I found this toy takes time to work, but I guarantee it will be worth it. Clean up as mentioned above is easy, needing only a simple wash up with some toy cleaner and warm water. There really aren't any nooks or crannies that can hold anything that requires extra attention. However, it does seem to attract lint, and I found it impossible to keep dust free. The only downside I found was that the material on the inside of the flaps did degrade a little and developed a sort of pilling.
