The Rise of the Male Rose

Now you'll find lookalikes everywhere from budget Amazon copies to premium branded versions - each trying to cash in on the hype. The Male Rose (the brand) seems to be the first to claim ownership/originality over the Male Rose/Gawk Gawk 3000 design style.

But to understand where the Male Rose came from, you need to look back at the female Rose Toy. When the rose-shaped clitoral vibrator went viral on TikTok in 2020–2021, it sparked a cultural moment. The toy’s unique suction design and the rose shape made it a runaway success, becoming a shorthand for powerful suction toys in general. That virality didn’t just reshape the market for women’s toys but it also inspired and set the stage for the male version.

The Male Rose is essentially riding that same wave. Its name, design cues, and marketing lean directly on the legacy of the viral Rose vibrator, reimagining it for men with suction, vibration, and rotation built into one “tech gadget” stroker. Shape and Structure

The clear cup's shape resembles a partially opened Rose bloom. Clear cup on the top opens up to provide a quite open internal sleeve, the opening is designed to look like a pair of lips which adds another nice touch to the overall visual appeal.

Experience

Bringing a wide variety of products and testing something different to share my thoughts on makes the writing process fun and this was next on the list. One of the very highly ranked male sex toys and currently sold out too. I just cannot tell you guys how eager and excited I was to try this toy and share my thoughts on it. Comes out of the simple packaging like a magic wand or like a superhero's special weapon and it also feels like one in hands. I started with a good amount of water based lubricant, I suggest lubing the shaft well and try using a slightly thinner/ watery lubricant.

The Male Rose 3 has pair of wide open lips as the opening, the entry is easy as the opening is approximately 2.5 inches in diameter. Unlike the initial resistance most torch light style sleeve provides you just go straight in the Male Rose 3. The texture inside feels okay initially before you switch the thrusting and rotating features ON. The Rose shaped cup does not have the softest of the interiors but do a decent job at stimulating.

The Male Rose 3 has ten different vibration frequencies provided by the two powerful bullets on the sides positioned in the middle section of the cup. These vibration modes can be controlled by the second button which has a wave symbol. The real deal is the rotating and thrusting feature of the toy that can be activated as you hit the power button. As that rotation and thrusting feature is turned on I just had to hold the handle and let The Male Rose 3 do the magic. The simultaneous rotating, thrusting and vibrating motion creates an unmatched sensory feel, I cannot think of any other sex toy I have used or seen can create sensations like the Male Rose 3. The rotation makes it feel like your shaft is being twisted and massaged from all sides. The thrusting adds a piston-like motion, making it less about stroking and more about being "taken", it really feels like I am being sucked and pulled outward. The Male Rose 3 mimics a sloppy blowjob with the thrusts but also rotates - which I don't think is humanly possible in a real bedroom scenario at these speeds and intensity. The two vibrating bullets inside could benefit from being cushioned under a thicker silicone layer, since their edges feel a bit pointy during use. When I pressed my finger against the very top of the cup, I could also feel hard surfaces underneath—likely where the wires connect to the board inside the handle. That makes the toy feel a little unfinished in terms of comfort. Overall, it feels like the manufacturers invested heavily in the handle (which is sleek, ergonomic, and well-built), but the cup design could use a rework with softer, stretchier material and better cushioning.

That said, despite the design quirks, I still consider the Male Rose 3 one of my favorite toys of 2025. When you find the modes that sync with your body, the sensory experience it delivers is unmatched—intense, unique, and unlike anything else I’ve tested this year.

Satisfier's Take: My Dirty Little Categories

With all my toys the first time I ever use a sex toy I like to give it a long run and edge with it to gather my first impressions and then take some more time and sessions to completely be sure on what pros and cons are. Over time, I’ve realized most toys fall into one of three categories: the Edge Lord (built for teasing and denial), the Quickie Supreme (best for fast, intense finishes), or the Jack of All Strokes (a versatile all-rounder). I’ve always thought this way, but I finally gave my categories cheeky names because, well, testing toys should be fun. The Male Rose 3 is hands-down a Quickie Supreme. The Male Rose 3 is built with ABS plastic (handle) and TPE (sleeve/cup). The handle feels premium, ergonomic, and well-finished, but the clear cup material isn’t the softest—it has some firmness unlike the materials you find in torchlight style toys. That makes the half the toy porous and the handle side of things non-porous.

Lube Compatibility: The Male Rose 3 is safe for use with water based lubricants.

Cleaning:

The Male Rose needs extra care before and after play as this product is not waterproof. The Male Rose 3 isn’t waterproof — all the motors, wiring, and tech that powers its wild thrusts and rotations sit inside that sleek handle and connect to the cup, so you definitely don’t want to dunk this one in water. The two parts need to be detached, the cup can then be rinsed with warm water and use mild unscented or toy cleaner and then leave it to air dry. The handle can be wiped clean with a damp cloth or I suggest toy-cleaning wipes which do an excellent job for most non-porous toy parts.

Storage:

Storage is one issue with this particular product as you might have to keep the two parts detached after cleaning and store them separately maybe in two different storage bags. I still do not have a designated storage method for this Male Rose 3 but I was also thinking if this toy can fit in one of the long toy storage cases mostly used vibrating wands that can be a good solution.
