I got very excited to review the WeVibe Sync, specifically because it’s a wearable vibrator that’s designed to be sleek and small enough to use during intercourse. There aren’t a lot of options that provide this same kind of feature, and those that claim to are usually low quality. I was stoked to get my Sync, and while I will say it works, you might be in for a bit of configuration when you first use it. So, be prepared for that.
Design
The design is sleek and comforting without intimidation. I appreciate that because the idea of using an internal toy during intercourse itself can already seem intimidating for some. I also love the color: that deep purple can’t be beat…
Right out of the box, it’s pretty easy to recognize that the smaller, thinner arm is the internal one while larger, thicker arm is meant to sit against the outside of the body and stimulate the clit. Even so, the instructions make this clear as well as how to use the WeVibe app for controlling your toy.

Quality
The silicone body of the toy feels good to the touch. It definitely has that quality feel of pricier toys and the buttery softness that’s well-known for WeVibe toys. It also feels very sturdy, and even though the internal arm is made to be adjusted, it doesn’t feel like it’ll snap. I will say the instructions remind you constantly to avoid bending it too much in one session, though, so take that as you will…

Experience
Let me preface this with the fact that it is NOT EASY to make the Sync work as intended. The app is fine, but finding the right angle so the toy will fit along with your partner is more difficult than I’d first anticipated. I needed more than one try to get this right, and while all the promotional material explains it might take time to get this to work, I’d say it takes more time than it probably should…
Sync has an adjustable arm, but it doesn’t exactly stay put in the position you want. Once you do insert it, it can be hard to have your partner press inside and for everything to feel comfy. In fact, I struggled to get both in there for a bit. It is possible, but absolutely not easy, or dare I say intuitive. That was pretty disappointing…
For those of you who might be tighter and/or have a partner with a larger penis, it might be difficult to use the Sync. That isn’t to say it’s impossible, but this product is probably at its best for those who are average sizes and shapes down there.

Performance
Once you figure it out, I will say its performance is top notch. You can adjust the vibration intensity and patterns with your phone app, which can be a nice relief from trying to remember what the buttons on the remote do, and the vibration is intense. It creates the kind of g-spot stimulation you want, plus it feels good for your partner too.
I’ll also readily advocate for using the Sync as an internal vibrator that’s wearable. You could easily move through your life wearing this toy, and since it has an app, you or your partner can change the intensity discreetly. Not the main function, but definitely a perk. 😉

Materials and care
I love a waterproof, submersible toy because you don’t have to worry about anything. This baby’s super easy to care for, clean, and maintain, full stop. And if you lose your remote, you’ve always got the phone sync option, which helps if you’re forgetful like I am. The toy also comes with a sample of WeVibe’s Pjur lube, always a nice to have.

Packaging
I’ve always liked WeVibe’s vibe. The packaging is luxurious, especially when you open up the little window and see the toy nestled inside with more cute copy and other instructions. I also love the colors this brand uses, and I feel that they do offer a fair amount of help for questions and the like, which I appreciate. The app offers articles full of suggestions for couples and solo play as well as FAQs for your toy.

Price
This is actually the second generation of the Sync, which retails for $169. I would say it’s the only toy of its kind that does what it does as well as it does… But I will say there are cheaper (and pricier) options made by WeVibe that do similar things. For example, the Sync Lite and Go are both smaller and less expensive, and these could be great options if you’re worried about the size of the toy not working right for you or your partner’s anatomy.
There’s also the Chorus Pro, which comes with a remote that can intensify the vibrations when it’s squeezed. If this sounds like your bag, its $229 price tag might be worth it to you. But I’d say, with this specific toy type, it’s important to compare the different options within the WeVibe family.
