Given that it barely has more actual power than a much cheaper generic mini wand, there's little reason to get this unless you hate batteries (or really love the color schemes available). And to be clear, that's not a bad reason to buy this at all; batteries suck, and degrade over time. While I can't tell you the long-term durability of this wand, I can tell you that eventually, a generic mini wand will become unusable and won't hold a charge, ultimately becoming e-waste. In theory, the Classic 2.0 Wand won't, but only time will tell.
