My verdict

The Screaming O Cuties Winny packs a punch. Tiny vibes are always hit or miss, but Screaming O Cuties hit the mark. They seemingly took a full-size wand and shrunk it down to 3 inches. Complete with 10 vibration options, the Winny is everything you could ask for from a wand, all in a convenient and adorable package. The battery is rechargeable and has a runtime of 120 minutes, which is easily as long, if not longer than, that of most regular-sized toys. I’ve tried several small vibrators and mini wands, but I've never seen such a long battery life, a waterproof rating, and such powerful speed and patterns as the Winny Wand. There are a few small, technical issues with the wand. However, the wand is a satisfying toy overall. As vibrators become more and more commonplace, it’s important to have a functional vibrator that travels easily. Toys like the Winny encourage women’s pleasure, allowing them to bring a vibrator to their partners’ house, on a trip, or to stow in their purse before a big date.

Pros

Long battery life
Waterproof
Powerful vibes
Easy to navigate controls

Cons

The neck is too flexible
Pattern settings go from strong to soft

Design

I for one am a sucker for seafoam green. The Winny Wand I received is coated in seafoam green silicone with a silver cap on the end of the handle. The silicone is textured with a hexagonal/honeycomb-like pattern on the head and handle.

The buttons match the hexagonal shape of the ribbing. There are two buttons on the side of the handle; the bottom is power, and the top changes the vibration setting. Self-healing silicone allows the toy to be charged and remain waterproof after being unplugged. Overall, the Winny Wand has an aesthetically pleasing, modern design, which is really refreshing. Typically, mini wands look like party favors; they’re brightly colored, novelty toys. The Winny Wand doesn’t give in to that stereotype.

The biggest design flaw in this toy is the overly flexible neck. Usually, the necks of wands have moderate give. This allows you to apply pressure to a desired area. With a neck as flexible as the Winny Wand’s, the harder you push down on the toy, the less pressure you get. This is because the neck can be bent 90 degrees, so when you push, the head turns away from where you want it to be.

Experience

I thoroughly enjoyed using the Winny Wand. There are 3 settings out of the ten that I recommend. The first setting is the most powerful. It’s a consistent vibration, and it’s strong. The second one that liked is the 4th. It’s a pattern that sort of rolls, like one large wave, and feels lovely. The last is the 10th setting, which is one quick burst of vibration.

The buttons are super easy to use, so there’s no risk of getting confused while playing. My biggest critique of the Winny Wand is that the vibration patterns are in a weird order. As soon as you turn the toy on, it’s in its fastest, most powerful vibration setting. Then it descends in power and intensity. Personally, and I imagine this is true for many users, I prefer to start out slowly and build up. Unfortunately, this isn’t possible with the Winny Wand. You have to start out strong, or be willing to cycle back to the beginning.

However, if you’re more of a patterned vibration person or like to maintain the same speed/pattern throughout your session, then I wouldn’t worry about it.

Quality

The Winny Wand has a killer battery life, is rechargeable, waterproof, and is made of quality materials. It fits comfortably in your hand, with added texture to the handle making it easy to grip. For a type of toy that’s usually a party favor in a bachelorette goody bag, it’s very well made.

Price

For $29.95, this is a great purchase. I could see it being the perfect vibe to keep in a drawer at your partner’s house, or an excellent, discreet vibe to bring with “just in case” on a date. Around $30 is a reasonable price for this product.

Performance

The Winny Wand runs for 120 minutes continuously on a full battery. It’s powerful, has loads of options, and is ultra-smooth on your skin. I don’t know what more you can ask from a toy’s performance.

Materials and care

The Winny Wand is fully waterproof, making it a cinch to clean. Using warm water and anti-bacterial, non-scented soap, gently scrub any residue off the toy. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. Be sure to wait until the toy is fully dry to charge. Do not charge the toy while wet or submerged. The charging cable plugs into the side of the handle, piercing the silicone. The silicone will self-heal after the cord is removed.
