My verdict
"Ladies and gentleman, this isn't the Royal Court, it's the Grand Prix! So start your engines!!" I feel "Sceptre" is a misnomer, if anything, the name should've been "The Gear Shift"! The shape of the device could easily be considered a gear shift, and not only does it sound like it's housing a V8 engine, but it feels like it too! Though it's personally not my favorite toy thus far, its definitively powerful vibrations more than get the job done and I'd gladly recommend it to any user wanting to cruise the Autobahn like a Queen!
Pros
The Travel Setting helps avoid accidentally turning it on in your bag, your drawer or where ever!
IPX7 waterproof rating allows you to feel like a Queen in the shower, the bath, or the Jacuzzi! ;P
Guesstimate of 30 vibration settings, each more powerful than the last! Definitely wets your engine!
Super easy to clean! Duration use is longer than the charging time!
Two buttons allow the vibration settings to be increased and decreased!
Cons
Not enough vibration in the longer end of the sceptre! Makes my fingers tingle more than my insides!
IMHO: The rounded end is too large. I don't need something that big to stimulate a small area!
Not the best personal massager. Though the bulbous end covers quite a bit of surface it's too much!
Experience

Of the two Swan products I've received, this isn't quite my cup of tea.

Don't get me wrong, it has some lovely features!

  1. The clitoral stimulation of the rounded end of the Sceptre is top-notch!
  2. The fact that there are two buttons that actually let me increase and decrease the settings is awesome!
  3. Travel Lock is brilliant!
  4. Longer use time than charging time is awesome, even though I never need more than 10 minutes with any of my devices to reach satisfaction.

What irks me is:

  1. How bland the handle feels when used as a penetration toy. I'd like to feel more of that powerful vibration throughout it.
  2. The rounded end is NOT as great as I thought it would be for regular massage preferences. A bit too bulbous.
  3. The rounded end is far too big for penetration purposes so the big vibrations can't be utilized in an internal sense.

You'd think the good would outweigh the bad and I'd really like it, but given that the Era Wand allows for easy penetration with the intense vibrating head and is a better travel companion, I don't really see the need for a device like this in my collection as I have others that do the job a bit better. However, this toy is definitely a must-have if your collection isn't as expansive as mine!

Pictured are two Swan wand beauties right next to each other. Check out the Swan Era review to see my thoughts on that cute little blue buddy!

Packaging

The packaging is a sturdy/protective book style encasement with a magnetic clasp, all wrapped in a beautiful oil painting style design. The front is adorned with an angelic design around the product picture, while the back features an inviting synopsis of the product. Unlike other products that showcase them a bit more, the product features information is a subtle 6 point list provided under the synopsis on the back in 6 different languages. Other than that the package is adorned with just the product name/company and two simple quotes.

Personally, though I feel the packaging is quite elegant, it's still one I would have to debate on whether or not I'd feel comfortable walking up to a checkout with since everything about it screams that it's a sensual product. That being said, I love the sturdiness of the box and despite the design could see it being used as a keepsake box of sorts.

What's in the Box?!

**** For those that read the Swan Era Wand Review this is going to look identical, and that's because it is since the products were packaged the same. ****

Inside the package: The product itself wrapped in a protective/reusable plastic bag and then encased in a lovely white satin pouch; a user guide; a thank you card; and a charger!

I like the extra care of packaging the toy in a sturdy resealable plastic bag, the sturdiness of it makes me feel I could use it as a stand alone case option instead of the satin bag. Oddly, it seems perfect for airport travel as it's contained but visible!

The thank you is an awesome touch as it not only gives you insight into the company, the founder and the product but it makes you feel appreciated as part of the reason why the journey continues. :)

The Vibrations!

All of the toys I've used up to this point increase their vibrations one button press at a time. The variation among them is whether the desired setting is reach by: continuously cycling through the amount of settings one click at a time in order to reach the one before; turning the device off and cycling through the specified amount to the desired one; or having another button that allows the user to switch back and forth.

For example, the Satisfyer Mission Control toy has 11 air pulses and 12 vibrations, if I like the #8 air pulse and the #12 vibration I can get to those quite easily, just turn the device on and click 'til I reach those numbers. For the air pulse settings I have the added luxury of toggling up or down, while the vibration settings can be used as a continuous cycle through or a stop and start again.

The Swan line introduced a whole new style of increasing the vibrations and I'm not sure I'm a fan of it.

The Swan Sceptre seems to have about 30 settings, compared to the Swan Era Wand with potentially 25 settings, at least from what I could tell after fiddling around with it and attempting to count the blinks.

Regardless, it's quite difficult to just singularly click through as one quick press of the bottom button completely turns the device off, and one quick press of the top button does nothing. In order to move to the next setting the user must hold the button and let it climb.... HOWEVER...

