The Lovehoney ROMP Switch Was Almost Too Much – Which Is a Good Thing!

When I opened the box my first thought was, "Wow, this is cute." I loved the feel of it in my hand. You can get a good grip on it, no matter how you're holding it. The handle is the perfect size for my hands. I have smaller hands, but even larger hands can enjoy the contour of the handle on this toy. And, even though the battery cover comes off easily, it doesn't accidentally pop off during use, which I was worried about initially.

Here's where things get interesting. This isn't the first clitoral stimulator I've used, but it was the first one that got me off in a matter of minutes. I'm not bad-mouthing my favorite clit toy in my arsenal, but the Switch is giving that toy a run for its money. I got as far as the second-speed setting and was done for. This little hand-sized toy is pretty powerful. It took a little time to get the right position, but, again, that second speed hit me just right.

There's no doubt this is a high-quality product. It's made of durable plastic with a silicone cover at the head for clitoral play. If you have issues with your Switch, the company offers a lot of suggestions on how to get it working again (most often, it seems the issues are related to battery placement or life). I had zero issues loading the batteries and getting the toy going.

The Switch only costs around $30. It is well worth this small fee for the fun you can have with such a powerful little stimulator, whether you're playing with it alone or with someone else. It doesn't seem like much of a toy when you look at the pictures, but it definitely makes up for it during usage.

There's not a lot that goes into the performance of this toy. You turn it on, put it on your clit, and pick a speed. It does one thing -- offers stimulation to your clit. Placement can make a difference depending on what feels good to you. You can feel the difference in each speed setting instantly as you move up or down through them. For me, the first setting was not quite enough, but the second one did the trick. Of course, I look forward to playing around with higher settings over time. I definitely think, for me anyway, there'll be some getting used to the higher-intensity speeds.

The ROMP Switch sits in tight packaging within its display box. It comes with instructions, but no cute storage bag like some toys. Lovehoney went straight and to the point with this one. You open the package to a single item, as the detachable cup on the stimulator comes in place. The box gives you an excellent look at what the Switch looks like, so there's no confusion as to what you're getting. Gotta love truth in advertising!

When you're not using your battery-operated toys, it can be helpful to pull the batteries out of them for storage. Leaving batteries in your toys can lead to future corrosion in the battery compartment, which can make your toy not work. Plus, you risk the batteries dying before you get around to playing (I suggest keeping some extra batteries wherever you store your toys). As for cleaning, the best thing about this clitoral stimulator is that the little white part that suctions on your clit pops right off for easy and convenient cleaning. A little mild soap and warm water or some toy cleaner will keep your toy in tip-top shape. Be sure to completely dry your toy before putting it back together or storing it.
