This is a handcrafted piece by MstrMstrssBDSM on Fetlife. They have shops on spicerack at MasterMistressBDSM and BDSMfet on Etsy. They have been making BDSM toys since 2010 and selling since 2017. BDSMfet creates items from bondage furniture, nipple play toys, and leather pieces. I originally bought the flat bondage bench from them at the "Annual Kinky Crafter's Sale" in Topeka, KS. I then asked if they could make a custom Spanish horse attachment, as it had been a dream piece for my personal dungeon.

The design of this furniture piece is well thought out and was created to be able to take apart and store. There is a total of 5 parts to assemble and 8 handmade screws. It is lightweight and easy to carry both put together and disassembled. The total weight of the bondage bench is 34.8lbs (15.78kg) and the weight with the Spanish horse attachment is 33.2lbs (15.05kg). The bondage top alone is 13.6lbs (6.16kg) and the Spanish horse top is 12lbs (5.44kg). The base frame put together is 21.2lbs (9.61kg). Individually, triangle A is 9lbs (4.08kg), triangle B is 8.6lbs (3.90kg) and the center connector is 3.2lbs (1.45kg).

The toy fully assembled is not as big as some BDSM furniture can be, but it does still take up about the size of a coffee table, in length. The total height of the bench is dependent on which attachment is connected. The bondage top creates a height of 2ft 9in (83.82cm) and the Spanish horse is 2ft 11in (88.9cm).

The length of the bench put together at the base is about 2ft 10in (86.36cm) with the eyelets on each side accounting for 2in (5.08cm). The bondage top is 3ft 6.5in (106.68cm) long and the Spanish horse is about 3ft 3.5in (99.06cm).

The total width of the toy is 2ft 1.5in (64.77cm) assembled. The width of the Spanish horse is 7in (17.78cm) and the flat bondage top is 7.5in (19.05cm) wide. As for the individual pieces of the base, the triangles are 2ft 8in in height (81.28cm) and 2ft 1.5in (64.77cm) in width. The center connector is 2.5ft (62.32cm) in length.

Original Design with Handmade Components

The quality of the piece is very nice. It is sturdy and has been well loved. The furniture that is created by BDSMfet is mainly made out of Douglas Fir for the strength and lighter weight. The shop also uses upholstery grade foam and marine grade vinyl. They focus on making furniture that can be disassembled and stored away. This is done by making components that are assembled with screw knobs that they buy pre-made or make themselves. The furniture pieces and screw knobs are joined with a combination of techniques that include the following: gluing and screwing, dowels and plate tenons. The furniture is finished by painting, clear coating or a combination of both. Each part is thoroughly labeled so that it is easy to rebuild again and again.

Experience

Painful Yet Promising

The way that one plays with Spanish horse is one sits on the horse vertically with their legs on either side of the bench. This stuffie helps give a visual understanding how one sits. It is not supposed to be comfortable; it is supposed to be tolerable and somewhat painful. It is used for "predicament bondage" play. This kind of play is important to keep in mind mobility, balance and other types of medical issues. I had this attachment designed to fit my body so that my health concerns were not at risk.

Performance

Sturdy with a Variety of Play

Even though the parts are only connected by the screw knobs, the frame is sturdy and secure. The bench is quite a bit taller than my hips, so I use the middle section to support my weight. This section is very strong and can fully support me getting off and on or relieving the pressure from sitting on the middle.

The Spanish horse is actually quite comfortable for being made for predicament bondage. Because I had the horse specifically measured to my body, the angle of the point is on the wider side. The widest part of the point is 7in (17.78cm). If the angle was narrower, it would be more painful for one to sit on. I quite like the angle that it has, and I am able to fully enjoy the position. I am even able to grind a crossed the toy with sufficient amount of pleasurable pain. With the horse being so tall, I have a decent amount of distance where my legs do not reach the floor. I wanted to be able to add weights around my legs in order to add more pain while sitting on the point. The eyelets on the base triangles provide good hold for tying rope.

The flat top is only 7.5in (19.05cm) wide, so there is not a lot of room to lay down on it. It takes a little bit of balancing to lay long ways, but it can create great photos for erotic photography. The easiest way to use the flat top is leaning over it from the side, like the first photo in this category. Just as it is for the other attachment, the eyelets create a variety of different positions. This can be good both for play and also photography.

Easy to Wipe Down, but No Alcohol Products

Due to the stain on the Spanish horse, it is better to use flushable wipes or non-alcohol wipes to clean off. The black paint on the wood can also peal the flat top. It is important to store the pieces not directly touching each other. Other than that, the toy is very easy to clean by a quick wipe down.

Bargain Price

I was able to get the flat top bondage bench on a bargain deal at $150 USD. This was due to the fact that it was a well-used piece that was refurbished. I was also charged $25 USD for the custom attachment. This is a very cheap price in retrospect for what I was buying. A freshly made flat top bondage bench was $325.
