My verdict

If you're a *high* power/intensity chaser I suggest you keep on moving, Sexy Pot is for those that like to keep things mellow, light, friendly and chill. It's the melt into the couch and ride it out type of *buzz*, rather than a "let's get this party staaaarrttedd" kind of *vibe*. It's perfect for those that are new to toys, like 420 decor, and/or don't mind mellow vibes with a nice *hit* now and then. Even if you don't want to use it as a toy, you can use it as a decoration which is pretty cool! I can say I'm definitely delighted it's a part of my collection: it's cute, it gets the job done, it can hide in plain site for easier access, it's somewhat discreet (save 2 or 3 settings), it can handle a shower (IPX6) and when it kicks the bucket I can still use it as decoration or reuse the pot to house an actual plant. ♥

Mini Summary!

Every garden has at least one favorite plant somewhere in it, whether it's showcased front and center for all to see, centered in and surrounded by other beauties or hidden away in a spot that's meaningful to the gardener. The relationship between a plant and gardener usually involves the gardener providing the plant with loads of TLC, with the reward being the beauty of a healthy thriving plant... whether it's a plant with crops, a blossoming flower, an elongated vine or whatever... It's a symbiotic, symbolic and precious relationship ♥.

A garden in the realm of sex toys is a whole different story... it involves the "plants" being the provides of the TLC, with the reward being a radiantly glowing and beautifully refreshed gardener! This garden is seemingly riddled with mainly roses and tulips, all competing to be number one... not everyone is a basic flower lover though... nor are they all fans of being so boisterous... so for those that are mindful meditators, shy wall flowers or lovers of simple buds... we have OurEroticJourney's Sexy Pot plant! It's gardener friendly, 420 friendly and beginner friendly! No matter the color of your thumb you're sure to keep this plant alive and well, while it in turn helps you feel the same! :D

This adorable little plant is well equipped to sit upon your nightstand, window sill or plant shelf without drawing sexual attention, though it will still potentially evoke an interesting conversation lol. It features 10 vibrations settings, 3 single vibrations and 7 patterns, though the site, box and manual may have you thinking otherwise... These features can be accessed by the (highly) appropriately shaped 420 leaf remote or by the single button on the bulb itself. To operate manually simply hold the single button to power the device on/off and press to continuously cycle through the settings. The plant will provide a nice buzz for around 70mins, though it is unknown how long it will take to kick in (as no charging time is provided). Unfortunately, it does not run on photosynthesis, but it does use a micro USB to recharge. Do NOT over water this plant! It is NOT IPX7 rated, but instead is IPX6, meaning NO baths, a simple shower will do just fine.

It's currently available in one color and runs around $60 on OurEroticJourney's site, but it's a plant that will keep on giving if you let it! ♥

Packaging!

This packaging is absolutely delightful! The background panel is super colorful, trippy, weird, awesome and the right amount of almost off putting with some images while being absolutely adorable with others. I love how playful, appropriate and almost discreet it is. Obviously it's not super discreet, it blatantly says it's a vibrator and the company name is "Our Erotic Journey", but the rest of it is so on theme with the 420 vibe that the obvious sexual bits are almost ignorable. The leaf design on the very top of the packaging is gorgeous, I feel it's very well done, oddly inviting and quite mandala like. I enjoy the fact that the box itself serves as a decent manual, not only because the actual manual hidden in the bottom may be missed but it helps the user decide if they are interested in the features right out the gate. For instance, if you want a completely waterproof toy to use in the bath, you'll notice that the box says IPX6, which is NOT fully waterproof, so you can now keep on walking or decide to get it anyway because it's still pretty kickass and the other features may override that.

One thing to note is the fact that it incorrectly identifies the amount of overall settings and the amount per style of settings for some reason. It claims 5 single vibrations and 7 patterns (total of 12 settings), when in fact it's 3 single vibrations and 7 patterns (total of 10 settings)..

What's in the Box?!

Inside the package: The toy itself, a 3.5mm jack charger, a remote with the first battery included, an instruction manual and an adorable pot that serves as the toy's holder.

I love that the pot is a real little pot! Not only can it continue to serve its purpose as the toy's display holder, but if the user decided to keep the toy elsewhere the pot could be used for a real plant! The fact that the charger was tucked into the pot was a nice touch as well as it allows the two items to be easily kept together rather than having the cable run wild and loose somewhere. LOVE when the company includes the first battery, to me it shows a company that cares about its customers and wants them to be able to use their product as soon as possible! I like the way the remote control was showcased and stored against the back panel, it not only kept it from rattling around the bottom of the packaging but allowed it to be its own show!

One thing to note is the instruction manual serving as the bottom panel of the box... On one hand I feel it's ingenious, but on the other I feel it can be easily overlooked by some users which would be a bummer.

