My verdict

My verdict is to forget this toy and find something better at a similar price point, or if you're looking for something truly unique, be willing to splurge a bit more. There are plenty of fish in the sea, and this disappointing friend is definitely sinking to the bottom. From packaging to performance to materials, this was a total miss. Basically, spend your money elsewhere and don't end up wondering why this toy's one defining feature is suddenly leaving you in the dark.

Pros

cute color

Cons

broken
cheap
doesn't work properly
inflexible
ineffective

Design

This product was, I am sad to say, a real disappointment for me. I took it out of the box, excited for its one special feature, and managed to immediately feel let down. Though the vibe was silicone with a polyurethane coating, which gave it a soft, sleek feel, this is where my excitement with its design ended. The product was hard with absolutely no give, which makes it already less likely to provide the pleasure it promises to most users, but it came broken! I was immediately crushed.

The area at the bottom of the vibe where the ABS plastic was was almost completely dislodged from the silicone. The plastic was simply glued in place, but obviously, not well enough. As I lifted it gently, the entire gold plastic cap peeled off the back of the vibrator, showing white plastic and glue residue underneath. Trust me... this is not what you want to see when you're about to enjoy yourself with a new toy, not only because it's gross but it calls into question the standards of the manufacturer.

Quality

Not only did this make me assume that the product was cheap and poorly made, but it gave me the distinct feeling that I couldn't trust the manufacturer's promises that the product used safe material. In addition, if your vibrator isn't going to make it through the shipping process intact, who's going to assume that it's going to provide them with a long-lasting relationship or even one good time? This immediately brought the quality of the item into suspect for me.

Experience

To be honest, I wasn't keen on placing this broken vibe near my most sensitive areas, but I did test drive the settings to see how they stacked up against my favorite options. And again, this product fell short. Its nine different settings go from intense to INTENSE and don't seem to provide much beyond the standard patterns. What's more: the product never seemed to soak up enough light juice to glow in the dark, no matter how long I left it charging with its charger cord under a bright lamp!

Performance

As far as performance goes, this isn't a vibrator I would recommend wasting your money on. It's cheap, it's loud, and it doesn't do the one thing it advertises: glow in the dark. Not sure if I made a mistake here, but between the broken parts and the completely unoriginal design, I have to say user error probably wasn't the issue here. The packaging material tout this product as being waterproof and able to hold a charge for 90 minutes, which don't seem like outright lies. But these pretty standard features don't outweigh the problems with this product by any means.

Materials and care

The material feels soft enough, but as soon as it starts vibrating, you get the distinct feeling you might be seasick. I'm usually a person who likes an intense vibration, but this felt too intense for me. In addition, the waterproof option means it has a magnetic charging cord, which did work fine, but the broken plastic part on the back made me wonder why you would go through all the trouble to make a waterproof toy with a random piece of plastic literally hotglued onto it? Seems like an oversight...

Packaging

Obviously, the unboxing experience for this one was a huge letdown. And the main reason for this was, of course, the broken plastic piece. But the box itself offered very little in terms of interest or excitement. There was a piece of cardboard inside meant to keep the vibrator upright during shipping, but well, that didn't seem to make much difference. The instructions were also written generically as if to give a general overview of any such product the company might be referring to with nothing specifically tied to this vibrator. Because of this, every aspect of the product, even its packaging, felt cheap.

Price

It's easy to find this vibrator on sale, and it's obvious as to why. But from $30 to $50, there are a few mid-tier vibes you can get with much better quality and that offer a number of cute or cool features like better packaging, more settings, or, I assume, the ability to actually glow in the dark. I'd absolutely recommend giving this option a pass in favor of something else entirely. You know what they say about running a business: pick something, and do it right. And this vibrator pretty much does it all wrong.
