My verdict
Pros
- Great value: stainless steel tubes and solid cuffs
- Endlessly customizable; it's a bondage playground
- Hismith-compatible; connect your fucking machine!
- Well made and durable
Cons
- Ergonomics clearly not tested on humans
- Neck cuff isn't quick-release
- Needs technical confidence to build
I love being restrained. The stricter, the better. And I'm a big fan of DIY projects. So when I found the Stainless Steel Slave frame, I got genuinely excited—it looked like a fun bit of kit that could be reconfigured endlessly. A LEGO set for perverts.
As a bonus, it uses 25mm steel tube—the same size as the Hismith Premium Fucking Machine. And the same tube connectors. I think you know where this is going: The ultimate bondage furniture with an integrated fucking machine? Errr, fuck yes.

You'll need to consider sizing when you order. Male and female options are available, as well as round or oval wrist and ankle cuffs. I went for rounded male cuffs (6cm diameter), but my wife can’t escape them either despite her much smaller wrists, so they seem fairly universal.
Nosey Neighbors? Not to Worry!
Obviously, ordering something called a steel bondage frame can raise a few privacy concerns. You don’t want that phrase plastered on a customs declaration. Thankfully, it ships labelled as a “steel rack”, which sounds more like a sensible heavy-duty storage solution than a dungeon setup.
The box is plain cardboard, and even if it were to burst open on your doorstep, it just looks like a bunch of tubing. You’d have to really know what you’re looking at to clock the cuffs—which are mostly buried inside anyway. Everything came neatly bubble-wrapped to protect the steel’s finish, which arrived without a scratch.
Construction: Easier Than IKEA
Since you’re getting a box of tubes and connectors, there's a fair bit of construction involved. But if you're even vaguely technically inclined, it's dead simple: insert tube, bolt it in, repeat.
I made my wife build it on camera though. Turns out, my assumptions about her mechanical competence were... optimistic. Let’s just say you’ll want to refer to the photos regularly.

Two of the tubes are slightly smaller in diameter and fit into the mid-section this allows you to fine-tune the length for different body types, particularly adjusting the ankle cuff bar forward or backward. Other than that, it’s relatively idiot-proof.
You get two 3-way connectors for the structural anchor points, and the rest are basic T-bar style. It’s usually obvious where each goes—unless you’ve lost the plot halfway through assembly.

The wrist and ankle cuffs are pre-attached to their steel bars, so you can’t really mess those up. The neck cuff is the one bit that takes some fiddling: attach the chains (two longer ones on the sides, shorter ones for top and bottom), clip them to the frame’s tie points, and you're ready to go.
Safety First: Because Dead Subs Are a Buzzkill
Let’s talk safety—because while being tied up is fun, accidentally choking out your partner mid-session is more than a mild inconvenience.
All the cuffs close with small bolts holding the two halves together on one side. Four hex tools are supplied, which is oddly generous—presumably that's one to use, and three to lose. You can’t open the cuffs without a hex key, and even with one, they’re a bit fiddly.

That’s mostly fine for wrists and ankles. If someone struggles while you try to loosen them, no big deal. But the neck cuff? That gave me pause. It holds you in a very strict, immobile position, and the idea of having to fiddle with a hex bolt mid-panic is… less than ideal.

My solution was to swap the bolts for quick-release locking pins with pull rings; you'll see those being used throughout this review if you look carefully. At the very least, do this for the neck cuff. I couldn’t find anything locally in the right size, so I designed my own printable version—you’ll find the STL linked here. PLA is fine, thanks to the orientation of the layer lines. It doesn’t need support material, and it adds a vital margin of safety without compromising the experience.
What’s It Like?
There’s something undeniably thrilling about cold, unforgiving steel clamped around your limbs. The feeling of absolute helplessness when you know there’s no wriggling out? Sublime.
Unfortunately, my first proper session was less than erotic. The default configuration of the frame was awkward as hell. And not in a sexy way. To say it “didn’t work for me” would be generous. I’m just too top-heavy, apparently. Tucking my knees in helped a bit, but it still put far too much strain on my shoulders. After less than a minute of suffering, I had to uncuff my arms and reposition them further forward. The wrist (and to a lesser degree, the ankle cuffs) are just too close together.
My wife had more luck, but even she found the position tiring and ultimately not that fun, which made me worry more about her safety than the scene itself.

Sometimes I genuinely wonder whether these Chinese manufacturers test their designs on human beings. Or are they using limp sex dolls? The ergonomics here feel like an afterthought; if they were a thought at all.
The Good News: It's Bondage LEGO
But here’s where it redeems itself. It is basically LEGO for bondage. That’s what makes it brilliant. So I spent the next week dreaming up new configurations and sketching them out.

My first redesign involved their arms being pulled forward. The sub then has their head pulled back—in my case, with a custom gag harness—but you could equally tie them by their hair if you're better at rigging. I used some basic cuffs and a small chain to spread her legs.

I also tried flipping the entire setup on edge to create a kind of blowjob trainer restraint, locking the head and hands in position while spreading the legs.
Once you realize you can reconfigure things, it becomes endlessly customizable. You'll probably want to pick up a few extra lengths of the tubing and some connectors, but they're standard sizes so that's no big deal.
Hooking Up a Fucking Machine
Here’s where things get really devious.
Because the Hismith Premium machine uses the same 25mm tubes and connector format, you can mount it directly to the frame. The simplest method is to use the rear ankle cuff bar as a replacement leg on the machine. Just undo the connector and reattach (note: you'll need the connector style where each half can be completely separated. Grab one from here if you don't).

If you need more adjustability, grab an extra connector. Rotate the leg 90 degrees, then fix it using the additional connector so the machine can slide backward or forward to suit your body.

And don’t forget—you’re not limited to traditional orientation. Mount the machine sideways, upside-down, or hanging off a crossbar if that works better for your anatomy. The whole setup is modular. The only real limit is your imagination (and possibly your flexibility).
