Design

This glass dildo is designed with two sides. The first side is curved with a pointed head at the end. It’s designed for G-spot stimulation. In the middle of the toy is a flared divider, separating the two sides and providing protection to stop the toy from being inserted too far.

The other end of the toy is ribbed, similar to anal beads. There are three balls formed together, with the largest of the three at the top, descending in size. The toy is 8 inches long; with a curved end measuring approximately 4.5 inches, and the opposite end measures roughly 3 inches.

Experience

Oil-based lubricant was my best friend with this toy. I found that it was very easy to insert and comfortable to use. I always worry that rigid or non-silicone toys will be too hard on my body, but this one is the perfect size and shape. It’s a sexy, thoughtfully made toy.

The flared middle lets you insert the toy and get to work on external stimulation. Other dildos don’t stay in place the way this one does, so you always end up having to readjust or multitask. I don’t like to pat my head and rub my stomach at the same time.

Quality

This toy’s quality is superb. It’s a single piece of hand-blown glass, carefully shaped. There are no seams, marks, or chips in the glass. It’s completely smooth. You can easily see through it, and it shines in the light. The toy comes with a silk storage bag, which I highly recommend using. While the dildo is made of a thick piece of glass, I would recommend being careful. It doesn’t feel fragile, but I wouldn’t put it to the test.

Price

The Gläs G-Spot Dildo is currently on sale for $20.40 on the Gläs website, with its original price coming in at $34. At either of those prices, this toy is a steal, and I can’t recommend this purchase enough. It always surprises me when quality toys like this are so inexpensive. I do start to wonder if something is amiss, but from everything I’ve experienced with this toy, I don’t see a reason not to buy.

Performance

The Gläs 8” Ribbed Dildo performs wonderfully. I used an oil-based lubricant with it because it lasts longer than other lubricants and feels better on my body. With a little lube, playtime was simple, easy, and exciting right from the start. The flared middle is the most practical aspect of this toy. Without it, the performance would be lacking, and the toy wouldn’t be nearly as safe to use.

Packaging

This toy came in a cardboard box, wrapped in protective cushioning. There was no need for any accessories, this toy needs nothing to help it shine. All the information you need about the toy is on the box, though if you have other questions, I recommend looking at the website.

Materials and care

The toy is simple to clean. Wash it thoroughly with warm water and soap, use toy cleaner, or at the very least wipe down with a wet wipe. I did notice that the glass can remain cloudy after cleaning, and I’m not sure why. As a result, I cleaned it again and polished it with a dry cloth and that seemed to help. I worry a little about it staining or staying cloudy, but only time will tell. There is no indication as to whether this toy can be placed in the dishwasher or not, but I would avoid it just in case.
