The We-Vibe Jibe isn’t a bad toy by any means, but it works best as an accompaniment rather than the main course. At an RRP of $130, it’s also quite a pricey option, even if it does offer rumblier vibes than the competition. If you don’t know how you feel about internal vibrations, that’s a lot to spend on a punt to find out.
Pros
Could be fun to play in public.
Quiet, and comfortable to wear all day.
Rumbly internal vibrations will tease you endlessly.
Cons
… but won’t make you orgasm.
Pricey.
Can be awkward to pair with the app and constant connectivity issues.
The Jive offers strictly internal vibrations only. That little tail you see hanging outside is for toy retrieval, charging, and as a Bluetooth antenna only. It doesn’t slide up against your clit and offer any sort of external vibrations. As a “love egg”, it sits inside you, and doesn’t require you to hold it in place (though you might enjoy clamping down on it). It’s a truly hands-free toy, and can be used while out and about in public without fear of getting funny looks.
The Jive connects to the WeVibe app, which offers remote play potential for those with a partner across the world in a long-distance relationship, or just across the table from them.
It offers fairly deep and rumbly vibrations, which feel good—but may not be enough to get you off since they’re internal only. And when we compared to a cheap mini-wand, the vibes from the We-Vibe came out mediocre, at best. The shallower the ripples, the less powerful it is. Anything that causes water to splash is usually a winner, in our boo. The We-Vibe Jive did not make any splashes.
The short video only shows the Jive on its highest level, but it also has a good range of power, so if you do find it too stimulating, you can tone it down a lot to something more comfortable. There are four basic power modes and six patterns accessible from the single button situated on the tail.
The rounded main body is about 3 inches long and 1.5 inches wide, so it's easy to insert and barely noticeable when it's there. The tail adds another 4 inches, which stays on the outside. It’s pastel blue and made of body-safe smooth silicone, though there’s absolutely no squish to it.
Also on the end of the tail are the charging pins for the magnetic cable. A slow blue fading LED indicates it's charging.
How Does It Feel?
The We-Vibe Jive is not going to be the main course. It’s not even a starter. It’s more like a side dish to your starter. A bread roll, perhaps. Maybe even just the little knob of nicely-wrapped butter for your bread roll. But I think we’ve taken this analogy as far as it can go, so let’s just say: there's no chance you’ll cum from this alone. I don't usually like to speak in such absolute terms, but, just … no. Nor can it be worn during penetrative sex. That's not to say it doesn't offer anything of value to enhance your experience in other ways, but it's an accompaniment at best.
On the plus side, you can wear it throughout the day or while sitting down without discomfort, and no one would be able to hear it unless they had their ear to your crotch, in which case you have other problems.
We found the best use case was either while receiving oral or with some other external stimulation. I really wanted to add “as a discreet vibrator to use while out and about” to that list, but its tendency to lose connection makes that a bit of a fail too, at least when playing with a partner. You’ll have better luck if you hand over control of the toy completely and not attempt to have your partner join a remote session—just pair the toy directly to their phone. But even then, we found the phone had to be within about 50cm when under clothing, so your partner would need to sit extremely close to you or be adept at manipulating the phone screen blindly with one hand under a table.
When it does connect, the app offers some compelling features, and while it took a few attempts to pair, it is more fun than fiddling with the single button on the device that cycles through power levels and patterns. In addition to touch controls for intensity and a pattern mode (where you can adjust intensity and the type of pattern on a graphic display), you'll also find music beat-matching and ambient audio reactive modes. This would all be amazing if the Bluetooth was better.
I suppose you could use it for external stimulation as well, in a pinch, but unless this is your only toy, you probably have something more appropriate.
While many have praised the high power and rumbly vibes, it’s subjective. My wife found it mildly pleasurable, like sitting on a vibrating chair, but even on full power, it wasn’t enough to stop her in her tracks or beg for me to turn it off. That’s not because it was too buzzy—the vibrations are rumbly enough—but because it just didn’t do much for her. But again, I’ll emphasize that subjective thing: your experience may vary, and if you already know that you enjoy rumbly internal vibes, I suspect you won’t be disappointed.

Is It Time to Tango with The Jive?
In theory, a love egg stimulates from the inside out, providing a holistic vibration for all of your pelvis, including the happy bits. But we found it’s not very intense and doesn’t do all that much.
The Nobra Twincharger from a small German manufacturer Nobra’s Silicone Dreams is the strongest male vibrator ever. But it’s also one of the smartest, with dual, independent motors (hence the Twin bit of the name) offering a variety of interference patterns that’ll have your cock wobbling around in the most satisfying of ways. And if you get the digital controller, you can even hook it up to Windows.
Be honest now: who hasn’t wondered what alien sex might be like? Or perhaps dreamt of being abducted and given a thoroughly carnal examination by some exotic alien anal probe. I know I have.
John Thomas toys are here to help you answer that question, with their Alien Hooligan Platinum Silicone Dildo.
If you’re looking for a gag to force your partner to drink whatever fluids you want, your options are a tad limited. The new Oxballs Watersports gag is the only custom single-piece funnel gag on the market, but is it the piss gag you’ve been waiting for?
