Tracy's Dog Swirlii Review — Rotation AND Vibration in a Small Package!

Design

Soft, Smooth, and Lavender

Once we opened the discreet packaging containing the Swirlii, we were met with a soft matte lavender toy that looks as smooth as it feels. The thicker 360° rotating head sits behind the soft and flexible silicone finger and tapers down to the base. At the front of the base, the toy becomes flexible again, which is great for positioning the clit stimulating vibrator where you need it. The remote is fairly standard. It comes with a battery and a pull tab to get power flowing. The charger is a simple USB-A to a magnetic connector. It snaps effortlessly to the toy and charges fully in about 2 hours from dead. The only gripe we have with the design is that the remote has a battery compartment secured by a small screw, which can be a hassle for some.

Quality

Sturdy with Powerful Rotation

The Swirlii feels great in the hand. It does not feel cheap. The vibrations feel decent, but they are not the strongest we have seen in toys. What really surprised us is how well the 360° rotating head worked even under stress! The very first thing we did was grip the rotating head and turn it on. We tried all 3 patterns, and we are fairly sure that it will rotate even if clenching tightly around it. This sturdy toy should be able to withstand normal casual use, and possibly some rougher use like riding or thrusting. My partner is not the gentlest when it comes to play, and the toy is still kicking! So I would say that is a good mark.

Experience

Solo-

My partner’s solo experience was not the best, according to them. The Swirlii definitely does what it advertises. It vibrates, and it rotates. But with a toy as small as it is, and with the multiple motors, the battery life does tend to deplete fairly quickly. During solo play, the battery did in fact die on my partner.  I’m not saying that the battery life is too short for a fun time — The Swirlii has about 4 hours of play, give or take — but if you are looking for prolonged use and play, you may want to look for something with more battery life or refrain from using vibration and rotation at the same time when going for a marathon. (In the event of my partner, they were using it while playing games for a long period) Regardless, my partner had expressed the same experience as before. It feels good. The rotation and the vibration are both fun as well. The toy is smooth, a good size for them, but it isn’t a toy that she would go for when searching for an orgasm. The Swirlii, however, is great for warming her up, and she has expressed that it gets her very wet and ready for the next event!

Couple-

The Swirlii, for us, is great for prolonged teasing before the main event. As stated before, for my partner’s sensitivity level, the toy alone is not enough to reach an orgasm. Mileage will vary based on your individual sensitivity level. I personally enjoy the fun of having the swirlii in my partner while at home as we do our daily activities, so I can give them a little jolt here and there! I’m a little...annoying at times and like to activate the toy when they are focusing on games…but the punishment after is totally worth it. While using the Swirlii together in bed, I was essentially the toy holder and controller until my partner said it was enough and set the toy aside for other activities. The vibration's intensity left my partner wanting more, but it was still enough to get her in the mood.

Performance

Simple, fun, yet left us wanting more

The Swirlii has decent vibration with 10 different vibration settings and a strong 360° rotational head with 3 different settings. That gives a user a total of 30 combinations they can explore! But, for my partner, the third vibration setting is her favorite, as well as the third setting for the rotational head, which is the strongest, consistent buzz and rotation speed of the toy. For my partner, the vibration is something she needs to be stronger since she has a lower sensitivity to it. It may be perfect for others, though, and the many options available mean you can find your preferred settings with ease.

As for using the Swirlii, it's fairly straightforward. Press and hold the power button on the toy utill it lights up and you feel a light initial buzz. Use the remote to activate either the rotational head or the vibration. Repeatedly press the buttons to switch patterns of the rotation or vibration. To turn off either, you can press and hold the corresponding buttons on the remote, or turn off the toy by holding it's power button until the toy powers down. The remote does not need to be turned on or off.

Materials and care

Easy to Maintain

The Swirlii's surface is an ultra-soft silicone that is hypoallergenic, body safe, and comfortable to use. With lube or natural fluids, the toy is easy to insert and use with no discomfort. The toy is completely waterproof and has no areas for liquid to enter the internals of the toy. The remote is small and simple with 2 buttons — one button for vibration patterns and the other for rotation speed — and a battery compartment secured by a micro screw. I would not use the remote in water or assume it is waterproof too. The Swirlii come with a storage bag as well for when it is not in use, which will fit the remote and the toy with ease.

Extra Discreet Packaging

The packaging of the Swirlii was very discreet. It arrived in an Amazon box (since it was ordered and processed through Amazon for me) with no indication that it was an adult toy. Upon opening the package, there was a black box with some packaging paper. Once you take off the black heatwrap, the Swirlii box can be seen in it's full glory.

The inside of the package contains the Swirlii and its remote, 3 small packets of water-based lubrication, user and safety manuals, a warranty card, a storage bag, 3 Tracy's Dog stickers, and a storage case. This is more than I usually find within a toy's box, so it was a great surprise!

Price

I spent $40 for the whole package!

For what it is worth, I do think $40 is fair for the Swirlii. The quality is good, and it seems durable enough to get $40 worth of use and fun out of it and then some. Plus, the extras included in the package are nice! The Lube, the storage case, and the stickers make me feel as if Tracy's Dog cares about the end user's experience with the toy from unboxing to after it's put away. The price of the Swirlii does fluctuate, but usually stays at $52.00 at the highest and around $35 with sales. I always advocate for taking a deal, but I would buy this product at this price range.
