How's the design?

The design is breathtaking, it's insanely realistic and painted to look life-like; It's very arousing. The end of the toy is thicker to prevent any potential poke-through. The overall shape and size pair well, and make for an easily maneuverable toy that's great for any position. I was worried it would be too heavy and cause fatigue, but I hardly ever noticed its weight of 800g. The feel of the material is soft and realistic. I found the material to help a lot in terms of stimulation and overall intensity.

The design is based off of the JAV actress Akari Mitani.

How's the quality?

The quality of the Shin no Syoumei 002 is very premium feeling. After numerous uses there have been no signs of tearing or material degradation. The outside is firm and sturdy, more firm than I thought it would be; in a good way. This toy possesses dual-layer hole construction, which basically means the toy has two separate material densities. The material on the outside is softer and is meant to feel like skin, while the internal texture is firmer. This enhances a couple things, most notably the overall intensity is radically improved thanks to the more noticeable inner-texture, it's incredibly intense to feel every bit of the toy. The contrast between the toy layers enhances the entire experience and also makes it more durable.

How was the experience?

My first experience with the toy was amazing, it is very intense and got me off quick. The variation in the sleeve is crazy, there's a ludicrous amount of bumps, grooves, and complex textures. This does make it a little harder to clean than usually as getting between all the cracks is crucial but difficult.

It has seriously become my favorite stroker to use. Cleaning and drying become a breeze after getting used to it a couple times.

Extra's included?

Also included is a two-sided erotic photo of Akari Mitani, and 80ml of lube. The photo is very sexy and I can imagine some fans pinning it to their wall, but that's not for me. The lube is slick and dries without any left-over residue, but it dries quickly and has to be reapplied. It pairs well with this toy. A slight odor is present.

How did it perform?

The toy definitely performed above my expectations and delivered on it's promises. I knew it would be an intense toy given that it's a firmer dual-layer hole construction toy, but my god, it is intense. The Shin no Syoumei 002 has the perfect amount of tightness to still be comfortable. I found it to be perfect for longer edging sessions, after I got use to the intensity. It's noise level is pretty silent except for the sound of it slapping against skin. The toy warms up to a pleasant temperature fairly quickly, this makes the texture a bit more pliable and enjoyable.

Materials

The material is TPE and is durable and dense. The material is stretchy, soft, and pleasant on the skin. It feels life-like and is even painted to be more realistic, the slight hue difference really adds a lot in terms of immersion and arousal. The material also allows for the internal texture to be highly detailed, and more importantly, for it to be felt. TPE material is porous and can trap bacteria if not properly maintained. The TPE is also cost effect allowing for an affordable price.

Was it easy to clean and maintain?

Washing and drying properly is crucial for TPE and must be done to maintain the safeness of the material. To clean, simply rinse with warm water, and a mild soap. Then dry with a lint-free towel and/or drying rod. To remove any tackiness simply apply corn starch or a toy restorer, this is also recommended to prevent oil-leaks which could lead to stiffness.

How's the packaging?

The packaging is designed like a typical Japanese toy. It's a very bold design with various photos of Akari Mitani, photos of the toy, as well as other details in Japanese. It's very cute like other Japanese designs but not something to leave out if you'd like to stay discreet. I'm personally not into JAV so it's not as appealing as it could be.

How was the unboxing?

The unboxing is nice, its got some fun first impressions. Seeing the realistic design of the toy for the first time is pretty crazy, it's surprisingly realistic given the price point.

Is the price fair?

I would definitely say that the price is fair. You're getting a fantastically realistic, highly durable, and easy to use toy. Onahole's are fantastic for value and this toy is no different. It can be found for ~$75 and for a quality dual-layer hole construction stroker, I'd say it's definitely worth it. As long as it's maintained properly and handled, it should last ~1-2 years or more. One of the downsides of this toy is the difficult of cleaning and drying, but this gets easier after a few attempts and with the proper tools.

Would you recommend it to me?

I would absolutely recommend the Shin no Syoumei 002. As I said before, it is now my favorite stroker. Its stimulation is very high and delivers some very intense orgasms. This toy is great for anyone, whether you're new to toys or a pro. Would also be perfect suited for an introduction to the world of dual-layer hole construction toys. I really don’t see myself going back to standard single-material toys; it’s a game changer.