Unlike the Swan Era Wand, which has only one button, the bottom button on the Swan Sceptre allows for the user to actually decrease the settings when held and have an easier time trying to walk the device back into the right setting.

The vibrations of the Swan Sceptre are quite insane, a few moments into holding the device while it's on its highest setting left my fingers tingling. When laid down, while on the highest setting, it sounds like a snowblower entered the room lol. There's no real denying someone's trying to drive to pleasure town using this as the gear shift. xD

Travel Lock!

The Swan Sceptre has a wonderful feature called the Travel Lock. This features allows the product to shake, rattle, and roll about your luggage, drawer, or where ever it may be without accidentally turning on and wasting the pleasure on nothing!

To activate this feature simply hold the two buttons for 4 seconds or until the device vibrates two times. Once this feature is activated you will notice that either button can be pressed but nothing happens. To turn off this feature simply repeat the process and enjoy! :)

Swan Sceptre vs Swan Era Wand

Material - Tie

  1. Swan Sceptre - 100% Premium Silicone
  2. Swan Era Wand - 100% Premium Silicone

Waterproof Settings - Tie

  1. Swan Sceptre - IPX7
  2. Swan Era Wand - IPX7

Run Time - Swan Sceptre Wins

  1. Swan Sceptre - Up to 210 Mins, On Low Speed
  2. Swan Era Wand - Up to 150 Mins

Charging Time and Indicator - Tie

  1. Swan Sceptre - 120 min charge time, indicated with the two buttons lighting up during charge and turning off when the charge is complete.
  2. Swan Era Wand - 120 min charge time, indicated with 4 blue lights on the front, charge completed when the all four lights are on and solid.

Size - Swan Era Wand Wins - Personal Preference

  1. Swan Sceptre - Quite cumbersome, not as easy to hide or travel with.
  2. Swan Era Wand - Perfect travel companion due to its small stature, easy to store and hide.

Vibration Settings - Swan Era Wand Wins - Personal Preference

  1. Swan Sceptre - Guesstimate of 30 settings, powerful, feels great, but is super obnoxious when on highest setting and laid down.
  2. Swan Era Wand - Guesstimate of 25 settings, powerful, feels great, and isn't obnoxious when on highest setting and laid down.

Penetration Ability - Swan Era Wand Wins - Personal Preference

  1. Swan Sceptre - The rounded end is not insert friendly at all, waaaaaay too big. The lack of vibration in the longer end makes it a bit boring to use. I've learned during this journey that if I'm going to use a penetration toy, I prefer a vibrating one over a plain do nothing dildo, if that's the case I'd rather use my fingers or an actual penis lol.
  2. Swan Era Wand - Small stature allows for easy and enjoyable penetration

Ease of Use Regarding Vibration Settings - Swan Sceptre Wins

  1. Swan Sceptre - Two button operation makes finding the right vibration setting a bit easier as the second button allows for the vibrations to be decreased so the device doesn't need turned off to be reset.
  2. Swan Era Wand - Single button operation makes finding the right vibration setting a bit cumbersome since it's a hold to increment, caps at the top and needs turned off to reset from the start style use.

Ease of Use General Sense - Swan Era Wand Wins - Personal Preference

  1. Swan Sceptre - Bulbous vibration head that encompasses a large area, easy to increase and decrease intensity, cumbersome to handle since it's top heavy, and the handle can be used as dildo.
  2. Swan Era Wand - Small vibration head that is more focused, easy to handle, and penetration friendly with full vibrational feel.

Overall Winner by Personal Preference - Swan Era Wand!

I'm genuinely amazed I'm here! Though I can come off very flirty and sometimes talk a big game, when it comes to certain sexual aspects I am actually quite shy, slightly uncomfortable, lacking in confidence and can sometimes be downright prudish lol. My sex life always consisted of my favorite fingers or an actual man. (Shocking I know!) Toys were something I felt would disrupt intimacy or ruin my ability to orgasm without one. Let's face it, a man can't vibrate like a motor can or always keep up with the Energizer Bunny lol. It was actually a recent relationship with vastly different libidos that resulted in the strangest gift of my 1st ever toy: an egg w/ an app and settings created by other users. At first it felt like cheating... Over time, it became a boost to my independence/self-confidence and I realized I needed to learn to love myself in new ways. This is a definitely surprising step in my journey of self exploration, but one that I hope can oddly help others in theirs too!

