Not sure if this is where the company pulled the name "Beda" from, but given that this is a pleasure toy, I could see it having "qualities of joy and skill in making others smile." It's absolutely, and weirdly, adorable to look at, with its cute little butterfly/mana-ray antennae and wings. I've found myself every time I've had it out of the box playing with the antennae lol. ><"
This toy has a cliché mushroom-esque look to it in regards to phallic shapes, with the shaft being quite flexible to help it potentially fit different body shapes. The clitoral stimulator has a smidge of flex to its design, also giving it the potential to fit comfortably against more body types.
Beda has 9 features per appendage, 3 single vibrations and 6 patterns, that are not separately controlled, but simultaneously when using the single button on the base of the toy itself. It will simply cycle through the patterns and apply them to both motors, which some people may not be a fan of. If that's the case, don't fret! It connects to the Love Spouse app just like "Flappy Rocket" and "Beauty Bard II", giving you the ability to now separately control each appendage! It has a use time of 1hr, a charge time of 2hrs and uses a magnetic style charger. There's no official IPX rating provided, and the Amazon webpage is the only source that claims it's waterproof. As always, please use with caution in the showers and baths! Without a proper rating, it's hard to really know what's okay and not!
The app is super basic and easy to navigate through. Simply give it an e-mail, password, nickname, icon and year of birth and you're in! You can control it through the classic remote style panel, through music, during a video chat, while playing a fruit based game, with a partner long distance.... ooooor... if you have a friend that decided to drank waaaaaay too much coffee or is "all hopped up on Mountain Dew" you can slip your phone to him/her and see where the evening goes because for some fucked up reason people think shaking their phone is a good way to get off! *eyeroll*
The Packaging
When ordering this device off Amazon, you'll receive an utterly discreet, simply designed box wrapped in plastic to show that it has not been tampered with. I LOOVE the box style itself, it's rigid, classy, easy to open, and just all around awesome to me. This and magnetic book style boxes are just my jam apparently. ><"
What's In The Box?!
The company was awesome enough to include the toy itself (thank goodness), THREE (YES 3) packets of complimentary lube (so damn thoughtful), a remote control with the first battery included (AND THE 2nd BATTERY INCLUDED!!! WHAAAAT?! Fucking LOVE a company does this!!), the magnetic charger and an instruction manual.
How Did It Feel?!
Like "Beauty Bard II", this toy costs $18 and as you can see you're definitely getting more bang for buck here. This super outshines higher priced toys just in the included items, discreet packaging, and cute design... I almost don't care how it feels lol.
That being said... right off the bat it has an almost perfect fit to my body shape, just a smidge too high with natural placement but the slightest amount of adjustment and it's bang on.
The initial intensity feels quite high for the "nubs" and a bit weak for the dildo, though I can still feel the dildo both in the sense of it being in there and the sensation of the vibrations even though they seem weak. The 3rd single vibration intensity feels best for both features, with the vibrations in the internal piece actually performing better while rocking against the nubs feels quite tickly but in an awesome way. I don't mind this toy being a single button use as the intensities are pretty spot on together, especially when at that higher setting.
Normally I'm not a fan of patterns... idk if it's the shape of the toy or the sensation it provides with its style of rumbles or a combo of the two, but I found once I switched to the app for separate controls and placed the dildo on a pattern with the nubs left flittering between the 1st and 3rd intensity... it was quite pleasant! With just the internal settings active, you can feel the vibrations inside and out, providing a rumblier vibration through the nubs than the direct ticklish ones it has when that feature is on.
My phone is usually left on a 30sec screen timeout during normal use. While using the toy that setting needs to be changed to something longer if you're not playing with the buttons the whole time or the toy will stop when the screen blacks out.
It's very comfortable to wear, and somehow seems flatter than the "Beauty Bard II", making it seem more discreet. However, the vibrations are pretty audible, more so when it's not fully pressed up against anything. Despite the sound, I'd reach for this toy again in a heart beat.
