Hankey’s Toys The Plumber Dildo Review: Time for an Emergency Callout?

My verdict
Short, stubby, and with a massive head, the Plumber dildo from Hankey’s Toys wastes no time in getting right to the business of plugging your leaky pipes. This pleasurable plunger is great for those who either love the feeling of a pronounced head popping in and out, or for couples who love using a strap-on but struggle with longer toys and really want to feel their partner’s body push up against them as they take the full length.
Oh—and for people who fantasize about fucking Mario. I guess that’s a thing?

Design
The Plumber is not a particularly long toy, so no one should have any problem taking it all in. The only thing you need to worry about is the girth, because unlike actual plumbers that are paid by the hour, the Plumber from Hankey’s Toys goes in hard and fast. There’s very little tapering before you’re facing the full girth. It has an ever-so-slight curvature, so you want to angle this up towards your p/g-spot, but in this small size, I can’t say I noticed that element of the experience that much.
Also—just look at the glorious head on this thing:
While most of the Plumber is smooth but features a pronounced veiny pattern, you’re really going to feel this head as it pops in and out, offering a tantalising signal that your pipe has been well and truly stuffed.
If you like the look of this but think that the head might be a little too much for you, you can also opt to get the Plumber in 75% soft, which would reduce the sensation a little. But if you do go this route, consider sizing up as well, which will leave you feeling a lot more stuffed.
We opted to try this in the standard firmness, and Small size, though two other sizes are available. Medium/Large, and Large/XL.
Small size features a maximum circumference of 7″ around the rim, rising to 10″ on the Medium/Large, and a whopping 13″ inches on the Large/XL. However, the insertable length ranges from a mere 5″ in Small, all the way up to 8.9″ on the Large/XL.
We also opted for a natural tan color, but a whole range of standard colors are available—or you can opt for a custom color or marble options that Hankey’s Toys offers throughout their range (for extra cost).
Experience
Like most Hankey’s Toys, you have the option of a Vaculock hole on the base, either for strap-on, suction cup adaptor, or fucking machine use—all of which the Plumber is well suited to.
We used a heavy-duty strap-on (also from the Hankey’s Toys site), which comes with a selection of O-ring sizes to secure your favourite toys, and worked great with the Plumber. In fact, it was probably one of my favourite strap-on experiences yet. I loved the intimacy and raw power that my partner was able to offer with this. Often with pegging, you need to be careful not to go too hard or fast. But with this, she could just go to town on me, ramming all the way in without fear of me crying out in pain.
I also tried it on a fucking machine (read my round-up of the best fucking machines), and was left feeling utterly plugged. It’s a simple but mind-blowing sensation as that head pops in and out.
When it comes to clean up, the Plumber is made of platinum cure silicone, which means it’s super easy to clean with a quick rinse under the tap with some hand soap being sufficient in most cases. But if you need something a little stronger, either the dishwasher (without any tablets), or a large pan of boiling water with a touch of bleach to get rid of any unwanted smells. And if you’re sanitizing it well then it’s perfectly safe to share between partners or swap anal and vaginal use.
