Overall Rating
Overall rating is based on Design, Sensory Quality, Ease of Use, and Ease of Cleaning. Price and Noise are shown for reference only.
My verdict
Pros
- The Travel Setting helps avoid accidentally turning it on in your bag, your drawer or where ever!
- IPX7 waterproof rating allows you to have a magical time in the shower, the bath, or the Jacuzzi! ;P
- Guesstimate of 25 vibration settings, each more powerful than the last! Definitely a magical time!
- Super easy to clean! Duration use is longer than the charging time! And easy to travel with!
- Can easily be used as a penetrative device as well!
Cons
- Single button allows for the vibration to increase, but device must be turned off to start over!
Experience

Of the two Swan products I've received, this is by far my favorite. The only thing I didn't really like about it was the single button use and how it effects my play time, but that's covered more in other sections.
Though it hasn't been run through the shower time test yet, this device certainly brought some magic to the bed and couch tryouts! Even on the low setting I'm delighted with it.
Unlike it's partner the Swan Sceptre, and definitely unlike the Satisfyer Mission Control device, the vibrating head of this device can be used for easy and highly enjoyable penetration *throws confetti*!! The clitoral stimulation is wonderful too lol, but it's absolutely great when that moment of ecstasy that desires penetration can actually be "fully filled" with the same device! xD
**** I'm not sure if it exists already or not... but I think if the Swan product line replaced the charging end with an air pulse feature and allowed for a bit more control of overall settings... My head and vagina would simultaneously implode and explode from the utility of the device. ****
Packaging

Swan's packaging is elegant and simple.
The front of the box has a picture of the product, the product name, and the company name and logo. The back of the box has the company name and logo, a short paragraph about the product itself, the company motto, and 5 bullets of feature information in 6 different languages. One side of the box has a picture of the product and the company motto, while the other has the company name and logo, the product name and a few details. The box itself is hard cased and wraps around the product like a book and seals with a magnetic clasp. Inside the box on the panels are single line drawings of the product and a woman's face and a few provocative but informative instructions.
I absolutely love how elegant and fancy this box is, I'm a sucker for the overall shades of blue and the golden line designs. If the product itself wasn't featured on the front and side I think I would be confident about approaching a counter with it, as is I'm a bit hesitant but would potentially still do it just because of how the rest of it makes me feel. I'm also a sucker for book style boxes with magnetic clasps, without the product pictures this would be a cute box to upcycle as a keepsake box.
What's in the Box?!

