Design

The Utimi Restraining Thigh Straps are designed for comfort to be enjoyed by all experience levels. Each point of contact is padded and made with durable imitation leather. The silver rivets in the straps are smooth, don’t scratch, and have a cooling touch. There are several notches to choose from, and the thigh straps seem to fit a range of sizes. I would like to see another set of buckles to alter the strap connecting both thighs, especially for taller or plus-sized users. A nice feature of this design is that you can shorten the straps, tightly binding the user and really leaving them immobile.

The blindfold is extra long, allowing your partner to play with the ends and run them along your back. All around, the material used to make these straps is very comfortable and easy to wear for long periods of time. They also come in three colors: red, pink, and black. All of which look great on this product.

Experience

The Utimi Restraining Thigh Straps are just plain fun. I put them on, tightened the straps to pull my knees closer to my chest, and let my partner tie the blindfold on. With the blindfold, all sensations and control exerted by my partner were magnified. The positioning of the straps keeps you in a semi-all fours position, whether on your back or knees. I was surprised by the maneuverability of it. Obviously, I couldn’t move much, but my partner could swing me around freely. The main strap is able to move freely without affecting the neck pad, making my partner’s job even easier as he had full control of the angle of my legs. Taking it off when we were finished was easy and I’m excited to use it again.

Quality

At first glance, the materials look nice, durable, and odorless. They’re easy to clean with a wet cloth or baby wipe. I’m curious how the straps will hold up over time, if they’ll pill and peel like pleather sometimes does. The metal seems rust resistant, so no worries there. At first, they’re a little stiff but that doesn’t affect their comfort, and I’m sure over time they’ll break in.

Price

Priced around $33, $17 if you can find them on sale, the Utimi Restraining Thigh Staps are shockingly affordable considering their quality.

Performance

I have no complaints about this product’s performance. It’s comfortable, easy to use, and effective.

Packaging

The Thigh Straps come in a convenient storage back that’s discreet and easily hidden. They’re a little tricky to fold correctly to fit into the bag, so mine have been in the bag without it closed since I last used them. A box would’ve been more convenient to store them after opening, so I’ll probably look for a different way to store them soon.

Materials and care

Made from odorless, durable imitation leather, quality metal, and plush sponge padding, the Utimi Restraining Thigh Straps feel of great quality. They’re easy to clean. I used a baby wipe as there weren’t instructions online. I’m sure a damp rag or body-safe disinfectant wipe would work as well.