  • CalExotics Bullet Review: I'd Take This Bullet For You Any Day ;P

Ironically this Bullet is hit or miss, and it has nothing to do with aim. CalExotics' Bullet is pretty great when it works, but getting it to work seems almost as fickle as getting the Blush Lipstick to work. The device is remote controlled, each device requiring a AAA to work, and features 12 settings (mix of vibrations and patterns). Unlike Iroha, CalExotics was not kind enough to include any batteries, so make sure you have some on hand. The Bullet can be fully inserted in either desired entry point and can be easily retrieved with the cord attached to the one end. The device is almost silent to others once inserted which could make it interesting for public use. The remote allows for easy use on your own or with a partner as it can be used up to 32.75 ft (10m) away. No IPX rating given, but it does claim to be usable in and out of water. No use time is given for this device, and given the weird events during testing I'm not even sure how to guess at a proper length so 60 minutes was my overall guesstimate. Can be a great toy for first time users, and can be fun for public/private partner play.

  • shibari mini halo Review: Look like an Angel but feel like a Devil ;P

Not entirely sure how this one got its name or how to make a pun of it. I think I'm going have to write my first non pun filled review right now... *shudder* It's very weird to say since I'm still somewhat of a newcomer myself, but I think this would be a good first time personal massager for someone that doesn't want to commit to getting a dildo just yet but wants a nice somewhat inconspicuous toy. It definitely feels nice as a regular massager, and is quite intense as a clitoral stimulator and with 20 patterns, 8 intensities, a 90-120 min use time and a memory retention feature you can't really go wrong.

  • MotorBunny G2G Panty Vibe Review: Can BO6 Zombies Be Kinky? ;P

Haptics wise, BO6 Zombies is unfortunately NOT kinky... :c. Jump scare, throw your controller across the room, or move it around like it has any sway on your character's movements wise... BO6 Zombies can be... erratically kinky. XD The Motorbunny G-Thing is just like any other bulb vibe out there but(t) with a fun gaming twist! This bulb vibe can not only be controlled the typical way. but with an app or with the help of the Motorbunny Playmate and a controller! The G-thing has 9 settings (3 vibes and 6 patterns), a use time of around 4 hours, 3 ways to control it, and an IPX7 rating! The app consists of 10 classic games with sensually punny names, and a remote control menu that allows you to raise and lower the intensity, doodle yourself a new pattern, have your favorite song rock your world, or have someone join the room and do any of those for you! The Playmate is a device that features an accelerometer that enables tilting actions to control the vibrations of the toy, it also claims to react to in-game haptics but that feature is sadly subpar at this point in time. If you want a toy that's reliable and goes well with your idle fidgeting, this is it!

  • MotorBunny Fluffer Vibe Review: Leeerooooooy Jeeenkiins

Bear with me for a moment, I know this statement is going to be a bit weird, but it's the most accurate description I feel I could use at the moment.... The Motorbunny G2G brought an orgasm and fantasy on that was a culmination of all of the hottest, flirty, fun, juvenile dry hump sessions I've ever experienced. I'm honestly a bit upset I didn't have someone around to nibble, tease, and play with while I tested it, but I came away blushing, gushing and feeling like I did anyway. Combine that with the fact that I can also sit around and play classic games with dirty punny names for shiggles and get off while doing so and you have one hell of a happy camper! That aside, the Motorbunny G2G has 9 settings (3 vibes and 6 patterns), a use time of around 4 hours, 3 ways to interact with it (itself, an app, and the Playmate adapter), an IPX7 rating, and comes with 3 different colored magnets to customize its look. Just know, if you're into a little bump and grind type of session, this is definitely a good toy for it! ;P

Svakom Beatrice: The Most Surprising Toy Ever

At first glance, the Beatrice by Svakom looks like a dental instrument. I had to read the manual to figure out how to use it, but once I figured it out, I fell in love. It’s a dual head toy, meaning either end can be inserted, they both vibrate, and it provides g-spot and clitoral stimulation. The curved metal end has my heart on a string, it’s the most targeted g-spot stimulation I’ve experienced. It comes with two attachable silicone heads, each with a different shape. The Beatrice sort of turns into a rabbit-like toy, the attachable features have small silicone ears attached to them that conduct vibrations and provide clitoral stimulation. The baby moves, the vibrations are strong, and the little ears on each of the attachments move with it. I was so surprised when I first used the Beatrice. I had no expectations, I figured it was just some gimmicky toy, but oh my goodness, was I wrong.

plusOne Dual Vibrating Massager: Intense Vibrations at an Affordable Price

The plusOne Dual Vibrating Massager packs a lot of power for its price. My partner originally purchased it before we got together, and while it’s not a match for my rumbly preferences, I can see why it’s a favorite. The flexible design, waterproof build, and dual motors make it versatile, but the intensely buzzy vibrations turned me off. But it’s a solid choice for anyone seeking intense sensations on a budget.