**** For those that read the Swan Sceptre Review this is going to look identical, and that's because it is since the products were packaged the same. ****
Inside the package: The product itself wrapped in a protective/reusable plastic bag and then encased in a lovely white satin pouch; a user guide; a thank you card; and a charger!
I like the extra care of packaging the toy in a sturdy resealable plastic bag, the sturdiness of it makes me feel I could use it as a stand alone case option instead of the satin bag. Oddly, it seems perfect for airport travel as it's contained but visible!
The thank you is an awesome touch as it not only gives you insight into the company, the founder and the product but it makes you feel appreciated as part of the reason why the journey continues. :)
The Vibrations!
All of the toys I've used up to this point increase their vibrations one button press at a time. The variation among them is whether the desired setting is reach by: continuously cycling through the amount of settings one click at a time in order to reach the one before; turning the device off and cycling through the specified amount to the desired one; or having another button that allows the user to switch back and forth.
For example, the Satisfyer Mission Control toy has 11 air pulses and 12 vibrations, if I like the #5 air pulse and the #8 vibration I can get to those quite easily, just turn the device on and click 'til I reach those numbers. For the air pulse settings I have the added luxury of toggling up or down, while the vibrations can be used as a cycle through or stop and start again.
The Swan line introduced a whole new style of increasing the vibrations and I'm not sure I'm a fan of it.
The Swan Era Wand seems to have about 25 settings, compared to the Swan Era Sceptre with potentially 30 settings, at least from what I could tell after fiddling around with it and attempting to count the blinks.
Regardless, it's quite difficult to just singularly click through as one quick press of the button completely turns the device off. In order to move to the next setting the user must hold the button and let it climb... meaning if the user passes the setting, tough luck as it'll need to be turned off and the user will have to start over but be a more meticulous about it.
When the Swan Era Wand is initially turned ON, the motor causes the device to rattle all over, making the handle wobble about in the user's hand. If the user gently squeezes the device or holds the button down to increase to just the next potential level it stabilizes the whole device and allows the vibrations to focus in just the head of the device.
Overall, the vibrations are quite powerful and very enjoyable!
Travel Lock!
The Swan Era Wand has a wonderful feature called the Travel Lock. This features allows the product to shake, rattle, and roll about your luggage, drawer, or where ever it may be without accidentally turning on and wasting the pleasure on nothing!
To activate this feature simply press the power button 3 times in quick succession, the device will vibrate two times. Once this feature is activated you will notice that the power button can be pressed but nothing happens. To turn off this feature simply repeat the process and enjoy! :)
Swan Era Wand vs Swan Sceptre!
Material - Tie
- Swan Era Sceptre - 100% Premium Silicone
- Swan Sceptre - 100% Premium Silicone
Waterproof Settings - Tie
- Swan Era Wand - IPX7
- Swan Sceptre - IPX7
Run Time - Swan Sceptre Wins
- Swan Era Wand - Up to 150 Mins
- Swan Sceptre - Up to 210 Mins, On Low Speed
Charging Time and Indicator - Tie
- Swan Era Wand - 120 min charge time, indicated with 4 blue lights on the front, charge completed when the all four lights are on and solid
- Swan Sceptre - 120 min charge time, indicated with the two buttons lighting up during charge and turning off when the charge is complete.
Size - Swan Era Wand Wins - Personal Preference
- Swan Era Wand: Perfect travel companion due to its small stature, easy to store and hide.
- Swan Sceptre: Quite cumbersome, not as easy to hide or travel with.
Vibration Settings - Swan Era Wand Wins - Personal Preference
- Swan Era Wand - Guesstimate of 25 settings, powerful, feels great, and isn't obnoxious when on highest setting and laid down.
- Swan Sceptre - Guesstimate of 30 settings, powerful, feels great, but is super obnoxious when on highest setting and laid down.
Penetration Ability - Swan Era Wand Wins - Personal Preference
- Swan Era Wand - Small stature allows for easy and enjoyable penetration
- Swan Sceptre - From a personal standpoint: The rounded end is not insert friendly for my nether region at all, waaaaaay too big. The lack of vibration in the longer end makes it a bit boring to use. I've learned during this journey that if I'm going to use a penetration toy, I prefer a vibrating one not a plain do nothing dildo, if that's the case I'd rather use my fingers or an actual penis lol.
Ease of Use Regarding Vibration Settings - Swan Sceptre Wins
- Swan Era Wand - Single button operation makes finding the right vibration setting a bit cumbersome since it's a hold to increment, caps at the top and needs turned off to reset from the start style use.
- Swan Sceptre - Two button operation makes finding the right vibration setting a bit easier as the second button allows for the vibrations to be decreased so the device doesn't need turned off to be reset.
Ease of Use General Sense - Swan Era Wand Wins - Personal Preference
- Swan Era Wand - Small vibration head, easy to handle, easier to focus, and penetration use with full vibration feel.
- Swan Sceptre - Large vibration head, easy to handle, encompasses larger area, and the handle can be used as dildo.
Overall Winner by Personal Preference - Swan Era Wand!
About This Author
There are times in my life where I've come off very flirty and I've talked a big game... hell I've even done some fun/weird/crazy/unexpectedly sexy things now and then. Normally, I'm quite shy, slightly uncomfortable, lacking in confidence and can sometimes be downright prudish. Having ToyChats cross my path was extremely unexpected, initially off-putting and somewhat comical at first. I genuinely never thought I'd make it past the first review as I felt it was just not in my wheel house, now I'm somehow 50 reviews in with a giant box of dicks. >.<" The comedic aspect, the writing freedom, the job of it, the fun/awkward stories that have come from it and the overall distraction has surprisingly helped me crawl out of a dark place, find a new level of self-confidence, an appreciation for self-love (not just sexually) and a reignited a desire to be quirky/free. My goal here is to help others feel not alone, share my truth, use horrible puns/wordplay, provide useful info and have fun! ♥

An Interesting Night Out with the Blush Rose Lipstick Vibe
It's a gamble that could be worth it more than it's not. Go into it with low expectations and give it the chance to surprise you like it did me! With finicky circuitry that made it a chore to initially keep on without bumping it out of place, this thing seemed like it was going to be destined for the trash bin. With a design that actually seems to concentrate the vibration in a beautifully easy to aim point that seems to allow me to focus on that one spot that really wants it...It's more than proved it's worth keeping! Regarding the "Duration of Use", it was not a fully tested feature, so I made a minimum best guess thinking it should more than likely last longer. Testing it for my photo/video op took longer than it took me to reach satisfaction and I believe it would have kept going just fine and dandy. My guess is however long a AAA battery usually lasts would be the duration, and if you have rechargeable ones on hand and can move fast like you're working a NASCAR pit you'll have a good time! ;P

Inya: The Rose Review - I've Been Kissed By A Rose ♫♪
This is the type of flower you should ask for or receive when your partner wants to say sorry or just wants to surprise you! It's a flower that'll last you a lifetime and it's a gift that keeps on giving! Don't be fooled by its size, it packs quite the punch even on its lowest setting, and there are 6 others you can explore (mix of steady and pulsing)! If you're a bit on the sensitive side like me, the 45 minute use span might last an eternity as the intensity drove me crazy in under a minute and I was definitely done in under 5. Its inconspicuous design allows you to leave it out in the open for easy access, or carry it around without issue. Simply tell people it's a rose shaped speaker or whatever you can imagine!