The Pulse Solo Interactive—a collaboration between Hot Octopuss and Kiiroo—is unlike any interactive male sex toy that you’ve tried before. While I love the various automated stroker machines that are available now, more often than not I play with a vibrator instead. Sure, it’s not a “realistic” sensation, but it can be more intense and better for playing with a partner. It’s a lot easier to tease with a vibrator than an automated stroker. What’s so special about the Pulse Solo Interactive?
Note that vibrations on your penis can be an acquired taste. If you’re not sure if it’ll be right for you, it might be worth having a go with a much cheaper wand vibrator first, just to get a feel for things.
This powerful A-spot tool is perfect for reaching internally and simultaneously giving G-spot and clitoral stimulation. It's app-enabled and has 8 powerful settings to choose from. Waterproof and USB rechargeable, this body-safe toy was one I was excited to review!
The Diosa Soft Touch Rabbit delivers a soft, cushy, and flexible experience with powerful vibrations. Its memory foam-like shaft offers gentle yet firm G-spot stimulation, while the pinpointed clitoral nub adds precise external pleasure. With its quiet, discreet design and waterproof body, it’s a great choice for first-time rabbit users or those seeking a gentle introduction to blended orgasms.
Tenga did not disappoint with this one, with a design that grabs your attention and a build that feels practical and sturdy. This vibrator falls in the mini vibrator niche, fitting perfectly in the palm of your hand but offering way more to hold on to than other vibes in its category. It looks like a rolled-up lipstick with a pointed soft tip featuring a little slit (which I love) for direct clit stimulation.
It comes with a build-up vibration setting that starts slow and goes up to mid-range buzzy intensity with a twist of the base (like winding up a real lipstick). The vibration intensity from lower to higher settings can be felt quite deep, but think more leg-stretching than toe-curling. It can be used solo or during partner play and has a good grip on it. The base dial can be screwed off to replace the battery when it runs out. The battery is kind of a downside; this vibrator ticks all the boxes of premium, but the battery limits use (it can be replaced, but who likes popping in batteries every session or two?).
I took it into the shower and had no issues with play, so it’s definitely waterproof, but I don’t think full-on submerging in the bath would be a good idea unless it’s very shallow. All in all, it’s a quick, compact vibrator that gets the job done and deserves a space in your bedside table or handbag.
It took me five minutes, with instructions in hand, to discover how to ignite the device. Hold for three seconds to turn on, click gently to switch between settings. The lights are subtle, so that’s nice. The power was way more than any of my off-brand Hitachi wands or previous bullet vibrators. It has no bells and whistles. No remote. Not even a handle to relieve some of the intense power from reaching my hands.
My skin felt the vibrations without actually touching the device, so playing with the settings and the physical placement allowed a diverse range of sensations. I feel like this toy has three ideal settings: in a sleeve or other holder (and its intense power would allow this and not have its effectiveness dampened), as a toy to tease or torture a partner, or for discretion, something to sneak to work or toss in a suitcase.
I lament that these types of vibrating toys never have a way to track what setting you are on, and as far as I can tell, this toy does not. You are left to count and listen to the various noise patterns to determine which settings you are and find your favorites.
For solo insertion, this toy seems too small to hold and the completely smooth shape means if you want to dip inside you better have practice with jade eggs and other Kegel-style “exercisers.” The force of the device seems to muddy where the toy impacts sensation more, on the hand or on the target. There is a technique, if you balance the vibrator like a top or a driedel, using only minimal pressure from one finger, that you can enjoy the toy solo without the heavy aftershocks in the hands.
The size of this little guy leads me to explore if I can find new uses for it… So while it may not be practical and for immediate needs, it certainly inspires my creativity. With some stores offering this toy at $18 (Walmart), this toy provides more power and enjoyment than expected, I will probably save it for play at an unexpected unexpected place and time, not in the bedroom.
The Pipedream Wanachi Mini Massager is a tiny dinosaur of a sex toy. It’s retro, from the colors and design to its materials and function. But retro is cool when it’s done right.
This mini wand is battery powered and made of entirely ABS plastic. The downside is that the product is made of plastic. Yet, the upside, is the Wanachi Massager's rumbling vibrations. Yes, the head is rock solid, and is uncomfortable at first unless you like hard vibrations and surfaces. But nothing rattles and rumbles like ABS plastic.
Wanachi’s Mini Massager has a mighty motor. With a dial at the end to adjust speed, you can crank the wand up to feel like a rocket about to launch. Which is exactly what I did, and it transformed my“take it or leave it” attitude to a thumbs up.
The neck is poorly constructed with it’s accordion-style design, but the folds are too ridged to actually bend. You can stretch it out to get a solid curve in it, but it still doesn’t behave as well as a silicone neck.
Overall, for a toy under $30, it’s not too shabby. I’d say if you’re on a trip and forgot your vibrator, you could pick this one up in a pinch and be content.
Tracy's Dog Swirlii makes me want to howl with pleasure and beg for more!
I swear I'm not a bad girl, I made that mess cause I was excited!
I don't know what experienced toy lovers like and don't, but I have to say, as whatever level user I am at the moment, that this toy is spectacular! I wanted to grind against the clit stimulator like a dog humping a leg regardless of the setting it was on, and the rotations of the dildo made my eyes roll back.
This uniquely shaped toy from Bellesa is a fun vibrator. You can use this on your cock or insert it into your vagina or just rub it on your clit. Its fun shape makes it very powerful at the tip. It's very intense and almost feels like it's moving around!
