This is the third wand I've tested, and I have to say that wands are not my thing. My little lollipop-looking one was fun and perfect for me, but this powerful little beast from Blush has even more of a kick than the bigger-sized one I also tried out from another brand. Even the lowest setting on the Allana wand is powerful and hard to handle if you're not used to that much vibration. Now I know why I learned from the adult toy store I worked at for two weeks that wands are an acquired toy and can ruin you if you're not careful! I don't want to give you a bad outlook on this toy, though. Just because it's not for me doesn't mean that someone who loves using wands wouldn't find enjoyment in this particular toy. It has lots of benefits we'll get to soon.

I am pretty new to using wands and having worked in a store that sold such toys, I knew all the warnings going into it. I've heard they can desensitize you, for one thing. Well, the ProWand is definitely THAT powerful. It was a bit too much for me even on the lowest setting. I wanted to like it and enjoy it, but there was no way to line it up just right that it didn't feel like more than I could possibly handle. However, if you're a wand user already, this one is a great addition to your collection because it has one really interesting feature.

The toy has only one button to turn it on or off and change the mode. The motor glides upward in intensity as you hold the button down, though to decrease vibration strength, the device needs to be turned off and then back on. The Swan Sceptre feels royal. It’s massive—the head is the size of my palm. And the vibrations are out of this world. They call their most intense setting “Earthquake Mode,” you could definitely measure it on the Richter Scale. Most toys that offer dual stimulation, clitoral and penetration, lack in at least one department. But not the Sceptre. The insertable length is actually long enough to insert. I am so happy with this wand. As with all near perfect toys, there are downsides. The insertable end doesn’t vibrate, it seems like a missed opportunity to me. And the buttons are horribly laid out. I’ve checked the website and user manual to confirm, but the top button has a “power” symbol on it, though it controls the speed. The bottom button button is the on/off switch and doesn’t affect speed at all. It’s just odd and it feels like the construction might have been off. Also, the lowest vibration setting is still quite intense—that’s not a complaint, just a warning to some users.

The shape of the device could easily be considered a gear shift, and not only does it sound like it's housing a V8 engine, but it feels like it too! I don’t usually get aroused immediately by a toy, but the Oliver James Large Wand Massager got me going right away. The large wand is large, nearly a foot long, making it oddly so comfortable to use. At first, I thought it looked a little gimmicky. It’s long, the handle is coated in shiny plastic, and it’s just so big it’s almost cartoonish. However, the neck is flexible, the silicone on the head is divine, and the vibrations are so strong I could feel them through my pants.