Satisfyer Mission Control Review: Houston We Have Liftoff!
"Mission Control, this is NotSoInnocent, it seems this rocket was able to take us further than we could have ever imagined!" This is "one small step" further into the realm of clitoral stimulation toys that can help you take a "giant leap" into ecstasy! If Buzz Lightyear had to satisfy you with a rocket (that wasn't his own), this would be the one! All puns aside, I would definitely recommend this product! The variety of settings, the power levels and the waterproof rating make it an awesome companion, while its adorable nature makes it easy to leave it out on a nightstand as a cute space themed dickeration.

ROMP Lipstick Review: For Plumper Lips Try This!
My makeup bag just got a little fuller and so did my lips! The usual price for this device is a bit scary, especially in comparison to the Blush Lipstick, but I'd definitely recommend snatching it up when it goes on sale for around the same price as the Blush as it's so worth it! As someone that's still new to the world of toys it was the perfect little introduction to the world of clitoral stimulation ones. It's quiet, compact, soft to the touch and more than capable of getting the job done on its own, but it has the ability due to its small stature to be used with penetrating toys like the Blush Lipstick or others without getting in the way! I'm not much of a make-up gal, but having these two types of lipsticks in my bag guarantees I can have a good night on the town, anytime and anywhere!

Iroha Midori – The Softest Touch We’ve Ever Felt
We’re not going to lie — the Iroha Midori might not be the strongest vibe in our drawer, but it’s definitely the softest. This toy is all about comfort, calmness, and gentle build-up. It doesn’t aim for brute-force orgasms or endless modes — it’s focused, beautifully crafted, and oh so squishy. The texture and feel alone make it worth exploring, especially if you’re sensitive, new to toys, or simply want something a little different. We were honestly a bit skeptical at first — three settings and a shape that looks more like a stress ball than a vibrator? But once in hand, it all clicked. The plush exterior, the ergonomic design, the subtle yet deep rumble — it’s clear Midori was created with care and intention. That said, it’s not going to be everyone’s go-to. Power-seekers might be underwhelmed, and those who prefer a precision-targeted vibe might get frustrated. But if you’re after hands-free potential, elegance, and a unique, body-conscious design, it’s a standout piece. Also, we have to give props to how discreet it is. Sitting on its charging pad, it doesn’t scream sex toy — it whispers luxury wellness. If you’re curious about soft-touch pleasure and want to explore sensations that lean into delicacy over intensity, Midori could be your next favorite companion. Oh, and if you’ve made it this far — don’t miss our deep dive into how we tested it, how it compares to other vibes, and why we think it might be the best thing for sensitive days. 😉

plusOne Dual Vibrating Massager: Intense Vibrations at an Affordable Price
The plusOne Dual Vibrating Massager packs a lot of power for its price. My partner originally purchased it before we got together, and while it’s not a match for my rumbly preferences, I can see why it’s a favorite. The flexible design, waterproof build, and dual motors make it versatile, but the intensely buzzy vibrations turned me off. But it’s a solid choice for anyone seeking intense sensations on a budget.

CalExotics Charmer Dual Ended Vibrator Review: My Little Snake Charmer! ;P
There's a Snake in my Puss! Don't worry, CalExotics' Charmer doesn't bite, and the only thing lethal about it is the pleasure it provides ;P. This stimulating toy will slither into your pants and charm you with ease with its dual-ended, firmly flexible body and 10 increasing intensity vibrations. Slumber lasts 2.5hrs, play lasts 35-90mins and charging is done with a 3.5mm jack style charger. Though no IPX rating is provided, all literature claims this little rattler is waterproof so be wary of this water snake entering your bath. Another exciting feature is its memory retention so play can be resumed at any point. I've gone from a Gryffindor to a Slytherin in a matter of a toy lol. Not entirely true, Malfoy can stuff it, but this toy can Slyther-in to my Chamber of Secrets any day ;P. The vibes range from beginner to advanced; the ribbed rattle feels nice inside and out; and the flex stays firm in place during all sorts of play. The dual-headed design aspect is a bit conflicting... Though the vibes are equal in both heads, the fact that the power button is on the snake head defeats the dual purpose as now it's no longer operable unless removed, pressed and reinserted and I'm not a fan of that ><". I can see it being disappointing to other users but I'll say the 35 min run time on high is not a disappointment as I can do sensual and/or speedy in under that and roll on with my day lol.

