good size without being intimidating, and the size of the rabbit part is perfect to make sure all your sweet spots get attention. And it's all wrapped in that bright pink Lovense silicone that's a delight to use and feel against the skin!

The big thing I personally appreciate is how flexible the rabbit part is. It will bend all the way back without breaking so no matter how hard you're going with it, it will do the job!

Nora has a great handle shape, though my only teeny tiny criticism is that I wish it had a texture to it. The plastic is very smooth, so if you get lube or other slippery substances on it, it can be hard to keep hold of. While on the topic of the handle: this is the case with most Lovense products, but again, the manual controls for the toy only has three levels of intensity available to you before the vibrations start into patterns, and the rotation of the g-spot stimulator loops back. The app allows for more precise control over both the vibration intensity and the rotation speed.

Quality

Solid, strong vibrations, sturdy!

Part of the reason why I and many, many other people like Lovense is because it feels like a luxury product without the luxury pricetag. I'll talk more about that particular point in a minute, but the quality of their toys can't be overstated. Nora is sturdy and built to last--even the plastic part that isn't silicone is solid and doesn't feel cheap. The buttons don't feel loose or like they're going to break after a few presses. The design plays into this, of course; the soft silicone, the flexibility where it matters, the weight of it. The only slight drawback is that it is only IPX6 water-resistant, not waterproof. Just means you have to be a little more careful about submerging it in water, but you can still wash it easily, and you don't need to worry if you get a little messy while using it! The rotation motors are strong and can't be easily grabbed and stopped, like some other rotating motors, and the vibrations are those strong, unique Lovense vibrations. I don't know what magic they're working, but they are working it really well. It isn't silent, but it also isn't the loudest toy on earth--you won't wake up your roommate on the other side of the wall or anything, but unlike some of their other toys, you probably won't be able to get away with using this secretly. That said, you can get about 4 hours of use time out of one charge!

Materials and care

You gotta love water-resistant silicone!

Body-safe silicone, water resistant, and easy to clean. What's not to love? No nooks and crannies to worry about getting into, and you don't have to worry about breaking it by washing it one time. Another bonus of the silicone they use is that, as a cat owner, every single square inch of everything I own is covered in cat hair all the time no matter how much I vacuum or dust, but despite that, this material isn't a cat hair magnet. If you set it on your bed for a second, as long as it's dry, it isn't going to pick up every single cat hair and piece of lint and errant midnight-snack crumb from your sheets. Plus, with the storage bag, it's going to keep it clean from dust and whatever else and ready to go for next time!

Performance

Strong, easy to use, satisfying!

Those Lovense vibrations are strong, the rotation is a unique feeling not a lot of other toys are providing, and it's easy and fun to use. Whether you're using the controls on the toy itself or the ones in the app, it gets the job done really well. It's on the quieter side; it won't distract you from being in the zone while you're using it. It absolutely lives up to the expectations Lovense sets. Since it lasts up to 4 hours on a charge, it can live up to those expectations a few times if you have the energy for it!

Experience

Intense, unique, the perfect size!

Nora is the perfect size to fill you up and put some support behind the rotation function without being a whole ordeal to get inside. The width and shape of the clit stimulator is perfect and doesn't need you to fiddle with it to vibrate the right spots. The vibration is a perfect balance between buzzy and rumbly. Using both the rotation and the vibration function is intense, even on low settings. Part of that is the fact the rotation function is such a unique feeling. If you get a lot of pleasure from internal or g-spot stimulation, this toy is calling your name. Honestly, even if you don't (which includes me!), it's worth a try. It doesn't vibrate, only rotates, though; I was a little surprised about that at first but I think cramming that much motor into this toy would've been a lot to ask of any product engineer. On top of all of that, the thrill of letting someone else control your toy for you, whether they're in the room with you or not, is unmatched, and a lot of fun. I highly recommend it.

Price

Only $99?!

Like I said, Lovense feels like luxury without the luxury price tag. It is a bit of a splurge, certainly, but it's also worth every penny in my opinion. I was lucky enough to have this toy sent to me by the lovely folks here at ToyChats, but I would absolutely spend the $99 on this toy if I had to. The unique sensations, the long distance control options, the quality of the product and its design... If I had no other context and was just looking at and feeling the toy for the first time, I'd probably guess it was up there with LELO toy prices. It's kind of a steal at this price point.
