My verdict

Even if it's not the biggest or most stimulating toy, considering how cheap and easy to maintain it is, I think it's a fantastic option for a first toy. If you already have other options like a Fleshlight or similar I would say it can't quite hold up in comparison though.

Pros

Fully silicone stroker
Two textures and openings
Very soft compared to other silicone toys

Cons

Limited stimulation compared to other toys
Lots of cornstarch and oily residue out of the box

Design

This is a uniquely designed stroker, it's fairly short and has a rounded/tapered design with openings on both sides. It's about 4 inches tall and a little under 3 inches in diameter at it's widest point. The smaller opening has a diameter of 0.7 inches while the larger opening is about 1 inch in diameter. It's very soft and stretchy though so this should accommodate anyone. Inside the toy there are two textures, either a ribbed pattern on the half with the larger opening, or a beaded pattern on the half with the smaller opening. Even though the toy is rounded on the sides, internally it's not quite as pronounced so there isn't just a big cavern in the middle. The silicone is actually thicker in the middle compared to the openings which gives the whole thing some heft. It comes in just one color, charcoal, which is a nice dark grey, though it does show fingerprints due to the oily residue and cornstarch coating.

Quality

It does feel very high quality, and the website states that its made of 100% platinum-grade silicone that meets both FDA and REACH standards. I will say, right out of the box it wasn't the most impressive looking because it comes with a cornstarch coating to keep it soft and not tacky, but the soft touch silicone also leaves an oily residue. This combination led to there being clumps of cornstarch in some places which you'll be able to see in some of the pictures (all taken before use!).

Experience

I've tried a few silicone strokers and I haven't always been very impressed. Silicone just can't get quite as soft as TPE and so they're often a little too rough even with plenty of lube. I've previously reviewed a Bad Dragon stroker and wasn't a fan because of that issue. All that said, this is completely different! I've also previously tried the Firefly Yoni and I'd say it's similar in softness to that. The silicone they've used is incredibly soft and it really does feel great, I just which it was bigger and had more texture to it. At just 4 inches tall it doesn't have that much space internally so you really have to focus on head stimulation. The dual openings allow for some variety, and while it doesn't look like that narrower opening would be an entry option, it really does work and allows for a different texture. Personally I still preferred the ridged section but that's totally subjective. The image below shows a cross section (taken from Maude's website) so you can see the textures. It's small and light enough that it's really easy to hold and use for longer play sessions, something that you can't say for big TPE toys like a Fleshlight. Because there isn't any of kind of rigid structure you can also squeeze it to change the pressure and increase stimulation. You'll definitely need lube to use this toy, and because it's open ended it can be quite noisy. Dunking it in some hot water for a bit before use can also change things up, and the warm sensation is quite nice.

Materials and care

This is one of the easiest to clean strokers due to the silicone material used. It's obviously completely waterproof, so just wash it out thoroughly after each use with mild soap or toy cleanser, and you can even boil it for 10 minutes to completely disinfect it. You'll want to make sure to let it completely dry before storing it away in the included canvas pouch. They also recommend periodically renewing the cornstarch coating inside and out to keep it dry, I assume to prevent that oily residue I mentioned earlier.

As a silicone toy, it is NOT compatible with silicone or oil based lubes, so be sure to use a water based option. Lotions and other alternatives can sometimes have silicones as additives so be careful about using those also.

Packaging

The unboxing experience was really nice. The tube like box design was really unique and I really appreciate Maude's minimalist and modern design language as compared to having flashy designs and scantily clad models on the box. The text on the box generically says it's a "sleeve" so it's a relatively discreet box, and this did ship in a completely unmarked brown cardboard box with recyclable padding material inside. Inside the box the toy and manual were actually inside of the canvas pouch, and the toy was again inside of a little plastic bag for extra protection. I really like that they include a canvas bag because silicone toys shouldn't be stored together as that can cause damage.

Price

At just $35 I would definitely recommend it. This is so much cheaper than a Fleshlight, and made from entirely from body safe materials which you just can't beat at this price point. The silicone build means it's meant to be reused over and over if you take good care of it, and even high quality TPE materials just don't have the same longevity.
