Really, the biggest downside is the battery life is shorter than many rechargeable wands. It comes with a remote control, which I honestly don't use very often, but I recognize that it may help others. The remote control is NOT waterproof, but the wand itself is waterproof submersible, so you can use it in the shower or bathtub or pool for up to 30 minutes at a maximum depth of 1 meter/~3 feet. If you or someone you play with are either plus size or want toys that are accessible, I urge you to consider the Blush Wellness Eternal Wand. It really is that good!!

Steel is a great material for those who are into temperature play, which takes things up a notch. The Pure Wand has helped me get better at squirting, which is something I've really been working on learning how to control.
