Tempo Honey Play Box Review: The Tapping G-Spot Vibrator

The Tempo from Honey Play Box is a purple G-spot tapper that has 9 unique modes. There is built in sensors that change rhythm depending on how your muscles react to the toy. It is constructed of premium silicone and is waterproof. One of my favorite aspects about the design is that it is personalized to pleasure. The app allows me to create custom patterns that allow me to start of gentle and slow, eventually building up to a crescendo of stronger taps and sensations.

I will say that this toy was too girthy for my anatomy, which is perfectly normal. A lot of the wider dildo shaped toys have a hard time resting nicely inside me. I would recommend this toy to people who like feeling stretched out by their toys. I prefer a more slender model. I think that's why I enjoyed the other Honey Play Box toy, Melody because of its skinny spine. This tapping G-Spot stimulation is just not as appealing to me as a low buzz or rumbly sensation that other toys elicit. However, the design of the toy is super unique, and reminds me of the Sohimi Koxten Vibrator that I reviewed a while ago.

Easy Maintenance

The toy is waterproof which makes it super easy to wash after use. What I do is rinse the toy off with water and soap, followed by a nice towel dry. The silicone material that Tempo is made out of is to die for, it feels absolutely luxurious. The G-spot tapper is also constructed of a textured diamond pattern that makes for a stronger orgasm experience. The slight curve of the toy is great for angling it in the correct position during intimate sessions.

With the traveling pouch, Tempo is easy to keep clean because the case provides a perfect storage space. Tempo could definitely be used for G-spot and clit play, but only the head of the toy is flexible, so it makes it difficult to get that dual stimulation going.

Tempo is made of high quality materials and it's app control/remote play element elevates the masturbation experience by tenfold. The app allows for voice command activation and is also great for long distance partner play. Similar to a lot of the toys in the Honey Play Box collection, the Tempo is hyper aware of your pelvic floor contractions and responds accordingly. With an IPX7 waterproof rating this toy can be used in the pool, hot tub, and even the shower. I really appreciated the time and energy that the Honey Play Box team put into constructing this toy because it appears to have a really premium design.

Surprise Sensations In Store

My overall experience when using Tempo was great! I feel like there were a lot of surprise sensations that came from the tapping controls. While it was a little to wide for me, the actual back-and-forth motion felt really good. I especially liked that the Honey Play Box apps allows you to sync Tempo's movements to your favorite music. "Sexual Healing" by Marvin Gaye is a perfect song to sync up to for low deep vibes.

I would recommend experimenting with all the different settings and features on the app to really get the most out of this toy. Usually tech toys retail on the more expensive side because they offer so much more than manual toys, and can last a long time if cared for correctly. It's kind of a give and take with this because you get what you pay for. In this instance the toy is high quality, so that means it's pricier than something like a regular dildo.

Met Expectations

The toy was fairly powerful, but unfortunately did not come charged up upon delivery. Which is perfectly fine, I was just super greedy and wanted to use it right out of the box. Forgive a girl for wanting to satisfy her needs 😏. Tempo really did meet expectations, dare I say even surpassed them. Despite it's rigid shape, I still enjoyed all the extra details that were included with the toy.

The ergonomic design allowed for me to rest my wrist so it didn't get tired during my solo session. I have yet to use this with my boyfriend, but for my first go around by myself I do have to admit this toy has piqued my interest. I think next time I use Tempo, I'll warm my clit up with another toy, and have a longer fingering session before inserting this G-spot tapper. Initially when you turn it on inside you it is a little jarring because your coochie sensations go from 0-100 real quick.

That being said, another technique I may use next time with Tempo is figuring out which of the 9 vibrating modes is the lightest before insertion. I think with this toy it would be wise to start of slow and build up to those faster tapping rhythms. This is a marathon not a sprint. It is a fairly big toy, and you need the proper amount of stimulation and coaxing before putting Tempo to the test.

Underneath the cardboard, customers will find a user manual, charger, and carrying case. I love that all the Honey Play Box toys I've reviewed so far come fully equipped with a carrying case. Totally Recommend It

The price for Tempo is around $153.99, but I believe it is currently on sale for $94.99 which is a reasonable price for such a tech savvy toy. If you're someone who adores the marriage of technology and sex toys then I would say the whole Honey Play Box assortment of toys would be of interest to you. Their app control feature is a lot less glitchy than some of the other brands I've used in the past, and for $94.99 you're guaranteed a high quality toy that will last over the years. Go get your fuck on with Tempo.
