Design
We love toys that glow, and after our luminous dildo adventure, we couldn’t resist checking out this vibrant little number: the Swan Mini Wand Glow in the Dark. We went for the pink version, which turns into a soft glowing orange after charging under light. 😅
At just 12.1 cm long and 2.8 cm wide, the first surprise was honestly the size. This thing is really mini with a weight of around 50 g, it feels super light in the hand.
Material & Form
The body-safe silicone is smooth and seamless, but not squishy or soft like some other toys we’ve tested. It has a firm feel, a slight curve, and a bulbous tip that hints it could double as a light G-spot stimulator, but clearly, it’s made primarily for external use.
The whole design is quite minimal: one single button, located right above the Swan logo, controls everything. It uses press and hold controls, and while that’s great for travel, it’s not the most intuitive in the moment. But while we're talking about travel, this little guy also has a travel lock which is good for preventing unpleasant buzzing in the travel bag when visiting the parents. 😉 There’s also a tiny embossed charging port on the bottom, which takes a pin-style USB cable, and no we’re not fans of that type. It works, but it’s a bit fussy.
Visual Style
Design-wise, the Mini Swan Wand definitely has that Swan/BMS energy with its bold colors and sleek lines. The glow in the dark feature gives it some playful flair, but make no mistake: this isn’t a luxury design in disguise. It’s cheerful, it’s bright, it’s fun, but it won’t be winning any awards for elegance.

Experience
Getting started
The Mini Swan Wand charges in about 2 hours and promises roughly the same in runtime, which checks out in our experience. The control is classic Swan: you press and hold the single button to ramp up the intensity. There’s just one pattern, and honestly we love that. We’re big fans of toys that either do one thing really well or go all out with features. This one is clearly in the "one job, done right" category.
The button itself is solid with a satisfying click, but the first time we turned it on, we actually weren’t sure it was working. The lowest setting is super subtle, and almost felt like nothing. 😅
But once it kicks in, and you keep holding the button it gets surprisingly powerful. Still, we had this odd feeling like something was getting lost in translation. It’s like the outer silicone layer dampens the intensity a bit. The vibrations are deep and rumbly at first, but as you climb the scale, they start to lean buzzy which is a transition we’ve noticed in a few Swan toys.
A niche all its own
Honestly, this little guy carved out a perfect niche. It’s amazing for clitoral stimulation on more sensitive days. The gentle first levels are perfect when you want a soft tease, and the form is so easy to handle and position. It basically stays exactly where you want it without effort.
A small take on shallow play
What surprised us most is how incredibly well this toy works for shallow penetration. It’s something that doesn’t get enough love in the toy world. For many vulva owners, that first 2–4 cm at the entrance is one of the most sensitive zones. The Mini Swan Wand nestles into that space beautifully, without pressure or over stretching. The slim, curved shape makes it easy to slide in just a little, then back out, in a gentle rhythm that’s not about deep thrusting but about teasing and awakening. Shallow penetration can enhance arousal, increase natural lubrication, and make deeper stimulation feel way more intense. For us, it’s become a go-to technique when the goal is more sensation, not just depth.
Leni's technique
While the Mini Swan Wand isn’t my favorite for G-spot exploration (it's just too short for that), I really found my groove with it in another sweet spot: shallow penetration combined with clitoral stimulation. That’s where this toy shines because it’s not about depth, instead it’s about precision and nuance. The gentle curve and lightweight design make it super easy to guide just barely past the entrance, while the smaller side stays on the clit, giving you a two-in-one sensation that feels surprisingly full despite the toy’s size.
I often use it by gliding it just inside the vaginal opening and pulling it back out, that surface-level motion is where a lot of my pleasure builds. Especially during certain phases of my cycle when sensitivity changes, this toy is gentle enough not to overwhelm but still stimulating enough to get me close or over the edge. While it doesn’t replace a G-spot toy or outperform our more intense bullet during partner play, it’s become a real favorite for solo sessions when subtlety, not power, is the vibe.
Glow quirks & couple vibes
We have to mention this: that LED is ridiculously bright. Like not glow in the dark fun, more like “mini flashlight in your bed” energy. Worse, it doesn’t even completely turn off when you shut the toy off. It stays lit for a long time, and at first we thought we did something wrong, but that’s just what it does.
Also, despite its small size, it’s louder than we expected. Not obnoxious, but definitely noticeable under a blanket. And the sound profile is a bit cheap sounding, which kind of breaks the premium illusion a bit.
As for Karl he doesn’t use it solo, but it’s become a guest during oral. While I'm busy with his balls, he’ll sneak it to tease the head or frenulum especially during edging. It’s gentle enough to be interesting without being overwhelming, and we highly recommend giving that a try. 😉
One more thing from Leni...
The button placement could be better, it’s right in the middle of the curve which means if you insert it a little deeper, you’re basically pressing it inside yourself. However, the curve overall is brilliant and it lets you switch between wider and narrower contact effortlessly. This is especially noticeable when doing slow gliding motions across the vulva and just inside the entrance. You’d be surprised how much that alternating contact lights things up.