Playboy Royal Mini Wand is a Regal Experience — Especially for Newbies
I would absolutely recommend the Royal Mini Wand to somebody who's never used a wand before or is looking for their first quality toy that won't break the bank and still comes in at under $100. It's a great first-time option if you're not ready for a larger wand but you want to experience the sensation. It's also helpful for those who don't want intense clitoral pulsing or sucking since it puts a lot of stimulation in this same area but spreads out the vibrations. If you're willing to pay for the Playboy name, it's a great first-time wand or toy, for that matter, and I'll definitely be using this one again.

Pipedream Classix Mr. Right Vibrator Gave Me the Creeps
This is a weird little toy. I’ve told you guys before that I judge sex toys by their cover. It’s not something I’m proud of, and I’ve been proven wrong many times. I was hoping to be proven wrong this time, really. I gave it a shot, I promise. Even when I had to go to the store and buy new batteries, I told myself it would be worth it. But this creepy and useless toy was not worth it. I also want to say, I’m all for lifelike dildos with realistic texture and ribbing. But do not dye it primary blue and make it unnecessarily squishy. I don’t have any interest in a soft and blue penis. I don’t like that it’s the same color as a children's toy. You can have lifelike and you can have bright colors, you cannot have them both and expect me to like it. A pastel would have been wonderful and an earth tone would have been even better. I’m not saying it can’t be colorful. I am saying that it cannot look and feel like a children’s slime tube. Aesthetics aside, let's discuss performance. First, it required batteries, but once we got past that annoyance and into playtime it did absolutely nothing for me. It was so soft and gooey. It doesn’t target your G-spot, and the handle is too short to maneuver. And while the veins and ribbing were nice, they were not as stimulating as I’m sure they were meant to be. Plus, the vibrations were “meh.” The only service it really provides is penetration. It’s hard to find something redeeming about this toy.

Bellesa Stim: Petite, Precise & Powerful
Let’s be real—this is a budget-friendly toy. At just $20, it’s kind of a steal. And sure, you do get what you pay for, but in this case, what you get actually feels like it’s worth a lot more than the price tag. One standout feature? The travel case. As someone who’s constantly tossing things into a suitcase or a backpack, I really appreciate that I can throw this in without worrying it’ll get dusty or mysteriously fuzzy (you know the fuzz I’m talking about). That said, the toy doesn’t stay perfectly nestled in its little compartment—the main body and the ball head attachment tend to bounce around a bit. Is it annoying? A little. Is it a dealbreaker? Definitely not. Regarding vibrations, you’re getting five speeds and zero patterns—which is a win in my book. Each setting packs a punch, and as someone who’s pretty sensitive, I can say this toy really tests my limits (in a good way… mostly). It’s got more of a buzzy feel than a deep rumble, but when you switch out the attachments, it opens up some fun possibilities. Honestly? The more I use it, the more I like it. Would I recommend it as a first-ever toy? Maybe not the absolute best starter, but for the price, it’s one of the most solid intro options out there.

Aurora Soft Touch Review
The Balessa Aurora Soft Touch offers a unique blend of power and gentleness with its memory foam-like, flexible tip. Its 10 quiet vibration modes, waterproof design, and travel lock make it versatile for both internal and external stimulation. Ideal for beginners or those who prefer softer, contouring toys, it provides a gentle yet powerful experience without causing discomfort.

Pure Envy Serenity Stick Review: Spa-aaahhh or Na-aaahhh?
The Pure Envy Serenity Stick is unique among all of the toys I have encountered thus far as it has an electronic panel that displays the setting, the intensity level, run time, and the battery level all in a super clear and convenient manner. It has 10 settings, a single vibration and 9 patterns, and each setting can have an intensity varying from 1 to 4. Though a charging time is nowhere to be found, the device can be used for 120 minutes and has an IPX7 rating which blows my mind! This has more electronics than the other Pure Envy toys I have, but is the only one among them that's capable of being fully submersed in a tub! Despite its name being Serenity, I would not call the sounds it makes serene in the least. The vibrations sound a bit intense and obnoxious which kind of breaks the mood in a sensual sense, but I could somehow tolerate and overlook if it means that my neck, shoulders, and back feel better lol. This device is pretty awesome overall for what it is and what it's capable of, but I think I would put it with my Ava Evo and Shibari Halo and use it as a genuine every day massager more than I'd ever use it as a "personal" one.

Tracy's Dog OG Dual-Vibe Is Fun Alone or With a Friend
Tracy's Dog OG Dual-Vibe is a little something different than what I've played with in the bedroom in the past, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's a remote-controlled toy that can easily be used without the remote. It's a nice, smooth silicone. Unlike some toys, Tracy's Dog tossed three sample packs of lube in the package too, so it's all ready to go once you give it a charge,
