My verdict

If I wanted to speak Morse Code, I’d buy a Ham radio, not a vibrator. Don’t get me wrong, this is a beautifully designed, high-quality vibrating wand. However, I have a very specific personal issue with this toy. The wand has 20 patterns, and while I appreciate that each pattern is nuanced and probably appeals to users who have been looking for that specific ā€œdot dot dashā€ vibration, I could have done without 18 of them. For me, the first and eighteenth vibration patterns are the ones I want. And I’d love to be able to start with one, go to the other, and go back and forth until I’m tired. But I can’t do that with the Ava VIVVO Wand because I have to cycle through all the patterns to find the right one. And because they’re all so similar, I easily miss the one I’m looking for and have to cycle through all 20 again. This probably sounds so petty, but when you need that little shift in vibration, you don’t want to click through 17 that are just ā€œmeh.ā€ I think this part of the design is bothersome enough to ruin the toy entirely.

Pros

Soft silicone feels great on your body
Special button to immediately hit maximum intensity
Easy to use
7 hour battery life

Cons

Too many vibration patterns
Fairly simple wand