Quality
Overall, the Mini Swan Wand delivers a solid quality baseline, but it doesn’t quite enter luxury territory. The silicone feels smooth, but not plush or premium. There’s a visible seam where the silicone ends, and while you can feel it with your hand, it doesn’t really register during use.
The button is great having a nice click, is responsive, and is easy to use. But once we move to the vibrations, we’re a bit more on the fence. They’re strong (especially at higher levels), but there’s something in the way they’re delivered that just feels muffled. Like there’s a thick barrier between the motor and your body, which makes the power less direct and more diffused than we’d like.
And let’s talk sound: the toy isn’t loud loud, but once you crank it up, the motor definitely starts to whine in a way that feels a bit cheap. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely not as discreet or refined as some other vibes we own.
On the plus side the battery life is great. It charges reliably and easily lasts as advertised. We’ve had no issues with power fading over time, and the motor has held up well. It just doesn’t give that “premium finish” feeling we’ve gotten from some other toys in our collection.
Not bad by any means, but glow aside, we kind of hoped it would shine just a bit more in this category too.

Price
Let’s be real: the price is all over the place. You’ll find it listed anywhere from €90 to around €58 in sales (roughly $95–$100 full price, or $60 on sale). And honestly, unless you’re catching it on sale, we wouldn’t recommend paying the full amount. It’s cute, compact, and fits into a really specific niche, but €90 is a bit much for what it delivers.
In a good discount window, it becomes a lot more tempting.
This toy really shines for folks who want a gentler, shallower vibe experience. We’d possibly buy it again, especially for what it adds to our collection. But it’s definitely not the strongest performer overall, and there are other options out there (even within Swan’s own line) that hit harder, last longer, and are quieter. For example, Swan’s own Maximum Bullet is cheaper, way more intense on high settings, and still manages to feel a bit more “premium.”
What this mini wand nails is the subtlety with a soft starting power, ergonomic design, and sensitivity-friendly use. That makes it a great entry-level vibe or a backup for sensitive days. Whether it sticks around long-term in our top drawer remains to be seen… but for now, it’s earning its spot.

Performance
Karl: Let me kick this one off, because my part’s going to be short. As we mentioned earlier, the Mini Swan Wand isn’t exactly built for me, but I still enjoy it in certain ways. It’s more of an enhancer during couple play. I like how light and small it is, how easy it is to introduce into a session without it getting in the way. I’ve used it occasionally during blowjobs, or when Leni is doing her thing and I want to add a bit of stimulation to my frenulum or shaft.
On its own, though it doesn’t do much for me. I barely feel it when it’s in use during sex, and the vibrations don’t quite reach me the way other toys might. But as a low-effort, no-hassle addition, it's a solid team player. 😉
Leni: This little thing gets me there. Despite all the small issues we mentioned, like the average vibration quality, the bright light, the noise, it still manages to deliver really strong orgasms.
The curved shape just works for me. I don’t always need deep G-spot stimulation; sometimes what really gets me going is that combo of shallow internal vibrations and external teasing, and this toy does that so well.
It’s one of the only vibrators I use where I actually enjoy internal vibrations. Most of the time, I stick to external toys, but the size, curve, and gentler power come together in a way that feels balanced. Almost like a blended orgasm. Not overwhelming, not pinpoint, but deep and spreading especially around the entrance, which is honestly where a lot of women (including me!) feel very big arousal.
I tend to use it by gliding it just inside, then pulling back toward the clit, and repeating. The toy’s shape lets both the thick vibrating end and the thinner side stimulate me as I move even though only one end has the motor. That makes it feel more immersive than you'd expect from something this small.
In short, it’s not a G-spot toy, not really. It’s a shallow, sensitive-day, dual-sensation delight; that’s where it shines for me.

