Perfect Pet Play Piece

This product by Daddieslittlemonsterz.com is a great addition for some pet play fun. I really enjoyed the dog bone look of this bit gag. The bows add a cute little accent and give it a nice aesthetic. I have Ehler's Danlos, so that means my joints don't always work like they are supposed to. I have found bit gags to be a safer and more comfortable option for me. This was the best of both worlds being both a bit gag and a dog bone shape!

The bone part is 5in (12.7cm) long, 1in (2.54cm) in width in the middle and 2in (5.08cm) in width on the ends. The holed strap measures 10.5in (26.67cm) and the buckle side is 6.5in (16.51cm). The biggest it can adjust to is 6in (15.24cm) from the gag to behind the neck. The smallest it can adjust to is 3in (7.62cm). Unfortunately, this is not compatible for someone who needs more width. There is no room to add anymore holes or to sew in a longer strap. My best option would be to message the seller. There is a contact page on the site and the seller messages back within a week or two.

Sturdy and Well Made

The product is handmade from the shop Daddieslittlemonsterz.com. It is made with cruelty free faux leather, fabric bows and body safe silicone. The website offers a small selection of different color options for the bows and bones. There is also an option for set bedazzled lettering that says, "Bad Puppy", without the bows. The stitch work is neat, and the end buckle is sturdy. I really like the buckle shape as it feels very secure as it is being worn. There is a minor concern about the bone easily collecting hairs and fluffs. But that is normal for this material and is an easy rinse off.

Flexible and Chewy 😋

It is made from silicone and has a smooth texture. Because the bone part connects to the straps internally, it creates a hollow inside. It creates a space that makes a good sensory experience when chewing the bone. It definitely helps be in that pet headspace. Something to be aware of, is that the way the bone sits upright and doesn't lay in the mouth flat. It can make the product a little more uncomfortable on the jaw if one has joint issues. This is still the most comfortable gag I have used as it still is narrow enough to not overexert my jaw too much.

I really enjoyed the product. It felt comfortable in the mouth on a tighter adjustment. I only start having pain if I wear it longer than 45 minutes. The bone is really fun to chew on during the play. I feel that helps be in pet space while you have it in the mouth. The straps stayed in place well. Unless there was a lot of rough housing it would stay in place. The bows went well with some of the other accessories I wear for pet play, so the style matched.

Materials and care

Easy Clean and Store

I wash the bone part in warm water and hand soap. I usually let it air dry, and it takes only a couple minutes to completely dry. I have not had any issues if I accidentally get the straps wet, but it does take a bit longer for the bows to dry than the rest of it. The straps fold over well so it can store easily in a small bag.

How it looks in the bank account is not very discreet. It says the name of the store on the statement. The packing was discreet and very cute, the company really went above and beyond. The boxes have shredded paper and always include stickers with a small gift. I have gotten a size 10 fidget ring and a handful of cute Hello Kitty stickers.