The Remote!

Some remotes are just a nice bonus feature for some toys... in this case though... it's ESSENTIAL!.... Why?.... Because the button used to operate it manually is located on the bulb of the plant, rather than the tail. Unless you're starting out with your desired setting and/or don't mind getting hands on during your garden tending, the remote is going to be the only way to change things up while in use.

Overall access to the toy isn't the only highlight of the remote though... its adorably appropriate shape makes it one of the most fun and unique remotes on the market. Another bonus is the fact that it has +/- buttons that allow the user to cycle back and forth among the settings, which is a step up from the single button operation on the toy itself. Single buttons can be nice for ease of design and sometimes overall use, but having to cycle through all of the settings just to get back to the one you missed can make a session a bit frazzling.

The remote is powered by a CR2032 battery which can easily be found in a 2 - 4 pack at the Dollar Tree, so it doesn't have to be a bank breaking experience to get this kind of high in life. Be sure to remove the plastic tab under the battery before using for the first time! The company was kind enough to provide a divider to avoid the battery being potentially drained before arriving.

How Did It Do?!

Information and Operation: To operate the toy manually simply hold the button located on the bulb to power the device on/off and press it to cycle through the settings. For more control and easier control... use the remote.

How Did It Feel?!: As always, typing while testing and with the initial charge it came with. The bulb was inserted powered on with no initial setting running as I decided I wanted to proof read the earlier sections before getting right into things. Powering the remote up immediately started the initial setting on the toy, and to my surprise it answered one question immediately...

First question: "Can the vibrations be felt through the leaf shaped tail and provide clitoral stimulation?".
First answer: Yes it can! Though I did not have the leaf initially lined up to do so, but thanks to the flexibility of the tail I was able to adjust it to the desired location and somewhat keep it in place.

Second question: "Is it discreet as a wearable vibe?"
Second answer: Yes it is! The leaf design lays utterly flat against the body with no discomfort or super obvious protrusion. The sound on the initial setting is practically inaudible. Unless it's pin drop quiet somewhere, it's not noticeable.

  • The initial setting feels lightly rumbly internally and slightly ticklish externally, definitely a slow burn style orgasm achiever and highly beginner friendly, wouldn't recommended it for the power hungry or high intensity chasers just yet. I will say the lights on the remote are a nice touch as it makes it easy to spot if it's set down somewhere and it's somewhat dark.

  • The second setting is a nice jump in intensity and a more personally preferred starting point if I was on a faster track to getting things done, that being said... still not for those seeking high power. The audibility for it kicked up a bit, but is still relatively quiet it.

  • Third gear is a niiiice bump and would be exactly where I started if I wanted to have a straight fast paced session... I'd say it has the potential to satisfy the lower end of the scale for those seeking more intense sensations. The audibility kicked up quite a bit too, though it's not loud it does sound like a small engine is idling down the street down there.

  • The 1st pattern (4th setting) feels somewhat unique and unlike other patterns I've come across but isn't one to do anything for me personally. It sounds like a car struggle bussing a bit to start lol.

  • 2nd pattern (5th setting) somehow feels weaker than the initial intensity and sounds like a car consistently puttering... I'm sorry I'm stuck on the car thing... that's just what's coming to mind lol >.<".

  • FFS.... the 3rd pattern is no better lol... but I'll change up my analogy and compare it to that cliché Jersey Shore type rave boy fist bumping the air continuously and that picture doesn't help the pattern get anything done by any means lol...

  • 4th pattern feels... sad lol >.< I don't even want to try to describe it lol.

  • 5th pattern feels like I can tell the washer is running in the other room... or like I was riding the corner of a washer with 3 pillows between me and it >.<".

  • 6th pattern has potential because of the high intensity kicks, but is the cliché alarm clock pattern that makes me want to throw it across the room and go back to sleep for 5 more minutes instead of moaning in ecstasy...

  • 7th pattern is back to feeling weak and like a hype purring kitten which now just makes me feel dirty in a wrong way instead of a fun one lol. >.<"

  • Pressing the + sign one more time does start the cycle back over rather than capping out at the 10th setting which is pretty cool to see happen! Now I don't have to click back 7-9 times to get back to the only 3 settings that mattered most to me lol!

Is it a toy I'd reach for again? Yes
Why? It's cute, the initial 3 vibes can still get things done for me and it's discreet enough in looks and sound that I could be a bit adventurous with it if I wanted to be.

"Cat" Approved!

Not only will your downstairs "cat" approve, but your actual cat may approve as well! Keep in mind, it's still a plant your cat shouldn't be chewing on >.<".

Discreet Trial!

Decided to attempt to hide this little guy among some of the real plants I have around the house. Let me know if it panned out! >.<"
