The original Snail Vibe Curve was a revolution for female pleasure, allowing users to enjoy both a handheld thrusting element and constant-contact clitoral stimulation, thanks to a unique uncurling design. It didn’t just vibrate it moved with you. The rigids might not have been for everybody, and it had a bit of a learning curve, but at least it did something different and felt genuinely new in a market oversaturated with the same rabbit-like or micro-suction designs.

Snail Vibe even had some success with the same formula for men, with a fuckable Evo model that kept the stimulation on the top of your penis while allowing some stroking. It wasn’t exactly the gold standard of male masturbators, but it was creative, experimental, and different.
The Gizi is a mini version of the Curve, but does it deliver the same thrills in a portable package, or is it the sequel that no one asked for?
That Unique Thrusting Action… Is Gone
Imagine if you had a hit product on your hands that basically relied on one innovative new feature. Now imagine stripping that out and shipping the remains as a travel-sized sequel. Madness! And yet here we are.

Can I suggest, perhaps, not removing the one thing that made it unique?
Yes, the Gizi does have a little curly bit which uncurls for constant clitoral contact, but it’s basically redundant because you can’t thrust with the internal part. You can see above the only practical way we could demonstrate any thrusting action was to pinch the neck from underneath.
Instead, it has a curved shaft that’s designed to stimulate your G-spot, which is always appreciated. But the neck is so flexible that if you like real pressure on your G-spot, this won’t deliver.
It’s pretty much the same thing that every other dual-stimulation vibrator has ever offered. What's the unique selling point here? Not a lot, sadly.
In short, they took away everything that made it special. You had one job!
Compared to The Snail Vibe Curve
Even more egregious is the apparent change of motor power. The original Snail Vibe Curve featured powerful dual motors with two little beasts that punched well above their weight. In my water testing, they produced vibrations comparable to a wand. It was the kind of toy that, once turned on, made everything else in your toy box feel inadequate.

The Gizi just doesn’t compare.
While the snail-head part of the toy appears to be much the same physical size, the motor strength noticeably degraded. You can feel something going on, sure, but it never rises to the level of intensity the original achieved.
Despite the lack of raw power, it does still have some oomph, mostly thanks to a large internal counterweight that gives it more of a thumping feel, rather than a high-frequency buzz. Think: off-balance washing machine for ants. It's not as bad as your average Walmart bullet vibe anyway, but nor is it anything to write home about on the ToyChats blog.

The original Snail Vibe Curve had a firm, uniform shaft measuring 1.4 inches all the way along, with an easy-to-grab handle at the end for thrusting. It may have looked like a peeled banana, but it felt like a party in your pants, and everyone was invited.
The Gizi has a very flexible shaft, with an egg-shaped internal vibe, measuring 1.3 inches diameter at the widest, narrowing to 0.6 inches on the neck. Even worse is that there is no handle to grab.
Both are made of silky smooth silicone, with each motor independently controlled. They charge using the same magnetic snap-on USB cable.
Who Should Buy The Snail Vibe Gizi?
Don’t get me wrong it’ll still get you off. The curved shaft lets it nestle neatly inside while stimulating externally too. You’ll likely find a comfy position with a perfect blend of intensity and pressure, and enough rumbly vibes to get the job done. But you have to keep it fully inserted, and hold it in the right position to keep the pressure on externally, at which point it’s not doing anything that half the rabbit-style vibes on the market don’t already do, cheaper.
If you’ve never tried the Curve, you might find the Gizi to be an exciting dual-action vibe with a cool shape. It gives internal stimulation to your G-spot, alongside pleasant thumping externally. It's not the strongest of vibes though, so if you need more power, skip this one.
If you have used the Curve, the Gizi feels like a stripped-down tribute act; don’t bother with it. It’s not a travel-size version of the Curve nor does the large external head sit discreetly in public.
If you’re just after a travel-friendly, quiet, decent-quality toy, it technically checks those boxes—but so do dozens of others, often for less money.
