Rantings of a Mad Woman!

Right off the bat, I've never been more happy to see so very little pink on a Lovense toy/package! The dark pink nature of the toy and the mostly white nature of the packaging are unbelievably cherished after dealing with the grotesquely bright neon pink Osci 3. My eyes genuinely hurt just at the thought of that toy! ><" Though the "pegging" and overall partner nature of the toy are lost on me, I am interested in the fact that the toy has 3 different features that can be explored. Though I'm not normally a fan of apps, I am thankful when it ends up allowing for separate motor control and a wider variety in vibration/pattern settings. I find I'm definitely more excited to try this toy out than when I was faced with the Osci 3 and believe it's now one of the most versatile toys in my collection.

Funny side story just for shiggles: this came in a package with a tentacle toy and nipple clamps... Though I wasn't super against attempting to give the nipple clamps a shot, I wasn't really terribly interested in trying them either. Unless I'm waaaaaaay into a session with someone and already quite aroused, boob/nipple play does absolutely nothing for me. It can be an aid in finishing once I hit a certain point but it's by no means a starting button or move. The tentacle was a haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaard pass!!!! I am by no means a hentai fan in any sense! Octopi may be cute in person, as a stuffed animal or some sort of accessory and may on occasion be delicious as calamari depending on how it's prepared... but they are NOT sexy, attractive, or desired in any other sense. So... I did what any sane person in my situation would do and found someone that would appreciate said items in a proper manner: Wendigogo!

I have never known a truer sense of friendship or a greater love than when that man walked out of the door with that tentacle! That man literally put his ass on the line for me and took a tentacle for the team so that I didn't have to... And I can't say thank you enough for that lol. No hole of mine was going to accept being violated by that monstrosity in any sense! On one hand I feel rather bad about that and kind of guilty about giving them away since they were sent to me, but on the other... NO!.... BAD!.... SHOO!!... BE GONE FOUL BEAST!!... YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!!!

But yeah... Wendigogo just James Cameron'd the fuck out of my life and I now have a new standard/bar in my life to compare others to. If they aren't willing to take a tentacle for me, then they aren't top quality friends/partners and things may need to be reevaluated lol. ><"

Mini Summary!

The Lovense Lapis is a triple threat toy with two means of control! It provides clitoral, G-spot and A-spot styles of stimulation that can be utilized all at once during various styles of partner play or switched between during solo. It can be manually controlled by the single button on the side of the device near the clitoral stimulator: simply hold the button to power the device on/off and press to cycle through the 7 different presets available (3 single vibration intensities and 4 patterns). During manual control, all three motors will be activated at once with no means of separate control. If individual control of each motor and/or more variety in settings is desired, then you're in luck as the toy can also be controlled by the Lovense App! The app allows a plethora of things to bring pleasure to any play style whether it's a favorite song, game or video doing the manipulation or a partner/stranger oceans away mixing and matching different features and intensities. Not only does the app allow for variety, but the IPX7 rating does as well as it allows the toy to not only be used in dry areas but in the bath, the shower, the pool or other potential wet areas that pop to mind!

It's a bit of a wallet breaker with the original price of $260, but it is available in only one color and can be found on sale for around $130 on Lovense's site at the moment (Sept 2025)!

Packaging!

I LOVE that this package isn't as obnoxious in coloring as the Osci 3 in any sense! To not have to wear sunglasses or experience eye pain during the whole review process due to an over the top amount of neon pink is a God send and it just simply can't be appreciated enough! ><" It's super basic, aesthetically pleasing, under sexualized and I find that I like it despite the picture being on the front.

Though each presents a portrait of sorts on the front and the same amount of information on the back, I find that the overall style of box is also more appreciated here. Rather than using a full bodied cover that slides off of the inner packaging and can potentially be folded or squished in some manner, this is a simple top and bottom type design that is simplistic yet sturdy.

I am far more comfortable with approaching a counter with this Lovense toy than the Osci 3, and it's definitely because of all of the aforementioned bits and bobs.

What's in the Box?!

Inside the Package: The toy itself, a magnetic charger and a somewhat useful and kind of amusing manual.

