CalExotics Charmer Dual Ended Vibrator Review: My Little Snake Charmer! ;P

Never thought I'd enjoy having a snake in my garden, but here I am! The way his tail rattles is absolutely charming, but the head leaves me confused.

First and foremost, my streak of testing my toys on the charge they arrive with has been broken as this toy arrived utterly dead and needed placed on the charger before it could be used at all. So.. yay?! A bit disappointed in not being able to play almost right out of the box.

The head has a lovely shape that works well for clitoral and g-spot stimulation with a light bit of penetration, but...it's a toy I feel could've gotten away with a remote or an app for control as the power button being on the top of the snake head takes me out of the mindset for g-spot and penetration play. Deciding I want a higher setting and having the snake retreat to do so, ruins the mood a bit and makes a bigger mess than necessary.

The rattle end is great for all play and kept me in the moment since it's an uninterrupted surface and I had the ability to change the settings as I went with ease. The flex is super stiff and seems to keep the shape it's placed in with no trouble at all, which I could see being a benefit for more experienced and/or curious users.

Packaging

This package is absolutely gorgeous and if you don't already know I'm utter sucker for book style boxes, can't explain it, just love it!

To keep in theme with the color of the toy, CalExotics wrapped the whole box in purple coloring and white text. The front cover has an actual size picture of the toy front and center with "Pretty Little Wands" written across it in beautiful font with filigree style bordering.

Also on the front is the company name, the product name, 4 product features and 2 icons representing two of the features. Across the side panel of the book-style cover, as well as the inside panel of the cover, is the "Pretty Little Wands" written in the beautiful font with filigree bordering. The non-opening side panel is a bit boring and only shares 10 bulleted features in 4 different languages. The back of the box features another actual size photo of the toy with CalExotics' usual diagram style of sharing features, 4 of which have lines connecting to parts of the toy, 7 that are bulleted, and 3 that are beside bubbled pictures showcasing different feature aspects.

I'll give CalExotics credit, they make pretty nice boxes! The Jack Rabbit had an elegant almost cigar lounge style look to it and I loved the way the cover opened for it once the sleeve was off. The Vixen had a beach vibe that was right up my alley in design but a bit chintzy in how it was put together. The Charmer is more elegant in nature, attempting to lure potential users in with its lavish coloring, font style and magnetically clasped covering. Much like I did with the other CalExotics' toys, I wish they would've included a pouch, could've been a cute little weaved one to keep the theme.

Hate the lack of pouch, and not much else to say about the rest lol.

Flex It Baby! ;P

One main feature of the CalExotics Charmer is the fact that it is flexible. It has a very stiff neck that once bent into place will stay there, unless firmly reshaped. This may make certain play styles a bit more enjoyable, especially since it's also dual headed.