    The Tame Dame Zee Bullet

As far as bullet vibrators go, I would say this one sits in the middle ground of mid-range power—mid-range fun. The shape and exterior are pretty typical bullet design, precision tip, small and compact, and soft ABS plastic, which is pretty smooth on the glide. It has 3 vibration settings on the buzzy side (I could feel it way in there). While not packed with multiple patterns, the simplicity of the three-speed settings allows users to focus on finding the right level of vibration for their pleasure. It's rechargeable, which is great, and can be used on other parts of the body, too—externally only! Trust me, you don’t want to be fishing for this baby inside your body. It's rechargeable and has a long playtime, so you can take it on multiple trips on the pleasure tracks without worrying about popping out batteries or running out of juice. It’s also pretty quiet, water resistant, and has a one-button control.

Swimming to an Orgasm with Swan's Alice's Bunny

Okay, so to me this toy looks more like a weird alien claw than a cute bunny, but trust me—it’s actually a total treat in the bedroom. Despite the odd looks, it definitely got me hopping in the right direction. With 10 vibration settings that range from buzzy to rumbly, it gives you plenty of options to find your perfect vibe. The dual stimulation is the real deal: the gently curved shaft targets your G-spot, while those distinct bunny ears hit just the right spot on your clit. It's not about overwhelming intensity, but rather steady, manageable pleasure—perfect for those who like to take their time. It’s the perfect size—small enough for solo play, yet big enough to bring satisfying sensations when used with a partner, leaving you on the "edge" of something amazing. The internal bullet vibrator can also be used on its own for external stimulation. Just slide the sleeve off and experiment.

Tracy's Dog DuoJoy: A Naughty Treat

If you are into 'still doing the dishes' foreplay or getting naughty in public then I'd certainly take a look at this toy as it is discreet, slips in easily and is perfectly quiet enough to not be heard. (And don't think 'quiet' means lame and boring. This toy does pack some punch) The DuoJoy has two independently controlled motors with 10 patterns each. The on/off button cycles through all 10 but the remote allows you to select different patterns for the inserted part and the clit stimulator. I can't say for sure if it is supposed to be like this, but this toy works better as a panty vibrator rather than a bedroom toy. Once inserted, you can easily put your clothes back on without anything looking out of place and toss your partner the remote to let him have his way while he caresses your neck, while you finish the chores together or, if you're feeling naughty, while you're out on a date to your favorite restaurant. The vibrations are good but at the same time they are not powerful. They work together gently to a build up of pleasure but don't get me wrong - you can 100% get off on this toy.

    We-Vibe Chorus: 'O' So Intimate!

The We-Vibe Chorus—and its pressure-sensitive remote (yes, you read that right! Just give it a squeeze to amp up the vibrations)—gets a gold star from me for delivering hands-free, blended orgasms during sex with my partner. Personally, I don’t orgasm easily from internal stimulation alone, let alone from intercourse, but the Chorus makes the whole experience way more enjoyable (wink if you know what I mean). After plenty of testing, we’ve found that this vibe shines best with a grinding motion rather than thrusting, making it a top-tier lovemaking toy in my book. Flying solo? No problem! Tuck it into snug underwear for a hands-free thrill, or pair it with a dildo for an added layer of sensation. Bonus tip: The remote-controlled feature makes it perfect for some sneaky play—whether you’re at home or feeling adventurous out and about. The charging/carry case that it comes with is also a splendid idea as it is discreet and keeps all dust off the toy and remote. Edit: we tried to use it late last night and it was confusing. Maybe keep it for a sober encounter.

Ava FLIQ: Best Bean Fliq-er in Town!

The Ava Fliq allows you to fliq all of those pesky stresses off your shoulders as it whisks you off your feet! With 10 whisk patterns and 10 bean fliq-ing sensations you're sure to feel like the cream of the crop! ;P If a spa were to provide complimentary stress relievers, I feel this would be in that collection hands down. Of the three Ava products I've received, I'd have say that this one has to be my favorite clitoral stimulator! If you want an action that closely feels like genuine oral sex, this is a good choice! I've gone back to this toy several times in the week or so I've had it because I can't seem to get enough of that little fliq-er xD.

The Je Joue Mimi Soft: Pretty in Pink, But Not So Perfect in Play

The Je Joue Mimi Soft Fuchsia Vibrator is undeniably a stylish and sophisticated toy, but when it comes to practicality and comfort, it leaves a bit—or rather a lot—to be desired. While the soft silicone and variety of vibration patterns are nice features, the awkward shape and limited maneuverability make it hard to fully enjoy. I found myself flipping it over more than once and trying more than a few angles, trying to get a good dose of the broad external stimulation it promises. All in all, it’s a toy that looks better on your nightstand than it feels in your hand during use. Switching through modes is another uphill battle, with small, dainty buttons on the circumference of the toy, which makes it almost impossible to switch through while you’re holding it in play. On the plus side, it’s rechargeable with a magnetic charger and has a fairly long playtime (I guess you’re going to need the extra juice considering finding the right play angle is near impossible on most days). On paper, it ticks a lot of boxes, but in practice, it’s not as user-friendly as it sounds.