As always, I wish this device came with a storage bag of some sorts, but I'll settle for the sturdy box that it comes it as it's rather compact, easy to stack among the other storage boxes I have and definitely keeps the toy safe. I love the lack of waste in regards to materials; no unnecessary plastic or carboard floating about, just a simple foam cutout sitting in a box about the same size as the product itself. Idk why the manual doesn't include the use time on the same page as the charge time, but I'm at least happy with the fact that an IPX rating and any battery info is provided at all. Also love that Lovense provides an extensive amount of info on their site in regards to the toy itself as well if more info is ever desired.

I feel childish and silly giggling at the demonstration illustrations provided in the manual, especially because of how casual it makes a woman pegging a man look lol. Literally all that came to mind when I saw that image was the montage scene in Deadpool where she said "Happy Women's Appreciation Day." ><" .... At least it's better than a tentacle being offered up!

Let Me See You Flex!

The flexible nature of the toy is extensive and pretty sturdy, allowing it to fit a wider variety of body types while having a higher chance to stay in place during different positions. Definitely not the kind of flex you'd see in the DYSO Flex toy or the INYA Oh My G that can more easily be knocked out of place. The CalExotics Charmer is almost similar in flex, but this is still sturdier feeling.

How Did It Do?!

Information and Operation: There are 7 preset vibrations (3 single vibration intensities and 4 wavelike patterns) available when manually operating the toy that will utilize all 3 motors at once. To operate each motor/feature individually connect the toy to the Lovense App.

My original intention for this section was to break it down into each individual feature (Clitoral, G-Spot, and A-Spot) and discuss how each one felt as I used it. The schtick was also to use it while typing, but in this instance I did it away from the computer setup so the cats would quit literally cock blocking me while doing so. My office/bedroom/testing area is the open spaced living room during hours when the house is empty or the other occupant is asleep and timing for testing doesn't always line up with those hours or involves the cats harassing me in a space where I have no doors to stop them lol.

Aside from that diatribe of semi useless information, I am opting out of the initial plan of separation as my opinion is essentially the same across the board... The intensity of the vibrations doesn't fit the price tag.

They seem to fall in the range of absolute beginner with light vibrations to rather mild "intense" vibrations, regardless of the motor/feature that's doing the job. I found that all features felt best when on maximum intensity and, though they'd get the job done, it's a slower process than I imagined it would be. I would've liked an intensity range that involved ones that are too much to handle so that it had a higher return rate down the line and felt like the power to price ratio was more justified. To drop $260 on a toy that feels alright and not holy cow just feels... wrong. The features and overall essence of it are really nice but I still wouldn't consider them worth that high price either. The sale price is more justifiable for sure.

Another thing to note is that the girth of each insertable end is quite a lot handle, in least in a personal sense. Outside of the reviews and a rare occasional revisit to one of the toys, not a lot of action is going on down there, so toys on the girthier side of things take a bit more work to use comfortably as the initial several motions are pretty awkward, rough and uncomfortable to get settled in. I found the shorter insertable piece to be quite uncomfortable for more of the testing period than I found it comfortable... applying the higher intensity for a lengthy amount of time helped things settle better but it wasn't a fast process. Accepting the length and girth of the more phallic end took awhile to build up as well.

The toy sounds rather obnoxious when using the presets, especially on the highest single vibration setting... it almost sounds like a rumbly monster lol. That being said the vibrations are a mixture of rumbly and buzzy, and leans more towards one than the other depending on the intensity being applied. The G-Spot stimulator had a deeper rumble sensation when the maximum intensity was applied, but the clitoral stimulator felt a bit more buzzy on high intensity and wasn't the greatest stimulator without a bit of work being put into it.

Despite not being overly enthused with the experience, I still think it's better than the Osci 3 and would be willing to break it in more.

Back That App Up!

Lovense's app is super simple to use!

1. Simply take a picture of the QR code in the manual or on the back of the box and download the Lovense App.

2. Turn the device on by holding the top button for about 3 seconds.

3. Open the app and allow it to find your device, once it connects you're all set!

4. Make an account in order to use different features!

You can use a remote feature, save your own patterns for later use, give access to another person and chat while they take control, or sync it up to your favorite music!

There are also so many other features to be explored in this app:

1. Access patterns created by other users

2. Play roulette and connect with a stranger

3. Access 16 other apps/games in their gallery

4. Connect to your partner across the world

You can even have your toy sync and vibrate to:

1. Any nearby sound

2. The speed of the car you're a passenger in, Uber just got a lot more interesting... lol
