I think the Lovehoney Rose is a great gift for anyone who has yet to ride the rose train or people who loved their first one & are in need of a new one. I also think Rose vibes make for excellent bridesmaid or bachelorette party gifts. Despite the fact that rose toys are still relatively new type of toy, they skyrocketed to "icon" status for their powerful suction in a discreet design. I think Lovense being so popular is a testament to that idea. The Rose instead opts to try and be a premium toy on a budget-friendly price...which just means they had to pare down and skimp in order to make the $26 price point able to make them a profit. If I were to give my unsolicited advice I would ask for a few things: 1) extending the shaft and adding a longer and a speed adjustable thrusting motion (like Lovense's Gravity) 2) adding a vibration element to the head/shaft and 3) a redesign of the licking element...and all this complaining is out of love...and because it's on the cusp of greatness ~ but not quite there yet.

If you’re curious and don’t want to spend too much money on your first toy, this one’s a smart pick. It’s cute, strong, and has a lot of options, maybe more than you’ll even need. It's a gamble that could be worth it more than it's not. Go into it with low expectations and give it the chance to surprise you like it did me! With finicky circuitry that made it a chore to initially keep on without bumping it out of place, this thing seemed like it was going to be destined for the trash bin. With a design that actually seems to concentrate the vibration in a beautifully easy to aim point that seems to allow me to focus on that one spot that really wants it...It's more than proved it's worth keeping! Regarding the "Duration of Use", it was not a fully tested feature, so I made a minimum best guess thinking it should more than likely last longer. Testing it for my photo/video op took longer than it took me to reach satisfaction and I believe it would have kept going just fine and dandy. My guess is however long a AAA battery usually lasts would be the duration, and if you have rechargeable ones on hand and can move fast like you're working a NASCAR pit you'll have a good time! ;P