Packaging
So here’s the thing: the packaging is definitely cohesive and stylized, but also not really our vibe. The outer box is a mix of deep navy and black, with reflective metallic lines and a glow font that honestly gives us some throwback vibes, like something you’d see in an old-school sex toy shop from the early 2000s. It’s flashy, kinda fun, but a little kitsch if you’re into more minimal design.
That said, it is fully committed to its aesthetic. On the sides and back, you’ll find multilingual feature breakdowns and a short English blurb about the vibe itself.
Open the box, though, and the magic continues with its has a magnetic flap closure that is super satisfying with just the right resistance. Inside, things are set up a bit like what you’d expect from Satisfyer: on the inside of the flap, you’ll find visual instructions printed right onto the packaging, and the toy is showcased behind a thin clear plastic window. Pull that tray out and the toy is nestled in some flimsy, low-grade plastic.
Below the tray, you’ll find the charging cable (wrapped in paper — yay, less plastic!), a user manual, a small branded card, and a satin storage pouch that actually feels pretty luxe. It’s thicker and sturdier than some of the cheap pouches we’ve had with other toys, though it does lean more plastic-y than fabric-soft.
Overall, it’s a well-thought-out unboxing with some premium touches, but it does fall just short of feeling truly high end. It is stylish but the materials and presentation could use a little glow-up to match the toy’s price point.

Materials and care
The Mini Swan Wand is made from body-safe silicone with a smooth matte finish, and while the packaging claims it’s “100% soft and seamless,” we’d say it lands somewhere between standard and almost great. It’s not the most premium feeling silicone we’ve tried, and is a bit on the cool, smooth, and slightly firm side. There’s one visible seam along the side, which you won’t really notice during use, but it’s still there when you run your fingers over it.
It’s not very squishy, and it doesn’t feel particularly thick or plush or silky which is something we’ve come to appreciate in other high end toys. Still, this kind of finish is becoming more of a baseline standard across the industry, so while we’re not blown away, it’s also not bad. It does its job, just don’t expect velvety luxury here.
Use only water-based lubes, as always. And one small tip: don’t let silicone toys cuddle too hard in your drawer because if they’re stored touching each other too long, the materials can degrade or fuse.
Cleaning is super straightforward thanks to the waterproof design. A quick rinse with warm water and a bit of mild soap or toy cleaner does the trick. There aren’t many tricky grooves to deal with, though you should still be careful around the charging port. It’s fairly well sealed, but better safe than sorry.

Glow Check & Safety Talk
Let’s be honest: we’re suckers for glowing toys. The moment we saw “Glow in the Dark” on the box, we knew we had to try it. And yes, technically it glows, but it’s more of a soft, ambient vibe than a full-blown nightlight. There’s no inner core glowing through the silicone here. Instead, the surface itself is coated, and after some sunlight (or a lamp session), it gives off a warm orange glow in the dark. It is cool but not a head-turner like our luminous dildo with its see through glowing core. That thing’s got stage presence. 😅
That said, the glow here does last pretty long. Charge it well and you’ll still spot it during a midnight fumble under the blanket. Perfect for pitch-black toy hunts.
Now the real question: Is it safe?
This toy likely uses phosphor-based luminescence, which feels a bit vintage. Unlike newer, safer materials like strontium aluminate, phosphor can raise a few more eyebrows, especially when it’s in the coating you’re rubbing on your body. Most toy-safe phosphor compounds aren’t toxic in small amounts, especially when sealed inside medical-grade silicone like here, but long-term wear, surface damage, or bad manufacturing could make that a grey area.
We couldn’t find anything alarming from BMS Factory (they’re a solid brand), but you won’t find official glow compound ingredients listed either, which always leaves us slightly suspicious. So if you are ultra cautious about chemical exposure, we’d say: maybe skip the glow and go for a standard color version.
Bottom line
Fun gimmick, mildly spooky glow, and probably safe — but not 100% transparency from the brand on what’s actually glowing here. We’ll keep using ours (it hasn’t bitten us yet), but it’s something to be aware of. Keep it clean, dry, and don’t let it spoon your other silicone toys. Safety first, glowing pleasure second. 🌙✨

Is It Worth It?
If you’re paying full price (around €90 / $95), it’s a tough sell. That’s luxury toy territory, and frankly, the Swan Wand doesn’t quite reach that level in build or motor power. But if you find it on sale then it becomes a much more tempting little wildcard. Especially for folks who value shape, accessibility, and gentle power over overwhelming intensity.
It won’t replace your favorite bullet or double as a deep G-spot toy. But for sensitive play, exploration, and as a quirky glowy companion we’re glad we have it.
And if you’ve got questions, or have your own glowing experience to share, we’d love to hear it in the comments. Let’s swap tips and favorites. ✨
