This is the third wand I've tested, and I have to say that wands are not my thing. My little lollipop-looking one was fun and perfect for me, but this powerful little beast from Blush has even more of a kick than the bigger-sized one I also tried out from another brand. Even the lowest setting on the Allana wand is powerful and hard to handle if you're not used to that much vibration. Now I know why I learned from the adult toy store I worked at for two weeks that wands are an acquired toy and can ruin you if you're not careful! I don't want to give you a bad outlook on this toy, though. Just because it's not for me doesn't mean that someone who loves using wands wouldn't find enjoyment in this particular toy. It has lots of benefits we'll get to soon.

It's a great first wand or vibrator, but I wouldn’t recommend it to experienced players looking for a new toy. For my taste, it was a little too simple. Despite their popularity, I don't use a lot of magic wand style vibrators on myself because they're a bit too powerful and I prefer more pinpointed stimulation. However, Le Wand Rechargeable Massager is a really a great quality vibe that is easy to use, powerful, and has a variety of attachments available (sold separately). It's got good rumbles, and isn't as loud as some wands, however it's not that quiet. I love that it's available in a variety of colors too! Overall, I think Le Wand Rechargeable is a great wand and I'd definitely recommend it!

I am pretty new to using wands and having worked in a store that sold such toys, I knew all the warnings going into it. I've heard they can desensitize you, for one thing. Well, the ProWand is definitely THAT powerful. It was a bit too much for me even on the lowest setting. I wanted to like it and enjoy it, but there was no way to line it up just right that it didn't feel like more than I could possibly handle. However, if you're a wand user already, this one is a great addition to your collection because it has one really interesting feature.

This is my second Pillow Talk vibrator, and just like the last one, it blew me away. It’s your standard wand, with a powerful motor and a few aesthetic touches that make it feel precious. After doing this job for a few months, sex toys tend to blend together. A lot of wands are the same with good quality, decent vibrations, flexible neck, etc. But Cheeky by Pillow Talk had my toes curling. It’s built like your typical wand: a little texture on the handle to give you grip with some metal and crystal accents for flourish, and a tall head. It does look a little out of place on this toy, but looking closely, you see that the top of the head is vibrating faster than the bottom. I’m not sure what effect this really has; all I know is the vibrations rumbled through me. The button has a Swarovski crystal inlay, it controls power and speed. There are two technical hiccups with this design. First, the you can only increase the speed while using the toy, you cannot decrease it. To decrease, you must restart the toy and begin at the lowest setting. Secondly, to increase the speed you need to hold the button down, not click it. It’s a super sensitive button and will turn off with a click. Lastly, there is a small, removable cap for the charging port on the bottom of the handle making it very easy to lose this little guy. Overall, this toy gives “I summer at the cape” vibes while offering rumbling waves, with a few user interface issues.

The Swan Sceptre feels royal. It’s massive—the head is the size of my palm. And the vibrations are out of this world. They call their most intense setting “Earthquake Mode,” you could definitely measure it on the Richter Scale. Most toys that offer dual stimulation, clitoral and penetration, lack in at least one department. But not the Sceptre. The insertable length is actually long enough to insert. I am so happy with this wand. As with all near perfect toys, there are downsides. The insertable end doesn’t vibrate, it seems like a missed opportunity to me. And the buttons are horribly laid out. I’ve checked the website and user manual to confirm, but the top button has a “power” symbol on it, though it controls the speed. The bottom button button is the on/off switch and doesn’t affect speed at all. It’s just odd and it feels like the construction might have been off. Also, the lowest vibration setting is still quite intense—that’s not a complaint, just a warning to some users.

The Snail Vibe Gizi takes the bold, brilliant concept of the original Curve and kind of ruins it. Gone is the ability to thrust with strong vibrations. What’s left is a perfectly average dual-stimulation vibrator dressed up in the shape of something far more innovative. "Ladies and gentleman, this isn't the Royal Court, it's the Grand Prix! So start your engines!!" I feel "Sceptre" is a misnomer, if anything, the name should've been "The Gear Shift"! The shape of the device could easily be considered a gear shift, and not only does it sound like it's housing a V8 engine, but it feels like it too! Though it's personally not my favorite toy thus far, its definitively powerful vibrations more than get the job done and I'd gladly recommend it to any user wanting to cruise the Autobahn like a Queen!
